Very remote and good break away from it all, around 15 minutes to the closest pub. Definitely worth stocking up on food and drinks to make it a fully remote experience. Great quality hot tub, clean cottage and had everything we needed.

We have just come back from a long relaxing weekend and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Really private and spacious. Jim was brilliant and really responsive to any problems or queries we had. Would highly recommend.

For hiking in north wales this is the perfect location. We had the most relaxing week, making good use of the hot tub after exploring the area. The cabin itself has everything you need including its own cinema and it's setting couldn't be more perfect for helping you truly relax. The hosts made us and our dog feel incredibly welcome and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a truly unforgettable holiday.

Definitely worth staying!! It is beautiful, for homebodies like myself, it has some good Movies and games! For more active people, there are beautiful walls and sights!! Perfect for any type of person! Carolyn was amazing, whenever i needed help, she was there! Even if it was just a stupid question! Thank you very much, will definitely come back!!!

Lovely Family Home This is truly a home from home providing travellers all they need to have a comfortable stay. We travelled as a group of 6 with 2 cars fitting on the drive no problems but local EV charger provides a cheaper rate. The house is spacious and offers more than enough room for everyone without tripping over each other. The wood fired hot tub is a particular highlight and is private from the neighbours in the back garden and yet offers some views of the surrounding valley. Definitely recommend and would happily return for a family holiday.

3rd visit back here and we absolutely loved it! Mark amd Sheila were very accommodating with us taking our baby for the first time. Fantastic as always and will always recommend! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here! We got so lucky with the weather for the middle of March and enjoyed using the hot tub and sitting outside on the swing chair! The lodge was clean and had everything you needed and the bed was sooo comfy!We went to the pub near a few times and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Katy was very helpful and responsive at all times. We would defo recommend to anyone who would like a peaceful getaway ☺️

Paul's house (Hafod Cae Maen) is in the most idyllic location with wonderful views towards the surrounding estuaries and mountains. The house is super comfortable, and surrounded by a peaceful garden. The approach from the main road is along a bumpy track, and takes about 5 minutes to drive up. It is near to shops in Porthmadog and many other attractions nearby. We particularly enjoyed walks in the surrounding area and returning to spend evenings in front of a log fire in the library. Paul could not have been more helpful in providing directions and recommendations.

We had a wonderful stay at Gwardolau Cottage. Karl was very accommodating. Karl has great knowledge of the area and advised on where to visit nearby. We had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. The cottage is a great base to explore the Elan Valley.

Super location in many ways; coastal walks in either direction, in the heart of Porthmadog yet very peaceful, wonderful views from the balcony of the hills and the tidal waters. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Bonus to have parking outside the front door. Lynn's a great host; helpful and quick to respond.

My cousin and I stayed for a girls' weekend away and had a fantastic time. The dome was so cosy with the log burner and we felt right at home. Everything was spotless, the showers hot and kitchen well equipped. The views were beautiful and sitting in bed with a cup of tea, looking at the mountains, was so relaxing. Lots of hills and beaches for walks nearby. Will definitely be coming back!

The cottage was lovely and warm on arrival with a full basket of logs to keep us going that evening. There was also a freezer full of excellent meals, both meat and veggie dishes in the games room next door which we made use of on the first evening. Good quality and warm bedding much appreciated as the nights were cold. A short drive to the coast and other interesting places..a great few days stay!

Everything you would want from a luxury lodge. The grounds are really well maintained and access to the river is a plus. Great sun room to relax and enjoy the rivers wildlife.

Stunning location, authentic old house with charm, right on the edge of the estuary. Of the road and quiet with off road parking for at least 5 cars. Wonderful to see the tide flooding in and out.

Had a great stay at Puffin lodge with my partner and two young children. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had a lovely seaside theme decor. The views of the sea and mountains were breathtaking and my children enjoyed watching the rabbits that would hop about outside the lodge. The kitchen had everything you’d need to prepare a variety of meals and plastic plates and bowls for the children to use. The toys/games/books that were available to use were a big hit with my children, particularly as I’d forgotten to pack books and they like a bedtime story. The lodge was located on a quieter part of the park which we liked and was close to the beach and only a short walk to entertainment and activities. We all had a great stay and would definitely return and recommend to others.

Good location to explore North Wales. Plenty to do on site too..

Stayed for the weekend with 2 small children and grandparents. The lodge is beautiful, in a fabulous position on site and the most well appointed we have stayed in. Lots of little details that make such a difference when you’re self catering. Jo was such a great host providing very clear instructions which was needed on such a big site. Would definitely return and recommend!

Great location and facilities. The cottage was perfect for our needs with 3 adults and 7 children. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to the workshop. And the private hot tub was a great bonus!! Would definitely like to visit again!!

There was a small issue at start which got resolved promptly by Nerys. It's a nice location, near University, and Aberystwyth is a nice seaside town. Recommended.

A nice little cottage with everyting that you'd need. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Having 2 bathrooms was great given we have 2 teenage girls! The cottage was easy to find and the instructions on how to gain access were clear. The communication from Nerys was very good and prompt. All in all, it was a good stay for our flying visit to Aberystwyth.

The lodge was cosy, comfortable and beautifully located. The garden was surrounded by incredible views of mountains and so much wildlife! We saw bees, butterflies and many different kinds of birds. The swimming pool was much enjoyed by our son! The site was lovely and quiet too. We were not too far from Snowdonia National Park and all it's glory! We were able to find some amazing hidden gems, including a nearby restaurant overlooking a huge lake! The Cross Foxes restaurant was also amazing! Delicious food, although not cheap! King Arthur's labyrinth is very close by, and they have a wonderful café and loads of activities including pot painting! The site had everything we needed. Hot water in the kitchen sink was a little temperamental, but nothing a quick kettle boil couldn't fix! The bedding was lovely and comfortable, and Jackie was always at hand via text or call, if we had any queries or issues. One of the most enjoyable holidays we've had. We highly recommend this lodge!
