The place was exactly what we were looking for and is a great base to explore Whitby, close enough to be convenient but also far enough away to be able to retreat from the crowds. The setting is very unique beneath the arches of the viaduct and it is very peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

We booked Villa 2 for a family get together for a 70th birthday celebration. (8 including a child) The location is central and a couple of minutes walk to harbour. Check in was easy, the host Rachel communicated well and was informative. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Bathrooms were clean, towels, shampoo and shower gel were provided. All bedrooms had a wall mounted tv and storage. Parking permits were provided for the duration of our stay and after request we had a later check out time. (Which after a day of sea air and clocks changing thrown in there were some tired people)

Wow! What an amazing place this is. Just as seen on the pictures. Beautifully furnished, the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The location is right on the beach with access to Filey and other places only a short drive away. Vanda is a great host. She was really flexible with our requests for extra time to check out and responds quickly. We will be back!

Short stay but everything was as expected and will definitely book again if another reason to visit the area arises.

If you’re staying in Pocklington then this house is fantastic. Huge! Clean! Warm and cosy. All the mod cons. Really really exceeded our expectations. It’s just a couple of minutes walk from Market Place. Only comment is that maybe there should be fans in all the bathrooms…otherwise, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis…way bigger than you think. Loved it.

Samantha was a massive help in responding so quickly to our booking request! After our original accommodation with another provider got cancel on the check in day, Samantha saved the day. The accommodation was more than big enough for our group of 10 and had everything we needed. There was a coop shop just a quick walk away which was perfect for picking up some groceries. We had a great stay! Thank you!

We named the place “Party House’ It was so well equipped for all ages to have a brilliant time . The huge projector screen was a huge hit with everyone . The hot tub was a great add but we didn’t use it as was too busy going to the seaside etc ( 20mins drive👍) Martyn was extremely helpful when we had a problem and came round straight away to sort it . All round a perfect “party house’ lots of tv’s - Peppa pig in one room , football in another and Emmerdale elsewhere . One suggestion I would give to Martin is that the front huge bedroom , with only one plug socket in the room , could do with an extension cable with extra sockets . Thank you we had a great time
