Amazing location just a short walk from Kyoto Station — perfect for getting around the city. The apartment is surprisingly large for central Kyoto, offering way more space than most places we looked at. It was super clean and well-kept, making it a really comfortable stay. The kitchen could use more dishes and utensils, but it wasn’t a big deal — we just grabbed a few things from the 7/11 nearby. Highly recommend if you want a clean, spacious, and super convenient base in Kyoto!

Very easy to find the place with Junko’s instructions. It is close to Kinkaku-ji but you will need to take the bus for the rest of the touristic areas. The staff and Junko are very kind and helpful. The room is cozy, the bed quite comfortable and the kitchen in it is so convenient. The shared bathroom is clean and the schedule system worked well, there is always a second bathroom if needed. Overall a perfect place for a Kyoto trip!

This place is absolutely lovely, had a refrigerator which is amazing to store morning coffees (I love the 7/11 coffees) but also supplied tea and coffee with a kettle if needed. Natalie was so great for check in even though I ended up being super late because of trouble figuring out transport. There is a large hill to get up, but it's not too much of an issue as it's small. It's right near Hirakatashi station which has so many connections and the Keihan line which will get you everywhere. I had a few issues with the wifi in my room, but it was fine outside of my room so I just ended up working downstairs. Also had very easy checkout which was wonderful

J ai passé un très agréable séjour , reposant grâce au calme de la maison et du quartier ce qui est bien agréable quand on rentre d une journée dans le centre de Kyoto. La maison est à 15 mn à pied du pavillon d or , un peu éloignée du centre mais il y a des bus à proximité . La chambre est très agréable ( seul bémol les fenêtres floutees, il faut les ouvrir pour voir le beau jardin). Junko répond à toutes vos demandes quand vous la sollicitez et est un hôte sympathique.

Located in a quiet residential area of Hirakata, very relaxed and cozy place to stay. Very warm and comfortable room and very easy to find on foot Short walk to the konbini and the local station. Soo peaceful standing outside when it’s snowing. Thank you for hosting me and thank you for a lovely place to stay :)

Really amazing traditional stay in Kyoto. You get a tour of the house including all the traditional aspects that really stand out compared to staying in a hotel. Easy transport links and good cheap restaurants nearby.

Thank you Wei for hosting us at your beautiful home. Wei's house is cosy, comfortable, clean and beautiful. We have plenty of space for a family of 4. Location is very close to Toji Station, Toji temple and walkable to Aeon shopping mall.

Of all the times we have used Airbnb. This is definitely one of our favorite locations. Beautiful old feel with modern amenities. The bed was fantastic. The location was fantastic. Wish we could've stayed there for longer.

Tei’s unit is freshly renovated and has super comfy beds! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a modern stay in Kyoto.

The rooms were very clean and organised perfectly. As soon as you come in you feel the sense of comfort and cleanliness. The toilet was spot on and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The train station is about 10 minutes walk. It feels homely.

Amazing Airbnb. It was very clean and tidy in a very quaint neighborhood, was perfect to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Quick walk from Kyoto station, so there’s plenty of restaurants and convenience stores near by. Yi Hsiu provided crystal clear instructions to get from Kyoto station to her place. She’s maintained the place very well and has all of the listed amenities. Loved sleeping on the tatami bed, unique experience. The backyard was very nice as well!

Extraordinary place! Me and my family had planned to stay for just one night and after checking in we decided to stay to extend our stay. Hope to be back someday!
