Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

“It’s the people who matter. Caretaker Mark and his family made us feel home from the instant we reached this place. These were some of the most humble people I’ve ever met. I was traveling with a 2yr old who wasn’t feeling well, Mark got medicines for us even late in the night. One of the highlight was the bonfire and dinner setup around it which made the stay extra special for us. The homecooked food was so amazing that we ended up eating at home on all days! Staywise- The villa is not luxurious but is functional. Location is at the centre with most attractions nearby.

Das Airbnb befindet sich super idyllisch in den Bergen - dadurch war dir Anreise recht schwierig (sehr schlechte, enge Straßen). Dafür wird man mit wunderbarer Ruhe belohnt! Das Haus und vor allem die Aussicht ist wunderschön, das Sahnehäubchen ist aber der private Koch, der uns kulinarisch verwöhnt hat. Die Kommunikation mit Jay und vorallem auch Anu war super. Wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist man hier genau richtig!!

Definitely recommend, we stayed for 2 nights. He was a gracious host and provided us with tea and biscuits. The steep climb to reach house was a bit challenging for slightly older group (60 years) but nothing to worry about. He was very helpful, nice and always happy to help.

Every other five star I've given pales in comparison to this place! Highlight of our whole Sri Lankan trip. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, probably the best food we have eaten in Sri Lanka. The whole family was so friendly and helpful and Romeni and Grace even gave us a cooking demonstration. The hike through the cloud forest with Lal is also fantastic. The accommodation is very peaceful, we were sad to leave! Thankyou again.

My entire stay at Edgar Mansion was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor. Every corner of the house exuded a sense of elegance and warmth, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to Chef Reggie and his talented team. Not only did they prepare extraordinary meals that delighted the senses, but they also went above and beyond to attend to all our needs with genuine care and professionalism. Their dedication truly elevated the entire experience.

This is the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. So beautiful, like walking into an oasis. The pool is actually private, since all three rooms in the home have their own. Once you enter, you are greeted by the host’s parents and a welcome drink. Champ’s dad took really good care of us and acted as our private travel agent. He made arrangements and reservations with drivers during our time in kandy. Full schedule of things not to miss.

The Villa was absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway — Mohamed and Tuan were the perfect hosts: super responsive and polite, always helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The space is spotless, the rooms were large and kept perfectly, and the view was unmatched. As long as you have transport to get you into Kandy, it’s also located conveniently so you can reach the city easily but still get the peace and quiet of the hills. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay with more attentive hosts!

A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city - peaceful, surrounded by nature, and free from noise pollution. Duminda, David, and Charles made me feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was an unforgettable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
