Beautiful home, light and spacious, stunning views, everything you could think you might need and more. Stunning views of the Mournes and across from the beach. We didn’t want to leave, wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Newcastle.

Eoin was very helpful...he even arranged extra bedding for us....we felt very homy...kitchen was very well stocked...extremely clean and good heating at the house...excellent view

The most amazing house we've stayed in to date. The views from the house are heavenly and the pictures don't do it justice. Being able to walk across the garden to the beach is amazing. Great facilities in the house. The house was always warm. We've stayed in Downings numerous times but the location of this house is perfect. The views are outstanding and being able to walk to the pub, cafes, hotels and shop etc is a major bonus for Donegal. It's also pet friendly which is fantastic and the house has gates on the stairs so the dogs can't wander. The hosts couldn't be more helpful and responsive to any queries. Can't wait to go back again!

William's place was a lovely house, perfect for our family of four. The location was perfect, a five minute walk from Bishop Street and into town with loads of cafes, pubs and shops and the Walls nearby. We're hopefully going back to Derry in the summer and would love to stay at William's place again.

Great big house in central location in Killybegs. 15 minute walk to shorefront and pubs/shop etc. Mary was very responsive and extremely helpful both prior to and after our stay. My mum forgot her sunglasses and Mary offered to post them to us - brilliant! There were 5 adults and 4 kids staying and the house was a perfect size. Bedrooms were clean and welcoming. The living room was spacious and warm with the option of an open fire. The kitchen was also very spacious and had everything you would need. We did the short drive to Slieve League and would highly recommend this. All in all, a super stay in a lovely house in beautiful Killybegs. Mary was a brilliant host. Would definitely go back with the family.

Just back from Heather’s place… I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. The house was spotless and exactly as described. Our dog Penny loved the enclosed yard and had lots of fun with her ball. Kitchen was excellent and had everything needed for making any meal. As a host Heather was fantastic, in touch straight away to confirm the booking and then again before we arrived with clear instructions on how to get in. Also responded immediately to any questions. Just a few steps to the promenade and all the bars and restaurants. Will definitely book again for my next visit to Portstewart

Fiona was a fantastic host. The glamping pod was excellent, and the hot tub was brilliant. The kids loved it. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning. I will definitely be staying again, but in the upgraded Boathouse or the Swan.

From the moment we arrived caitríona was there to greet us and show us around. The cottage was so cosy and warm the hot tub was ready for use and stayed warm all night really enjoyed sitting outside under the stars and how peaceful an quiet it was the whole trip was so enjoyable and the pizza oven was fab not to forget the 2 doggies who were so friendly pottering around. 100% recommend staying here will be back in the furniture. Thanks so much for having us and been a fantastic host.

The Sawmill is, without a doubt, the most incredible Airbnb I’ve ever experienced! Every centimeter of it is packed with charm and thoughtful details, making it truly special! Nestled in a tranquil forest with a private lake nearby, it feels like a hidden paradise in the heart of Donegal - the most breathtaking county in Ireland. And the sauna? Absolute perfection - the ultimate way to unwind after a day of hiking, surfing, or exploring the stunning coastline. The host was fantastic, providing clear instructions and ensuring everything was seamless. Can’t recommend this place enough – we loved every second!

Beautifully maintained old Portaferry terrace. The view from the front door takes some beating, just walking out the door made you smile. The bedrooms are spacious, with very comfortable mattresses. Good kitchen, back sitting room was a great space to relax and talk after a days walking. Whilst being on the road, the thickness of the walls makes the house silent and peaceful. The property is on the sea front and a short walk to bars, shops and restaurants in the village. A short ride on the ferry takes you into the beautiful village of Strangford and for us a lovely meal in the Artisan Cookhouse (strongly recommend). Michael was a great host, directions and details were spot on. The property was a lovely find and I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing get away in a beautiful part of the country.

We had a wonderful stay in Ernie's Den in March, the home was clean, modern and spacious. The home had many appliances/cutlery to avail of. Loads of room for 12 of us and a dog. The surrounding views were stunning, we all enjoyed the swimspa and hottub overlooking the lough and the massage chair which was a nice surprise. Local amenities were only around a 10 min drive. Messages were replied to very quickly. Thank you Ryan for allowing us to have a relaxing few days!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rock Farm Slane! The place is so peaceful, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our dog, Zoe, had the best time exploring the wide, walkable spaces and taking in the beautiful sights. The atmosphere is serene, and it’s a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway—especially for those with pets who love the outdoors! We’ll definitely be back.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing property and such an outstanding location. Edgewater House is beautifully presented....the kitchen and living area is a fantastic space to socialise and relax, well equipped with all necessary cooking items, crockery and basic store cupboard items provided. Helen supplied a very generous welcome hamper which was much appreciated. The bedroom linen and decor is first class quality and the bathroom facilities are amazing. The house location is private and tranquil and with the addition of the pool, hot tub and the amazing views over Lough Foyle it made for an unforgettable weekend. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back.

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. Caroline was a great host and responded really quickly to any queries we had throughout the week. The house was extremely clean and had everything you would ever need for your holiday. The pool was an added bonus, and although not heated the kids and us really enjoyed having a daily dip. Good location for exploring Donegal, would highly recommend.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mary. Tout était très fidèle à la description et aux photos. La maison est idéal pour un couple et le logement est très fonctionnel. Nous n’avons pas pu rencontrer Mary qui était aux USA mais il y avait plein de petites attentions à notre arrivée et Mary est restée disponible pour répondre à nos questions et nous avions aussi un contact sur place en cas de besoin. Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander cet endroit.

The studio apartment was nice and cosy, and well equiped with everything you'd need. The hot tub was a great addition. Nicola was quick to respond to any messages and close by if you needed her help with anything. Even though the studio is within her garden area, she allows you plenty of privacy. It was perfect for my two dogs and close to both Castlerock beach and the Mussenden Temple/Downhill Demesne. Would recommend the Coffee Hut in Castlerock and Al's Coffee Bar beside The Lion's Gate/Mussenden Temple. Will hopefully return soon!

very please with location and accommodation. house very clean, felt like home from home. everything we needed in house, kitchen wear, bedding, towels, board games, books cards and things for the beach. off street parking for two cars. location - quite area, great for walking and watching the sun set on the beach. one local restaurant, shops about 1 mile away, able to walk safely to them. also egg vending machine 10 mins walk away! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anns house. The house was fantastic, very comfortable and with a bright and spacious kitchen/ living area. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather during our stay and the spacious back garden was an ideal spot to sit and relax in the sun. Walking distance to the village and a short drive to many of the scenic spots nearby. hist Ann was very friendly and helpful. would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay in Heart of the Mews. From the moment we booked, Anne-Marie couldn’t do enough for us, from providing us with pet friendly cafes, restaurants and shops to the cookies and milk for when we arrived. The place was so comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The fact that Heart of the Mews was pet friendly was a huge bonus as we were able to spoil our dogs with long walks on the beach. Anne-Marie’s place was in a fantastic location and although a little noisy in the evening (which we were well aware would be the case and would never begrudge anyone a night out!) everything was quiet and calm by 11pm on the dot each night. We absolutely loved our stay in Portrush and will definitely be booking again with Anne Marie in the near future. Ps. The late check out was much appreciated!

Heather’s wee cottage was stunning! So much attention to detail and personal touches like homemade wheaten bread. The bed was THE comfiest bed I have ever slept on and the place was in pristine condition. The location was amazing and being able to sit outside with my cuppa and watch the birds feed by the elm tree was so peaceful. Genuinely one of the best AirBnBs I have ever stayed in and hope I can make it back one day.

Fantastic spot out in the country while still being 10min from the local town. The view from the back window was incredible especially at sunset and the sheep in the front were cool (no sheep in FL). The home was clean and well built. I’m 6’4, 225lbs (100kg) and I had plenty of room in the shower. Very happy we staying here during our trip as this was one of the top spots we visited. Our second stay in Jimmys. A lovely clean and homely place to stay to relax and unwind. Beautiful home baked scones on arrival and very well equipped. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend/week away if looking for peace and quiet - great WiFi connection and close enough to everything Enniskillen and its beautiful surroundings have to offer.
