We felt right at home at Mission House! After a long trip from the USA, we could really spread out and relax! The place was spotless and lots of space to accommodate our family. My cousin was getting married just up the hill so it was a perfect location!

We had such a wonderful stay at Jane’s beautiful house on Gowrie Farm this December! Jane was an exceptional host - easy to talk to and accommodating. The house itself was perfect, well-equipped, private, and offering the most stunning views across the farm. The Midlands and Gowrie hold a special place in our hearts, and this visit just reaffirmed that connection. A special thank you to Precious, the housekeeper, who was so friendly and sweet. She really added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We stayed here to be close to family over Christmas, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Thank you, Jane, for making our stay so memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Dornoch Farm. We could not have asked for anything more and got exactly what we were looking for - peace and tranquility. The house was very well stocked with attention to detail. The house was serviced every day which was an unexpected bonus. We would love to go back

A beautiful home, with plenty of space . Comfortable rooms with all amenities. We loved the fact that we could have our dogs with us and enjoyed the walks on the commonage and the beautiful views. Lots of choice for restaurants and groceries easily available from Underberg 5min away. We would definitely be back if we can

Gillians house was lovely, the yard is massive , Kids were able to kick a football around and the swimming pool was cold but the kids loved it and is visible from the extra large terrace. The bedrooms had ample space and lots of storage , 2 bathrooms and a good size kitchen with everything required. wifi worked well walking distance to shops and a great pub wit good food and live music.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home, in a very convenient and quiet location. The stunning garden and well equipped kitchen were a real bonus during this family holiday. I would thoroughly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience at Layla’s place! The apartment was exactly as described an, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to local attractions and yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. Layla was incredibly welcoming and responsive. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay again in the future.

Excellent location for anyone attending a function at the nearby Torwoodlea lodge. Linda was a great host. Her place is remarkably clean,neat and peaceful. We loved the plants & vegetation, not forgetting the friendly dogs to welcome us. Kitchen is well equipped. Great place if you want peace away from busy city life. Thanks to Linda for accomodating us. We will definitely be back.

It was much better in real live than on the pictures. The only thing missing was wifi, but cellphone reception was pretty good.

Such a stunning venue that hosted my entire family over the Christmas period. The house and plot was beautiful not to mention the stunning views of their pristine garden and background mountains. The hosts Ashley and Barry were ever ready to assist at any time and provided us all the comforts needed as a home away from home. we also travelled with a toddler which they accomodated very easily. Thank you very much for all gracious hosting

Really a beautiful spot and can see Janice puts a lot of effort and attention to detail in the place. She was also straight to the point real efficient and just a lovely lady over all. Highly recommended. Also enjoyed the personal touch of half a litre of real milk and a 5 litre bottle of drinking water showcasing her attention to detail.

Beautiful house in a very safe closed community. We spent a wonderful 6 nights here and felt like kings. Really appreciated the cleaning service each day ( we have 3 teenagers!). Easy to access everything in Hilton.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Hosts were very accomodating and gave us loads of recommendations of things to do. There were some incredible walks nearby and the views were spectacular. Also some really good restaurants nearby. Cannot recommend highly enough!

An absolute paradise! Great for all ages, we had from a toddler for the day to 85 year old mama, who all felt at home and had a wonderful time. We lived on the back porch, soaking in the sun and breeze and catching up with each other after 2 years apart. Would absolutely stay again!

This is a stunning house in a stunning location. It is huge and can accommodate 6 people easily (all in large, en-suite bedrooms). It is extremely well equipped and so suitable for extended stays. The estate itself was beautiful - so very peaceful and full of animals - and the views from the house were incredible. The host and co-host are very responsive, which is very helpful and reassuring. The security on the estate is excellent and we felt very safe. Overall, cleanliness was fine. I agree with a previous reviewer that there were aspects where this could be improved, but would say these were discreet issues rather than a widespread problem. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

We had such a wonderful stay. The home was absolutely stunning and full of charm! The host and all the staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay so special. We did have little children/babies so the curtaining (or lack there of) in some of the bedrooms was a bit of issue, but nothing really to complain about it, just something to be mindful of if travelling with babies. Would definitely stay again, such a beautiful stay!

What a wonderful place. The photos do not do it justice. We were a group of ladies who had a lovely time there. Only unfortunate thing was the stage 6 loadshedding which left us with more hours without electricity vs with electricity. Only the lights in the house run off an inverter but sadly no plugs. A gas kettle and stove top were available. Regardless of the loadshedding, we still enjoyed ourselves
