Chris's place is really a home away from home, while still getting a relaxing and safe holiday experience. I was even able to cook a special lunch for my family and the kitchen had everything that I needed, to the last detail. We had a lovely stay and I highly recommend Cheers Umzumbe, and Chris is a very patient and efficient host.

Bilkees's please is awesome. She goes over and beyond for her guests. I really recommend this place in the Margate area. She is a wonderful host.

Situated in a quite area of the estate, close to all amenities, with lovely views of the river. this unit is perfectly situated. The unit is cleverly designed to provide lots of space for 2 families of kids and adults to socialise and relax. The kitchen is small but has all the appliances needed to make our stay hassle free.

Very comfortable, clean and relaxing. We were welcomed by Rene and Deon and were left to settle in, which was perfect. Rene kept us updated on the loadshedding schedule as it changes so often. Will definitely return and recommend.

Our family of six enjoyed a wonderful six-night stay at Vicki's place. The house had everything we needed, the view was amazing (dolphins, whales, birds), Vicki was always responsive, and the three minute walk to the beach directly down from the house was perfect. It's a 10 minute beach walk down to the official Umzumbe Beach with its lifeguards/amenities/surfers. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We saw joggers and people walking their dogs, and we always felt quite safe. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The place was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We utilized Regina the helper one day and she was great. As we're not used to setting/disarming alarms, we struggled a bit with the alarm system, but we eventually got the hang of it. We experienced load shedding one evening, but with the propane/gas oven and all of the candles plus large flashlights available, this was actually enjoyable. We plan to return!

We had an amazing stay at this well-equipped house that is in the most fantastic location right on the beach. A beautiful verandah and garden to watch the birds and listen to the sea. Theresa looked after us so well and Gillian was a very friendly and responsive host. Thank you for a superb stay!

Fantastic accommodation. Felt exactly like a home away from home. Heather and David were extremely good hosts, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They provided us with everything from bottled water to cooking oil! Stage 6 loadshedding started on arrival but we didn't even feel it due to back up solar power. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was largely due to the exceptional attention to detail of our hosts.

Super Unterkunft, mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Strand schnell erreichbar und auch sehr schön und sauber. Außendusche sehr nice, mit Blick aufs Meer. Wenn wir wieder eine Reise machen, gehört diese Unterkunft zu den Favoriten. Gerne wieder.
