This was the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had! From the moment I booked, the welcome was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Nicolas sent a lovely message right after booking, and the villa staff were instantly responsive via a message group, helping with tuk-tuks and any questions. The villa is absolutely stunning—sleek design, beautiful decor, and a breathtaking outdoor area with a large pool - my jaw dropped for hours upon seeing it. The peaceful location, complete with morning visits from monkeys, made it a truly unique experience. A special thank you to the amazing staff, who went above and beyond to organize my mum’s birthday with flowers in the pool, a fruit basket, fireworks, and a cake. Their kindness made the stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for the perfect holiday, this is it. I can’t wait to come back and will recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you!

Had the most amazing stay here, the location alone really is so special. You must be prepared to deal with wildlife during your stay, but for the most part it’s honestly such a bonus to the experience! The house has been beautifully designed, and maintained and felt really clean and comfortable to use fully. Shanaka was very helpful with any request we had, whilst also giving us complete freedom and privacy. The homemade food options are very well prices and delicious! The location is really handy too, close to a lot of beach towns, Galle fort and only 2hrs from Colombo airport. Would also recommend visiting nearby Koggala Lake, which Shanaka can help arrange!

Great property in a private local area but walking distance to restaurants, shops and beaches. We came for surfing and the host and property manager was very helpful and the waves in Ahangama were perfect and consistent every day. We like to cook so the kitchen and amenities were good. The pool was lovely to relax in during the afternoon when the winds were on shore. Security at night was also a bonus. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at JC's villa! The serene location, with monkeys in the distant trees and peacocks roaming the lawn, was complemented by a spacious house, vast grounds, and an enormous swimming pool that both the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed. A big thank you to Bandara and the team for taking such great care of us, and to JC for having us.

We had a lovely stay at Valentina’s villa. Perfect location, with excellent communication and support from Valentina. A lovely, chilled way to end our stay in Sri Lanka.

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. We had a wonderful stay at Bianca and Dasun’s house at Weligama, the most perfect situation, you can walk straight onto the Beach. Bianca was very good at getting back to any queries we had and recommending places to eat. They have a TukTuk which Dinu or Dasun will drive you around in, in the local area. Breakfast was delivered every morning and they kindly did our laundry for us. We could not recommend it more, very lucky people who get to stay at Absolute Beach Villa

SeDi villa is a very special place to stay. The villa itself is beautiful, with such a lush backdrop. The bedrooms are very large, each with an impressive en-suite. The indoor-outdoor living is peaceful and helps you connect with the nature around you. We have been surprisingly unaffected by mosquitoes. The pool and garden have been enjoyed by all of us. Amila and his family are what has made our stay extra special. They have been very kind and helped us have a meaningful stay, giving us many Sri Lankan experiences.

The most gorgeous house. From the moment you walk in it’s stunning. The house has beautiful finishes and very well laud out to give everyone their own space. The pool is a great length and is surrounded by beautiful gardens . Ushan and Nayana were extremely helpful from sorting surf lessons to delicious curries and pancakes. The location is central for beaches and easy to get to Galle. A top class house; a fabulous home for any holiday. Thankyou Jen for sharing your home.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

Our family has the most beautiful stay at Wigi’s villa. Jayantha & his team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived (the Sri Lankan pancakes for afternoon tea are highly recommended!), and Hasitha was super responsive & accommodating to our requests in the lead up. Breakfast was abundant, and having the option to stay in for other meals given we have young children made for a relaxing holiday. The view from the living areas, the pool and lush green space is incredible. The team helped us arrange an excellent driver to Galle, and took great care of us all round. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the upstairs ones have fab views. The only thing to note is wifi service can be limited, which is something to be mindful of if working remotely. Thank you for an incredible stay, we’d love to return.

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

Such a beautiful place with peaceful waterfront location, we stayed with a big group of 29 adults and south point villa and south point ocean was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We had a great time swimming in the pools and the ocean, taking sunset walks on the beach. The staff are lovely and work tirelessly to meet our needs, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next year.

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

Chris's villa felt like a home from home for our short stay, he and his team at the villa were amazing and so attentive to our party. Roshan is a wonderful chef and our breakfasts were so fresh and delicious. The BBQ that he organised for us next to the beach one evening was unbelievable, especially the whole butter fish and prawns. The villa is ideally situated in Unawatuna but we were also close enough to nip to Weligama on tuk-tuks to try surfing, and up to Galle for shopping and dining. Chris's team were more than happy to promptly assist with organising tuk tuks and van hire for us whenever we needed them. The pool at the villa was perfect for our kids to splash about in during the afternoons as it was shaded by then. They also loved finding hermit crabs at the beach and spotting chipmunks, geckos and even a monkey on the villa roof one morning. We would thoroughly recommend Chris's villa to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a beautiful part of Sri Lanka. Hope to be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at TheBlues. Thank-you Janaka for making us feel so welcome and great communication throughout out stay, and to the lovely, friendly housemaids Nishani and Anousha who took care of us and cooked lovely meals whenever we wanted. The house is great, it's like staying in the jungle with monkeys jumping around in the trees whilst we enioyed the large pool. And the beautiful beach with turtles is very close-by, as are shops and cafes. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful property and Janaka as a host.

Where can I start…. We stayed at this beautiful villa for three nights and by far the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. Villas is very spacious and clean. Alfresco area and the pool is very thoughtfully designed. Well maintained garden with beautiful surroundings. Most of all the hospitality that we received from Ananda, Noni and Nayana’s took it to a next level. We had home cooked Sri Lankan meals all three days and specially the Christmas Day lunch was superb. We made great memories and met awesome people at the coconut grove villa which we will never forget… Also thank you to Roshan ( tuk tuk driver) and Lesley was very responsive all the way!

We had a lovely time a Palithas Place. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could need and the pool is great! The place is quiet and in walking distance to the beach and most restaurants. Palitha is a great host and helps wherever he can.

Eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir haben hier eine wunderschöne Zeit mit Freunden verbracht. Die Unterkunft mit direktem Meer Zugang und privatem Pool ist ein Traum. Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt! Ganz viele tolle Spots in der Umgebung und alles fußläufig erreichbar. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Malaka and his whole family went above and beyond anything a host has to do. We checked in early as our flight was a morning one, we were greeted with fresh juice. They gave us loads of recommendations and Nalaka even took us in his own transport to a safari, which was a 2 hr drive. They drove us round to visit the local temple. The tv had a small problem and straight away it was resolved, to the extent a new tv was needed. They even cooked us a traditional Sri Lankan meal on our last night, and…they even got up at 05:00 to see us off to the airport, which they arranged the transport. It seemed nothing was any trouble for Nalaka and the whole family, we highly recommend coming here. As far as AirB&B goes, these hosts were the best we’ve encountered, and we’ve had a few 😎🙏

This villa is an absolute treasure and it was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was more than we expected and we loved the overall experience. Villa staff made our stay even more enjoyable and they were really nice and helpful with all our questions. Really recommend it.
