After 2 weeks of volunteering, this accommodation was great to come down and relax. The location was really great and Barbara was always on hand to help with recommendations, a bajaji etc. needed. It was a great end to our time in Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

Smukt, privat, roligt. Det perfekte sted at koble fra og glemme hverdagen for en stund. Der er massere af plads til frit at udfolde sig, om man er til træning og yoga, eller hellere vil ligge ved poolen i enten sol eller skygge. Smuk udsigt og gennemført have.

2 weeks in this house was really peaceful and nice. The general manager Mudy and also Anna were very proactive. The house is situated in a very quiet environment and we could walk 15 minutes to Kendwa beach. Otherwise we took moto taxis. I really recommand this place

Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Apartment von Hashim! Die Anweisungen haben alle zugetroffen und ich hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt in Sansibar, Vielen Dank nochmal Hashim. Fumba Town ist etwas abseits von Stone Town, ein sehr privater und sichererer Ort für Gäste. In der Nähe gibt es jedoch einen kleinen Supermarkt wo man Lebensmittel und Krimskrams einkaufen kann. Zudem gibt es nicht weit on derUnterkunft einen kleinen Pool mit Strandvibes. Ein Beach ist leider nicht in der Nähe, doch wenn Mann ein bisschen weiter fährt dann kommt man auch an einen Strand. Mein Dank geht nochmal an Hashim und Abdul unsere Gastgeber. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in bester Lage direkt am Strand. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind sehr gut. Die Terrasse, die bei Flut nur einen Sprung vom Indischen Ozean entfernt ist, ist einzigartig. Wir haben in Jambiani keine andere Unterkunft gesehen, die solch einen privaten Zugang zum Meer bietet. Bei Ebbe kann man sich immer noch in den vorhandenen Whirlpool legen😎 Es gab in den zehn Tagen, die wir vor Ort waren zweimal Stromausfall, dies wurde aber umgehend durch ein Stromaggregat aufgefangen. Hakuna matata! Was unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht hat war Barau, der Manager vor Ort. Er wohnt in der Nachbarschaft, ist immer erreichbar und ein sehr hilfsbereiter, freundlicher und zuvorkommender Mensch. Er kümmert sich sehr gut um seine Gäste und hilft zuverlässig dabei alle Arten von Touren, ob zu Land oder zu Wasser zu organisieren. Außerdem bieten Barau und seine Frau Zuhura sehr gutes authentisches Essen zu absolut erschwinglichen Preisen an. Also unbedingt ausprobieren!

Beautiful, peaceful place to rest in. We enjoyed swimming in the private pool, and the stunning view of the sea. Julia provided us with a cot, a high chair, and even some toys for our son.

If you’re looking for a private beach with white sand and security, this villa is ideal for you. I travel frequently and often book Airbnbs, but this villa truly stands out as the best. It’s incredibly beautiful. The guards, the host, and the staff have all been exceptional. It has exceeded my initial expectations. Calister and her team have been incredibly helpful with everything. The attention to detail and the level of service here make it a remarkable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious getaway. I’m definitely re booking once I visit Zanzibar again.

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

There’s not enough words to describe how great of an experience I had staying at this home. It’s exactly as advertised and the reviews about it told no lies. First of all it’s very clean to the point where you can sleep anywhere in the house and feel right at home. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless with all the amenities you need so if you forget some essentials there’s no need to worry because the house provides it. Our house staff were so responsive to everything we needed. Anything you need just send a quick text message and they will be at your door smiling with everything you desire and ready to assist you in any way possible. I’ve traveled all over there world so when I say this place is first class treatment, I mean it. This is my second trip to DT Villas. I stayed in the house next door last year and I love how this entire property/premises is growing more like a top tier hotel resort every year but instead with rental homes. Nowhere on Zanzibar island is better, trust me

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

Nous sommes restés 15 jours et tout était parfait! Cet endroit est magnifique, les extérieurs sont exceptionnels avec ce jardin de sable blanc, des palmiers de plus de 10 mètres, une piscine idéalement située à mi chemin entre la maison et la mer avec sa plage privée... L'accueil et la disponibilité de Niccolo et de ses équipes ainsi que leurs conseils nous on rendu le séjour très agréable. Nous avons passé 2 semaines au paradis!

Absolute Empfehlung - wunderschönes Ferienhaus, genau wie auf den Fotos abgebildet, richtig toller kleiner Pool (der täglich gereinigt wird), super Ausstattung, wunderbare Terasse auf der wir hauptsächlich gelebt haben. :) Wir waren als Familie mit 10-jährigem Kind hier und haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt. Top Rundum-Betreuung durch Bayuu (Manager), Hunani (Putzfee - mit ihr haben wir u. a. eine super Chilli-Sauce nach einheimischem Rezept gekocht) und Ikram (Pool- und Gartenpflege) sowie den netten Nachtwächtern. Kleine Oase! Unbedingt rausgehen und die Leute und Shops vor Ort besuchen, nicht nur am Strand rumhängen. ;) Jambiani bietet (aktuell noch) eine super Mischung aus Gastroangeboten und kleinen, entspannten Hotels und ganz "normalem" Dorfleben. Bist Du offen und lässt Dich auf "hakuna matata" ein, wirst Du hier eine fantastische Zeit haben. Wir haben uns zu keiner Zeit Sorgen gemacht um die oft erwähnte Kriminalität - auch Abendspaziergänge im Dunkeln waren kein Problem.

Bei unserer Ankunft in Nungwi war eine Straße aufgrund eines Festes gesperrt. Amani war sofort erreichbar und hat uns abgeholt, sodass wir die Unterkunft mit ihm gemeinsam erreichen konnten. Das Zimmer ist sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Besonders die Bank vor der Tür haben wir sehr genossen. Wenn man abends zum Essen draußen sitzen kann und den kühlen Wind genießt. Der Strand ist nur einige Meter entfernt und auch zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten läuft man nicht lange. Es war eine wunderbare Zeit und wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder das Zimmer buchen.

Im Januar besuchten wir Zanzibar (ich zum 4. Mal und hatte zuvor in diversen schönen Unterkünften gewohnt). Die Airborne Kite- und Surfvilla ist ein echtes Juwel in einem wunderschönen Garten/kleinem Dschungel gelegen. Wir fühlten uns gleich herzlich willkommen und auch wie zu Hause. Alles,was wir zum Kochen benötigten,war vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es reichlich und der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Das Team von Jan war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn wir auf der Terrasse saßen,hatten wir oft das Gefühl,wir befinden uns im Zoo.Da gibt es 4 verschmuste Katzen,die uns täglich besuchten (manchmal wollten sich auch 2 weitere dazugesellen😊),ein Perlhuhn,eine Maus (die es immer wieder schaffte,den Katzen zu entkommen),eine Echse (die sich zur Mittagszeit gerne auf den Steinen sonnte),Bushbabys (die wir leider nur hörten),verschiedene Vogelarten,Zikaden….u.v.m.. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Von uns 10 ⭐️ 👍 Anna u. Ines

A little slice of heaven! We had an amazing stay at Elisabetta’s house in early January. The house is right on the gorgeous beach and it looks even better in real life than the pictures. It is very tastefully decorated and has everything you may need during your stay. The bedrooms are large and the covered patio overlooking the beach is absolutely gorgeous. It was great having Abdul to ask for recommendations and Teresa was just the best with cleaning and making us feel right at home. The town of Kiwengwa is small so we booked a few day trips from here and explored the rest of the island. Elisabetta is a wonderful host, extremely friendly and always responsive. She helped make our holiday very comfortable. We will cherish the memories that we made at Casa Di Lilli and would absolutely recommend booking this beautiful house.

We spent a perfect week in this small paradise, everything is made to ensure your stay is smooth and comfortable. It combines the advantage of the Airbnb (privacy, space, private pool) with those of a hotel (very good food, daily cleaning). Internet is fast. Beautiful sunsets. Lots of activities in this area of Zanzibar (caves, kayaking, parks etc). I recommend 100%.

This place is a true gem. Hidden away, it's not the typical Zanzibar tourist spot. In fact, we were the only non-local people in the whole neighbourhood. It felt amazing to shop in the local village micro-shop, get fresh fish and calamari straight from the fish market, enjoy the private beach. If you feel like disconnecting, winding down and relaxing to the fullest - this is your place. And then, when you feel like exploring anything Zanzibar has to offer - you have all the options. Ali, the manager, is gonna be your guide, driver, and will arrange anything you please. We went to Stone Town, to Paje, to one of the spice farms, to the Jozani Forrest, to see the turtles, to go kayaking, spent a day on a boat trip (saw dolphins, went snorkelling, visited the famous sand bank, had lobster and fish on a private island). Ali even arrange for Omar, a private chef, to cook for us one evening. We hope to visit again one day. I highly recommend Nick's place! You will not be disappointed!

Stay here!! This house is absolutely stunning! The photos do not do it justice! I am saving this one for next time! The house is well furnished and equipped with everything you need. The host greeted us upon arrival. She was commutative, offered help/advice when needed. The cleaner came in and cleaned, didn't bother us for anything. The only thing that wasn't perfect was one of the beds was a bit hard but that comes down to personal opinion. I really hope I get to come back some day!! Stay here!

We just had an incredible stay at this beachfront villa in Zanzibar. It an incredibly beautiful location, and the house is spacious and clean. The real star of the property, beside the gorgeous beach is the staff. From the management agency, to the house manager Sule, to Tatu our housekeeper and Fabio the most friendly and warm Maasai guard- everyone made my daughter and I feel right at home. We hired a fantastic chef, Robinson through the agency and he made the best food at our request every day and the cost was reasonable. This is a must book for a peaceful vacation in Zanzibar away from the commercial hotel scene. Thank you Paolo for hosting us!

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.
