Nice and clean. Super close to Hatley Pointe.

We had a wonderful time here. The cabin truly felt like home: very cozy, warm and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. The drive up the hill was a bit challenging, so please don’t think you will get away with a regular vehicle here during the winter months. Definitely need an AWD as mentioned by the owner. We only have positive things to say about this cabin. When we are back to Hatley Point for another ski trip we would love to stay here again! Highly recommended. Thank you for hosting us!

This house is in a great location if you’re going to Hatley Pointe! We enjoyed the house! One thing I wish I would’ve known is that you have to take the trash 10 minutes (20 minutes round trip) down the mountain to the dump. Make sure to factor that into your checkout timing!

A rustic retreat in the mountains! The deck, views and hot tub were as relaxing as described, and would definitely come back to explore more hiking. Proximity to Hatley Pointe was ideal for our ski trip and the fireplace was perfect to warm up after a day on the slopes.

Beautiful stay for our family for an impromptu ski trip. Absolutely nothing about the accommodation was disappointing. Mostly exceeded expectations. Borderline magical experience for our little family. Already talking about coming back!

The house was very well appointed and suited my family's needs. The neighborhood was quiet and the location offered good privacy. The community hosts were very friendly and made some excellent restaurant recommendations. The amenities were nice and as described. The location was a little further than expected from hikes and outdoor activities but nothing that affected our stay.

This place was just what we needed, so cozy on the inside and peaceful with the stream right next to you on the outside , the hot tub was great. Jennifer is a sweet responsive host. Highly recommend

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin the woods! There was so much to do at the house that our boys never wanted to leave. The house was well stocked and we took advantage of the nearby playground, tennis courts, and fishing. The only bummer was that the ski resort had closed for the season and we didn't know that until which we drove to the mountain for our rentals. This has nothing to do with the hosts, but make sure to check in with Hatley Pointe to make sure they're open if you're traveling to Mars Hill for skiing!

Holly was very welcoming and so sweet once we arrived and check in was a breeze. We loved the cabin and the location next to the creek. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed. We loved sitting next to the creek during the day and having a bonfire at night. We went to several waterfalls and hikes not far from the cabin. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone going to the area.

Our host were great. Made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our family vacation. We had to book this last minute because another place didn’t work out. This wasn’t a problem- we were able to book and drive straight over. This really relieved a stressful situation. Thanks!

The cabin had all the amenities you could need for a peaceful week in the mountains. It was within 10 minutes of the Appalachian Trail and an easy drive into Asheville for a day of shopping. For the cold snowy spring day, we cozied up by the fireplace, made some chili in the Instant Pot, and watched movies. The bedding was clean and beds comfortable, and we all caught up on some much needed sleep!

This is the cutest cabin! Very private. I was very comfortable and felt secure with the gate at the bottom of the driveway. Lots of trails in the area and spots to park and explore. 10 minutes or go to the grocery store and restaurants. I’ve stayed at 2 of Michael’s properties and I w loved them both. Will stay here again in the future!

What a wonderful riverside community!!

We enjoyed our stay. The space was very clean and accommodating to our family as we stayed for the weekend. It was warm and cozy as it snowed overnight. The downstairs area was the main attraction for the kids. Will keep this place in mind the next time we return to the mountains for sure!

The home was beautiful, plenty of room for my friends and I. The house was super clean, stocked well, it truly made us feel right at home. The pool table was an added bonus as it gave us something to do at night. Darrel was a great host, very communicative and helpful, he even had the snow plow come to plow the driveway. The ONLY issue we ran into (which was no fault of Darrel) was there isn’t really anything to do or eat on the mountain. We didn’t do much research prior to the trip and did not stop by the grocery store, we were left very hungry after skiing. Other than that, this home is amazing and I appreciate Darrel allowing us to stay in his home!

Hands down the best Air BNB experience I have ever had traveling as a family!

This cozy cabin was perfect for a last minute get away with my partner! We needed to get out of the city and find a quiet place to relax. At the end of the weekend we didn’t want to leave. This cabin has everything you need to feel right at home. Location is private and not too far from Asheville for a fun day trip. Andrew was very responsive and gave clear instructions from the home itself as well as its surroundings. An unexpected storm knocked out the power for a few hours and Andrew came to check in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely love to come back!

We had great experience all around. Host responds to messages and accepted our request in a very timely manner. The cabin was very clean, smelled fresh and easy to navigate with the instructions provided. It’s the perfect size for two people. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances needed to cook some simple meals and everything you need to start a fire outside. I loved the extra touches they added to make the cabin feel even more homey and relaxing including robes, face mask, and everything you need to make a coffee. The view from our cabin was beautiful. The cabins are close together yet feel secluded and peaceful. Asheville is within a reasonable drive if you chose to spend a day shopping(about 1 hour away). There was a lot of visible damage from the hurricane in October 2024 on the sides of the roads as we passed through many towns but we did not have any problems with road closures. This was the perfect weekend getaway.

This was an incredibly cute spot with a nice view! Very clean and an incredible location for skiing at hatley pointe! Would definitely stay here again!!

If you look up southern hospitality, you’re likely to find pictures of Chuck and Valda. They make you feel like family as soon as you meet them. Their whole property is fantastic. Next time we are in Flag Pond, we know where we will be staying!

We stayed at this tiny cabin over the weekend for a friend's wedding nearby and it was the perfect location! Easy to get to and Jennifer was quick to respond and was very helpful when we needed it. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a small cozy spot to hang out in!
