This was an amazing stay and perfect after a long day of travel. I really enjoyed using the jacuzzi bathtub and the delicious homemade zucchini bread. I would stay again!

This was our third stay, needless to say we love this place and would come back again. Carl and Alec are amazing hosts knows a lot about the area and has great recommendations. It is close to all the surrounding attractions and not far away from major ones Asheville, Virginia. It is quaint. It is not bougie. It is just big enough for what we need and I love that Carl always has some goodies in the fridge so you don’t have to rush right out or worry about bringing that with you, and he doesn’t charge pet deposits or a cleaning fee which I think he deserves both kudos to Carl and Alec

We had the best weekend getaway here. The place was so peaceful and Ryan was amazing. We will definitely be back and I’d recommend this one to anyone

This place is amazing! We weee 2 families staying there and there was more than enough room for everyone. The property is beautiful, I could have hiked there for days. It is about 2 hours away from all sorts of attractions in different directions such as Gatlinburg, Beech mountain and more. The property care taker, Rob was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. Overall, our stay was a huge success and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Absolutely wonderful time away from home. The home was spotless upon our arrival. The location was so easy to get to and beautiful as described. We saw deer the first night but they did not show up the second night, even though we waited quietly on the beautiful deck for hours. The most amazing thing was the home was completely stocked with everything you can think of. Check in and check out both were so easy. There was a "General Store" not far from the home that provided you a few grocery items if needed. Honestly, we brought things to cook and really did not have to leave for anything at all. Very quiet location and very relaxing. Thank you Tammie for a beautiful place to spend the weekend!

This house has an amazing view. My family loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunset. Everything was clean and the host provided bath towel and beach towels for the hot tub. My family had a great time at this house.

Paul was so quick to respond to any questions I had. He was also very friendly and helpful. Heavens Gate, WOW, the name says it all. The cabin is so beautiful and very well decorated. When you first walk in, you're on the second floor. There's large sliding doors that lead outside to the deck that has the most amazing views of the lake. It is truly breathtaking! They have a very well equipped kitchen. It has a regular pot & a K-cup maker which came in handy. There are games, tv, great wifi and an awesome hot tub! The hot tub was hot and clean. We quickly unpacked, made a mimosa and jumped right in. That view, also amazing! The Wifi worked outside to play tunes while we soaked in the tub & amazing views. The road was scary for this FL girl, but you do get use to it. Also deer walked around the house and we saw an eagle. The beds were super cozy and there were plenty of dressers to unpack. The master shower was so nice. I can go on and on... just book it, you will not regret it!

This was a beautiful place to stay, in a very secluded location with stunning views. It was the perfect getaway for our honeymoon. The host was extremely responsive, even answering the phone late at night when we arrived and needed assistance. You will 100% need 4WD/AWD to make it to the property, but the hosts have a vehicle you can use. It is a bit of a haul to get back to “civilization” for things like groceries and restaurants, but if you’re looking for a place to show down and feel like the only people for miles like us, book your stay here!

Great space! Very CLEAN. Beautiful location. Adam was very responsive to questions. Home is private and picturesque yet a short drive to downtown Weaverville and Asheville. The home WiFi uses older encryption (TKIP) but I was able to use my cellphone as a hotspot for school/work. Personal devices connected to the WiFi fine. Both AT&T and Verizon cellular networks have strong signal here. This was minor and did not deter from our enjoyment of the residence or the trip itself. We had a wonderful time, and would return.

Great place for a trip with a group of friends easy 20 minute drive to Hatley Pointe for skiing. The pictures don’t do this place justice it is much larger in person.

This was the perfect place to getaway for a few days! It provided us with peace and privacy, while also being super close to Asheville for fun activities. The home was clean and cozy. It was perfect for what we were wanting. Alex made the whole process easy. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time here. The cabin truly felt like home: very cozy, warm and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. The drive up the hill was a bit challenging, so please don’t think you will get away with a regular vehicle here during the winter months. Definitely need an AWD as mentioned by the owner. We only have positive things to say about this cabin. When we are back to Hatley Point for another ski trip we would love to stay here again! Highly recommended. Thank you for hosting us!

This house is in a great location if you’re going to Hatley Pointe! We enjoyed the house! One thing I wish I would’ve known is that you have to take the trash 10 minutes (20 minutes round trip) down the mountain to the dump. Make sure to factor that into your checkout timing!

A rustic retreat in the mountains! The deck, views and hot tub were as relaxing as described, and would definitely come back to explore more hiking. Proximity to Hatley Pointe was ideal for our ski trip and the fireplace was perfect to warm up after a day on the slopes.

Had a great time at this cabin. Loved the layout of the home and how thoughtful the hosts are in terms of amenities (e.g., toiletries, cleaning supplies, cookware/dishes). Enjoyed all the space and had a great view of the ski slope! Would absolutely stay here again.

The house was very well appointed and suited my family's needs. The neighborhood was quiet and the location offered good privacy. The community hosts were very friendly and made some excellent restaurant recommendations. The amenities were nice and as described. The location was a little further than expected from hikes and outdoor activities but nothing that affected our stay.

we loved the home. the porch was wonderful with all the amenities. my only concern was the railing going upstairs could have been different.

Our stay at Copper Sky was perfect! The cabin was not only everything we hoped for, but the host clearly went above and beyond to make the home extra special. The little touches meant so much to us and was comfortable for our whole family. We made many memories to remember for a long time! The host communicated clearly and kindly whenever we had questions. Our favorite things were: hiking big bald, fishing in the pond, enjoying the hot tub, s’mores on the back deck, enjoying the peaceful surrounding/property, cooking family meals & all the wildlife viewing. We would be lucky to be able to stay again!
