Laura is an amazing host who treats her guests so well! She really has thought of everything and goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome and at home. Her home is absolutely beautiful, and the surroundings are so relaxing and peaceful. This is our favorite place to stay in Missouri!

We had an lovely, but eventful stay at Keith and Becky’s! Keith let us check in early due to severe storms in the area, and when the tornado warning came through, Keith offered his home to us as shelter until the warning passed. We were all safe but with no power until the morning. That was no problem for us, as we lit some candles and opened up the windows and listened to the rain outside all night while we slept. It was the perfect ending to our girls trip in southern Illinois. Keith was very responsive at all times and made sure we had the best and safest stay possible! The location is beautiful, and we will absolutely be back!

We were surprised by the amenities and care that Mary took to get the place ready for our stay. She had all the essentials in case you missed packing something and more. She was very responsive when we asked for dinner recommendations. The cabin is right at the entrance to Godwin trail and 1.5 miles from the cross. It is walking distance to the cross as well.

This place was nothing short of amazing! Plenty of room in the living room for great conversations and plenty of kitchen appliances for cooking any meal you would like! It was very peaceful and the ponds surrounding the house are beautiful. The host was responsive and helped when I needed her. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay and if I could, I would stay here again!

Jessica’s space was perfect for our girls weekend. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. The kitchen had everything you could need, I loved the large bathroom, the bedrooms were good sized and the beds were comfy. We took advantage of the outdoor seating each morning with our coffee. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a truly magical location that offers a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. It's easy to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature right on the property through forest bathing, and it's also conveniently located near state parks, as well as various food and drink options. Bonnie and Paul have created a stunning, private space where I felt completely safe as a solo traveler, knowing they lived nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return in the future.

We came to town for a concert, then enjoyed the rest of the weekend at the cabin. This was our first Airbnb stay and our hosts were great with instructions one how to get in, and how to work the outdoor electronics. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub!

Adams Rock cabin was a great home base for our Shawnee trip! The place looks exactly as pictured/described. We appreciated the Native American decor as well as informative books in the cabin. The location is not super remote, but the large yard was perfect for our kids and dog to play and just enjoy being outside. We particularly enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the fire pit! For others traveling with kids, it is worth knowing that the loft bedroom is up a steep ladder without any particularly good way to block the ladder at the bottom or top. The kitchen was equipped with necessities but not a lot of extras. If you’re planning to pack picnic lunches for your hikes, make sure to bring storage containers! Overall, we had a wonderful stay, appreciated all of Mary’s helpful communication, and really enjoyed exploring a new-to-us part of the country!
