Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

This is a great place to stay don’t even hesitate to book this place. The place looks more better in person I am not exaggerating and Katy is a great host she records everyone’s experiences in a book which is someone unique I have seen until now. She’s responsive, helpful and very understanding host. Thank you ! For this wonderful stay we started out new year 2025 at Katy’s place and it was amazing

This place is a gem! Anthony was a wonderful, friendly host. The property was clean, modern, and spacious. Remote enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to necessary amenities (like groceries), and just under and hour drive to Acadia National Park! Wouldn't hesitate to consider rebooking for a trip in the future!

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful restored farm house with enough room for 4 adults and 3 kids for a family getaway! We were able to cook dinners with a very well equipped kitchen and enjoy the fire pit in the backyard with incredible sunsets. Our kids loved the hike to the river on the property and our family really enjoyed spending a day at the Coastal botanical gardens which was only a few minutes drive away from the house!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. The host was very helpful and friendly, our dogs were welcome and overall we had a wonderful experience. They offered early check-in, the place was clean, kitchen was well equipped, and everything was very comfortable. Highly recommend

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful property! We had a group stay for spring skiing. The house was more than spacious enough for us all. Was an easy ride to Sugarloaf. We had a fire outside and enjoyed the hot tub. A couple of friends actually took a plunge in the freezing cold river. Who could resist with it right in the backyard! Will absolutely be back again! Great host and house

Valle and David were the perfect hosts and we had an amazing stay. We also got to use the hot tub which was such a treat in the cold weather. Dave and Valle went above and beyond - from leaving little chocolates treats for us to enjoy upon check-in, to very thoughtfully offering to extend our stay for a few hours until the roads cleared out from a the overnight snow storm. Thank you Valle and Dave!

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Delightful place to stay in Portlands West end. It is easy walking distance to everywhere…. downtown and even the East side. Great restaurants in the neighborhood from breakfast to dinner. The apartment was immaculate and was stocked with just about everything you’d need. The shared yard was charming and felt very private. We have family in the area and I hope we can stay there again and again. It was much more comfortable than a B & B. Lorie was very responsive to anything you might need.

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! We loved staying at Heidi’s place! We were a little concerned about parking on the street (we had to bring two cars) and we were always able to find a space within a block or two (small blocks) so it worked out great. The place was cozy and comfortable. The bed was a little awkward getting in at first, but we quickly figured it out and it wasn’t problem. Great location and extremely walkable to fun shops and restaurants right on Mumjoy Hill or down along the bustling Washington Ave, an easy walk away. Heidi was responsive and friendly and used her “artists touch” to decorate a lovely place

I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. If I’m ever back in the area, I would certainly love to stay here again!

Lori’s place felt like a home away from home. The apartment was bigger than we expected with beautiful furnishings and built-ins. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked making it easy to cook meals with ingredients from Pat’s Meat Market a block away. Noble Pizza is also not to be missed.

Enjoyed my stay while I was there. You get a great sense of privacy!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We booked over Christmas. Jacki reached out to me just after I booked to see if my family celebrated Christmas and if so, would we like some decorations put up. I replied yes. When we arrived there was a decorated tree and some other decorations throughout. It was really nice. It is wonderful that they are dog friendly, they even have dog dishes there. Our Great Dane was with us. My whole family agreed that if the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely go back.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We had a regular wear and tear issue with one of the appliances but the issue was resolved quickly and the hosts went above and beyond to make the inconvenience right. Overall the stay was relaxing and well worth it. I would definitely return to this cabin.

This was our 4th stay at the cabin. If you need a break from your busy life, this is the perfect place for you. The cabin is always clean, welcoming, and tranquil. It is a great place to enjoy peace and quiet. The wood stove is awesome for the cold months and makes the cabin even more cozy. The views are amazing, no matter the time of year. We can't wait to go back again soon.

What a wonderful weekend away! We absolutely loved how cozy the cabin was. The local coffee was delicious, especially for our little walk on the trails to the river. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing time away in the woods. Super close to Sugarloaf and Saddleback mountains. Great spot near Mt blue pond. Has mostly everything you need at the shack. I would have packed lighter if I knew it was fully stocked. But it’s good to know for next time. There are neighbors on one side divided by a huge fence. Shack was cozy, clean and peaceful. It was so nice of Alexandra to let us use the kayak! It was awesome! Kids had a blast!

Larry and Lisa were so nice and friendly! The property was cozy and peaceful and the perfect place to relax. Any questions we had, Larry was available to answer almost immediately. Loved seeing the deer at night too. Thank you for a great stay!

A great private place to stay when visiting Acadia! Only about 40 minutes away from Bar Harbor.
