Our family had a wonderful time at Larissa’s farm. Our three kids loved working on the farm - learning, contributing, and being outside - and Larissa is just such a kind person who was super patient with the kids. The apartment was great, everything you need for a short stay, and was just what we were looking for, clean and well-kept. Larissa provides a ton of info about stores and restaurants and activities nearby, and we just had such a fantastic and relaxing time. Highly recommend!

Gail was commutative and helpful! The cabin barn was beautifully decorated, quaint, and cozy. The outhouse was clean and a short walk from the cabin. We didn’t use the shower or bath tub but they looked lovely. The heated mattress covers kept us warm at night. Overall a beautiful and convenient place to stay!

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

I stayed at Katherine's during renovations on my house in a nearby town. I appreciated her flexibility and the fact that she also accommodated my dogs as the experience has been challenging for all of us. The location of Katherine's property is easy to find and very close to Brattleboro for most things you would need during your stay.

We stayed at Enoch Farms on short notice and needed a dog friendly place with enough beds for our group. The Barn was perfect! The beds were comfy and the location was great. Karen was kind enough to allow us to check out late which really helped! Thanks for letting us stay!

Whiskey River was amazing. The barn itself is set up so beautifully! There is lots to do and if you don’t want anything to do there are very many ways to relax. We loved sitting outside and taking in the view and getting to see all the surrounding animals. We also really enjoyed having dinner at the dining table downstairs in the barn with the barn doors open. It was the relaxing break we needed. Whiskey River will hold a special place in my heart not only for the hospitality and beauty but because my partner and I got engaged during our stay! I could not have asked for a better place to get engaged and really get to enjoy each other’s company :) thank you both so much for a memorable stay!

Frances keeps raising the Airbnb bar for us! We have previously stayed in the A-Frame on the property and had deemed that our fave Airbnb of all time; now the “barn” (and its blend of historic touches and thoughtful comforts) has now moved into top spot!

Outstanding in all ways! The barn was a perfect, rustic, beautiful, artsy and inspiring getaway. The property was made for discovery and magical for the little ones and the grownups. We loved everything about it..hope to come back with friends soon. Thank you!

Hilary was amazing and so accommodating! The place was absolutely beautiful and there was so much to do on the property me and my girls had an absolutely blast! We were also pleasantly surprised to see the place was much bigger than we thought it’d be based off the photos! Animals were all very friendly as well! 10/10 Hope to get to come back!

My husband and I were looking for a place to have a very relaxing weekend. Lori’s place was just the place for it. Lori was a great host! She was very friendly and helpful. She recommended a few places for us to visit. Lori responded very quickly to our message needing help with getting on Netflix. The apartment was very neat and clean. The kitchen had everything that was needed to cook meals. The morning sun rise was beautiful! We would definitely like to visit Lori’s place again!

Our stay at The Barn Owl was wonderful! The space was super clean, incredibly cozy, and beautifully designed - everything about it felt warm and inviting. It had all the amenities exactly as described and everything in and outside the house was easy and simple to use. One of our favorite parts was the hot tub and grill area, which was set up in a way that felt completely secluded and private, not facing the road at all. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The check-in and check-out process was effortless, and Rachel was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. We definitely recommend staying here!

Thomas and Beth were wonderful hosts! The layout of the house was perfect for our family - very well thought out. The house was cozy, welcoming, and peaceful. You can tell Thomas and Beth have poured a lot of love into this home!

Lovely private space that comfortably accommodated my family of four. The home was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. The host was responsive and made our stay seamless. Highly recommend!

The barn was exactly as described. Check in was easy and everything was clean and organized. Next time we're in the area we will stay if available. Bonus the owner is a Dream Theater fan. You can't beat that :-)

We travelled “back home” for a funeral with a group of 9 from toddlers to seniors. It met the needs of all ages. There was plenty of space for family to gather around the fantastic kitchen island and fireplace areas while providing private spaces for all to retreat as needed. This little nook in the middle of the woods was amazing very peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable. Everything you can possibly need is provided by the host. Can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely amazing. Definitely visiting again.

Dans place was a great place to stay while on your business trip. We would definitely book our stay at Dans place if ever in the area again.

This is our fourth time coming here, and it’s been incredible every single year. We love having Thanksgiving here with our best friends, and this location is perfect for our growing families!

Owner was responsive to all questions in a short timeframe. House has a really nice layout with all of the bedrooms to the side and a large family area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay was absolutely immaculate! The house was spotless, comfortable, and filled with activities for all ages, making it perfect whether we wanted to stay in or venture out. The location was ideal—a short drive to the city but tucked away enough to feel like a true getaway. The animals were a huge hit with the kids, and the entire atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Kirsten went above and beyond, reaching out beforehand to recommend local activities tailored to our family. It truly felt like we were visiting family friends rather than just renting a place. Our kids even call it their “Washington house,” and we’re already planning to make this an annual trip. We were also lucky enough to meet their children, who were incredibly sweet and made us feel even more at home. If you’re looking for a clean, cozy, and family-friendly retreat, this is it!

A beautiful apartment, large, warm and so comfortable. The horses and sheep were fun to watch and I haven’t gotten to relax like I did there for years!

Absolutely beautiful place! It was spotless, everything is labeled and/or includes instructions, and it was very peaceful. I hope to make a trip back again!
