Great little spot very quiet and comfortable

A little tricky to find entrance gate at first, but speedy response. Property is really a small group of luxury villas and "apartments." Two sloths typically hang out on property. Luxury resort farther down the road. Everything was magical. One of the best Air BnB properties I've ever stayed in.

Our stay at the farm was wonderful! The farm is charming with horses, chickens, cows, and puppies. Meylin and Bernard are friendly hosts and gave us great ideas of where to eat and enjoy our time here. The house is gorgeous and has all the amenities. The hot tub is perfect on the deck looking out on a lovely stream. We had a few small issues and Meylin was supportive and fixed it right away. Highly recommend a stay here.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We loved the garden, hot tub and bbq area. Amilcar and his wife were so friendly and helpful a during our stay. It’s a perfect place for a couple or a four person trip. The internet was excellent, we worked online all week with no issues. Thank you to Amilcar for your hospitality! We will be back :)

Thank you for a wonderful stay outside of La Fortuna. Accommodations were fabulous. Air worked well, chef was amazing, and space was exactly as described. There is a reason this home has so many y 5 star reviews. Magdalena is always responsive immediately and available for any needs. Highly recommend!

Great place and amazing hosts! They also assisted to get little props and a cake to help me surprised my fiancee!

We LOVED this Airbnb. I thought it was even more attractive than the photos online. Felt peaceful, yet the lively town of La Fortuna only a few minutes away. I wish we had more time to spend here and would happily stay again if in the area. Highly recommend!

Host was great, easy, accommodating. Place was clean, pleasant , comfortable. Easy to find, close to town, pretty setting. We enjoyed our stay, highly recommended!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits et nous avons été très satisfait de la maison. Tout était parfait et bien équipé. L'hôte nous a bien reçu avec des petits détails pour nous faire sentir les bienvenus. Elle a pris le temps de nous expliquer les choses à faire dans la région et ce fut très apprécié. Je recommande ce logement sans hésiter. Merci pour le beau séjour.

We hebben een top verblijf gehad! Bij aankomst rook het huisje gewoon fris en was heel schoon. De omgeving was prachtig! Ik informeerde of de host toevallig wist waar ik toekans en luiaarden kon spotten in het wild en toen heeft hij meteen zijn moeder gecontacteerd of zij ons hier bij wilde helpen. Ook zij was zeer lief en attent! De plek ligt heel afgelegen, dus een auto is gewoon noodzakelijk. Zonder vervoer is dit niet te doen. Ook lag er een menu kaart van een restaurant in de buurt. Zij hadden zo'n goed eten en voor een zeer goede prijs, dat wij hier dagelijks gegeten hebben. Al met al is het gewoon een top verblijf geweest. Nogmaals bedankt!

Ich habe mich in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Fenster rund um das Bett mit Blick in den Wald waren mein Highlight. Nur schade, dass die Bäume inzwischen so hoch sind, dass man nicht, wie auf den Fotos, den Vulkan vom Bett aus sehen kann. Die Unterkunft war mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Nur der Kühlschrank hatte leider einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch.

Wunderschöner Platz mitten in der paradiesischen Natur. Gute Lage für Ausflüge zum Rio Celeste (mit Auto ca. 20 Minuten). Lady zauberte uns ein leckeres Frühstück und Brandon gab uns reichlich gute stieß für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. schöner Hike nicht weit weg von der Unterkunft. Wir haben es dort sehr genossen... vor allem die Abende auf der Terrasse . Wir kommen gerne wieder

It is very off the beaten path, but we knew that when we booked. I did feel like it was safe. The road in was fine for us without four wheel drive but it didn’t rain hard while we were there. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Pure Trek/Hot Springs area. This is the only downside. We would do our activities for the day and go back for the night. Lara’s Food in Chachagua has great fried chicken! The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting was worth the drive for us. Irene has added many thoughtful touches in and around the house. We didn’t see sloths or toucans on the property, but we learned on guided tours that we aren’t very good at spotting them! We did see lots of lizards, including a big basilisk, and bullfrogs around the pool at night, and heard and saw lots of birds. We also saw tiny bats that were so cute! The river, birds, and insects make the most enchanting surrounding. It’s a wonderful place!

El lugar es simplemente hermoso, tranquilo, cerca de comercios, camino en excelente condiciones y fácil de llegar. Estamos deseando regresar a comer tortillas con queso ❤️

This lovely, hand-built cabin is nestled among small fields of fruit and vegetables, flowering trees and lush forest. It was clean, quiet and private. Our peaceful mornings were filled with colorful song birds (lots of hummingbirds). This space is delightfully simple but perfect for exploring the area and getting a taste for Pura Vida! Edgar, the host was responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations for local restaurants. A whole pineapple and bananas were on the counter upon our arrival and were delicious. Costa Rica is early to bed early to rise, as the birds, frogs and bugs are up singing their morning song. I am not an early riser normally but I was asleep early (sun sets at 6pm) and bounding out of bed for coffee in the hammock out back. Would highly recommend this stay if you prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle. It is about 30 minute drive to La Fortuna/Arenal parks.

Un peu loin de tout, cabane très confortable (même de l'eau chaude, contrairement à la description), avec une petite terrasse sur le lac qui permet de déjeuner en compagnie d'un colibri ou des poissons. Très bien indiqué, super pour être au calme ! nous recommandons !

Excelente lugar muy cómodo y acogedor definitivamente de los alojamientos donde volveré a ir, super tranquilo mucha naturaleza y el anfitrión muy atento.

Gerardo’s place was amazing. I’m so happy we booked here instead of somewhere in La Fortuna town. The interior design was beautiful and we loved the large tub. The bed was super comfortable and we loved how tranquil the area was. Lots of privacy and perfect for a romantic getaway. Even better than the photos!

Beautiful place with all the necessities

This is our second time back at this air bnb and we could not be happier. The breakfast provided by the abuela and abuelo is absolutely delicious and worth every penny. The host is responsive and helpful with any and all questions and you can tell there is a lot of care put into these cute cabins and beautiful surroundings. This is a place we will continue to come back to for years to come.

Very Beautiful property, I thought having host on property maybe overwhelming but not the case at all..your own privacy. I highly recommend this place if u want to chill in a natural peaceful place. Ducks and puppy's are awesome also.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach traumhaft. Die perfekte Unterkunft, um inmitten der Natur abzuschalten. Sie ist über eine kurze Schotterpiste gut mit dem Auto erreichbar (4x4 ist nicht nötig). Vor Ort wurden wir herzlich von den Gastgebern empfangen. Katherine führte uns zum angrenzenden Dschungelpfad, wo sie uns ein Faultier mit Baby zeigte. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Pool und Außendusche waren echte Highlights. Am ersten Abend bestellten wir Dinner und Frühstück bei Katherine. Beides war köstlich, besonders das Porridge können wir wärmstens empfehlen. An den restlichen Tagen kochten wir selbst. Flora und Fauna ließen sich wunderbar von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Das Bett war sehr bequem und wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Am letzten Abend fiel das W-LAN (Anbieterproblem) aus. Cristopher bot uns als Entschuldigung ein kostenloses Frühstück an! Liebe Katherine, Cristopher und Familie: Vielen Dank, dass wir Gäste in eurem kleinen Paradies sein durften!
