Our group of extended family had a great stay at the Zen village. The kids were so entertained by the pool, plenty of space to explore. We milked the cow one morning. It feels like a rainforest treehouse and an experience like no other. Juan was so helpful and even helped us change a flat tire on a Sunday! Mario ordered our pizza from Pizza Ranch to be delivered upon arrival for our first night when we were too tired to cook or drive into town. We cooked two family dinners on the big pavilion which felt super special and private. Can’t say enough good about it. This Airbnb is an experience in itself, and a little oasis for coming to and from adventures. The only negative - thin blankets and pillows.

Our group of 8 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at Allan & Jorge’s villa, and it exceeded all our expectations. The villa offered the perfect balance of privacy and a shared space, ideal for our group. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with our hosts was seamless. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of fruit and drinks. Thank you, Allan & Jorge!

The hot jacuzzi and community pool with a stunning volcano view were highlights of our stay. Two friendly cats visited, adding charm. The comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen were great, though we had to refill the water filter and ice tray. The open kitchen window brought in fresh air, and the spacious bathroom was beautifully designed. The outdoor seating area was lovely, and the gated community made us feel secure. The plants offered privacy, and a 5-star restaurant was a short walk away. The air conditioning in the master bedroom occasionally turned off, but the shower had warm water, and using the detachable head made it hotter. We saw a few ants and maggots, but expected it in Costa Rica. The working dryer was perfect for drying our shoes. This house was ideal for our 3-person girls’ trip, and we’d highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

We had read that a lot of people had wished they had stayed in La Fortuna their whole stay so we decided to do all 7 days there and we were happy we did! So much to do and see and the accommodations were wonderful. Thank you!!!

WOW!!!! What a great place to stay in La Fortuna for all of your adventures in the area. It's close to town without all the noise and things that come with being in the middle of a town. It's an easy walk to town and great restaurants and shops. The La Fortuna rope swing is a five minute walk and I spent a lot of time in that peaceful river. Camilo is an incredible host. He picked me up from San Jose and brought me directly to the Airbnb. He made recommendations for day trip adventures and drove me to them and picked me up. I had a spectacular massage on site by Maribel. They created a beautiful oasis in the backyard for the massage with white netting, candles, & music. It was glorious! The views of Arenal volcano from the property are incredible. Did I mention that everything is spotless! I could see myself in the tile floors,!! I hated to leave and will definitely be back again.

We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

We loved how close to town we were but still seemed private and secluded! The area was calm and quiet we loved having breakfast outside our cabin! The area surrounding was stunning the inside was spotless !!! We also met their friendly little kitten! Place was awesome can’t stop thinking about it can’t wait for the next time we are in La Fortuna.!

Milton went above and beyond to make our Pura Vida experience the ultimate! He was quick to respond, brought us fresh cantaloupe and cut us fresh coconut off the trees and opened them for us. The pool was a little oasis, the property was gorgeous and talking to him and his wife they built and created the whole thing, impressive! Their 2 dogs would come and visit - so cute, their 2 peacocks would come as well and we got lots of looks at the 2-3 resident iguanas, ducks and roosters. Across the road they were doing work on a house and the latin music would waft across and we loved how it added to the vibe! We love a non-touristy experience, and that it was. Only saw locals in “town” and all were welcoming and nice. The ONLY issue we had… we would look up restaurantes and sodas to go eat at and they would be non-existent or closed (more of a google maps problem ;) No worries, just cooked rice, beans, and plantains at home in the well stocked kitchen. We HIGHLY recommend this place!!!
