We were staying in Marathon City for skiing at Granite Peak. It was the perfect spot for my girlfriend and I during our weekend away. The house is well appointed and was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essential cooking supplies and the rooms were outfitted with plenty of extra towels and blankets. The king size bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We also appreciated the little decorations that made the place feel special. It was very convenient to have garage parking as well during the winter so no need to shovel snow off the car (we were there during a mini snowstorm that came through overnight). The host was very responsive and was quick to help us take care of a little issue we had with the WiFi one night. All in all a great place that I would recommend for couples as well as small families. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Granite Peak.

Our family had a great time. It was plenty of room for our family of 6. The place was clean and an easy drive into town for venturing out or groceries. We spent most of our time at the cabin. The lake was a little mucky but that didn’t seem to bother my kids. I would definitely stay again. The only things were that I wish I would have known they didn’t have kids size life jackets - not a huge deal though. The other was that the boats weren’t in the best shape. The spiders had taken them over so it took a couple hours to get them cleaned out and set up. Other then that, it was a nice quiet lake with a ton of deer around. We all had a great time.

The lake view and peaceful setting were great. We went out in the canoe and we were the only ones on the water. Also, loved the jacuzzi!

This place exceeded expectations. Even thought it’s a shared outdoor space it still felt very private and like no one else was around. The house is spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed my stay. Nice touch with basket of snacks and toiletries. She even shoveled out my car twice, which I greatly appreciated!!

This place was the perfect "home base" for us while visiting our family in Chatham. I panicked a bit when I realized that I had booked a place with no Air Conditioning on a blazing hot weekend in the U.P. but it was not a problem at all. The house sits under big, shady trees and they had a window A/C unit upstairs plus lots of ceiling fans. It was a peaceful quiet, clean, and comfortable stay. We will book again!

This was a lovely stay for our family of 4 plus friends for the kids. The property is beautiful and well kept with everything you could need. On a quiet end of the lake. The lake was clear and cool. Such a great week! Host responded so quickly when air conditioner wasn’t working well and got it fixed by early next morning. Would definitely go back.

When we arrived we were so pleased with the space! It was beautiful and the quality of the home was apparent. The views were spectacular. The area was quite private and secluded; just what we were looking for. The space was perfectly sized and appointed for our group. We were disappointed by the following things, which we shared with the owner bc we couldn’t tell if it was a disrespectful guest, or things that had been overlooked by a cleaner. We discovered a broken plate placed carefully under the other dishes; coffee grinds and water in the coffee maker; and a multitude of dirty dishes, including pans, bowls, glasses, silverware, and plates. Again, this is not necessarily the owners fault, but for the cost, we wanted to be sure they knew how we found things bc we didn’t expect to have to wash all of our dishes before using them! We were careful to follow all checkout rules and leave the space neat and tidy. Can’t beat the beautiful sunsets and views.

My husband and I visited Lake Ann, Traverse City and Leland over the weekend along with our daughter and son-in-law. The place was ideal for us. It was as described and so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The sofa is a pullout, but it had an auto inflate air mattress rather than the old uncomfortable mattress. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. We would absolutely stay there again!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Perfect location for our girls’ weekend! This is our second year staying here and we would definitely stay here in the future. Great location! Very easy to walk to downtown Traverse City. Clean and comfortable. Stacey is very helpful and responsive.

Stay was great, last minute weekend trip. Apartment was cheaper than local hotels…. Location is right on the main strip walking distance to restaurants and shops. Worked for what we needed.

Wonderful place for the right price! We’ve stayed here for the last 5 years under various owners/hosts via AirBnB and it’s always been perfect. Great rates under the new owner and a huge space, especially if it’s just a couple like us. Great private pool for this building that we never had to share and right next to the Lakeview hotel and Shanty Bar for food and drinks. Huge points for the wood burning fireplace and abundance of firewood. Host is responsive, but also left us completely alone unless we reached out which we appreciate. 10/10 would stay again! Best AirBnB on Shanty Creek Property!

The location makes all of downtown Traverse City walkable. Groceries, entertainment, the river and the bay all easy to get to. It's a wonderful space. Parking can get tight.

We were looking last minute to go to Boyne for the weekend with just 4 of us but by the time we arrived we had 4 young Children and 3 more adults. The place was perfect for our crew. Everyone slept well and the location was great as it was walking distance to the hill. Thanks Carrie for being so flexible and hospitable for our stay. We will be back!

We had a great time and the location was perfect! Walkable to the ski slopes gave us the flexibility to come and go as we needed! Great space to hang out after a long day of skiing and full kitchen made meals easier! Had a wonderful time and would recommend!

Surprisingly quiet area given proximity to hospital. Walkable to downtown.

Carrie was extremely accommodating and very easy to get ahold of. I highly recommend staying at this location it was an easy walk to stores and restaurants!
