This property is not to be missed if you want a private, peaceful getaway on a beautiful sand beach. The weather we enjoyed was perfect and the sunrises and sunsets were beyond AMAZING!! At night, the stars lit up the sky as we sat on the beach by the firepit and just relaxed while reviewing our day. There is a grocery store and some restaurants in Manistique for food, about a 12-15 minute drive. Nice central location to explore and we were able to make day trips to Pictured Rocks, Marquette, Mackinac Island, and some other local attractions. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are new, beds are comfortable with good linens, home is very clean, downstairs is cozy, upstairs is bright and light. No AC and we did have to break out the fans in the master which gets the most sunlight, but the cool nights would cool things down again. Highly recommend and would stay again!!

Debra was wonderful to accommodate our needs to be able to check in and get to our Elk viewing in a timely fashion. House was very clean. The area was beautiful with lots of fresh snow.

As a group of 8 we were worried about privacy and space. Once we arrived we were blown away at all the space, the amazing location and amenities. Kyle and Alena were beyond accommodating and helpful. We couldn’t have gotten through the weekend without them and or without the help of their friends and family. We felt like we had been coming to their place for years !! Any questions we had they answered right away and even gave us super helpful tips and advice for our stay ! We really appreciate you all, and cannot wait to return !! 16 out of 10 ;) If you are visiting rent the pontoon boat !! The area has so much to do and see and the price is a steal !

We loved staying at Kyle’s place! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions and suggestions. The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of comfortable seating - loved the porch and outdoor space. The mattress was super comfortable, which is important to my old bones after a day of hiking/exploring! We were only two people, but you could easily accommodate a large family or group and have plenty of room! We loved the remote waterfront location, it was so quiet and peaceful. We explored the Baraga County area (recommend the Lake and County tour), easily made day trips east to the Michigamme area and west to the Keweenaw and to Houghton for a MTU football game. We even got to see the Northern Lights right from the yard! It was a great time and we are already talking about coming back!

Angela and Jason were just terrific Hosts! They were very responsive and easy going! Our stay felt more like a grounding retreat! The amenities and shared spaces were perfect for small groups. My favorite spot was the wooden swing at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand and my warm throw. That view is just so beautiful!! It was exactly what the kids and i needed after a crazy week of going back to school! My boys loved kayaking. They packed their fishing gear and set off first thing in the am. We loved the pontoon as well! It was nice to take out the whole family on it as the kiddos enjoyed the tube! We docked at the sand bar and the kids got to swim in 2feet of pristine water! After soaking up the sun, we came in to bbq off the deck and later enjoyed s'mores around the bonfire. We were mesmerized by the stars in the sky! There were so many of them! I could get used to Waking up in the morning to a view like that! We will definitely be visiting again!

The house was very clean and very well stocked. You have everything you need and more! The hot tub was delightful on a cold snowy weekend. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

We enjoyed our family fishing weekend at Albert's home!!! Not many fish were caught, but lots of memories made! 😀 The home had plenty of room for us all to have our own space, but the family room and dining area was big enough for us all to be together too! Albert was very responsive when we had questions! The unique location...right on the lake, was a great plus for ice fishing! Literally, the water was 5 feet from the back door! Great place to enjoy family or friends!!

We loved our stay at this house. Great location right on the lake, beautiful views and the snow made it even better. The house was as described, clean and very comfortable. We skied 2 days at Schuss and this is a convenient location for that. The dogs had plenty of room to roam the house and were comfortable as well! We would definitely stay here again!

Matt was a wonderful host yet again. h He has always been extremely helpful. The home is largr and is very private and has a large back yard for my pups who love it at Matt's. The location is superb in proximity to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. I couldn't ask for a better host.

This house is absolutely amazing! Beautiful, well-organized, and pristine, it had everything we needed for a fabulous 7-person girl's weekend getaway. The kitchen had everything we could possibly want—a Keurig, drip coffee maker, full-size fridge with water and ice, dishwasher, and it was fully stocked. We had everything we needed! The living room was cozy, and there was plenty of sleeping space for everyone. Being right on the lake, the views were absolutely gorgeous, even in winter! And having three bathrooms made everything so easy for a group our size. We kept saying how fun this place must be in the summer because it was already incredible in the winter. We all loved it here and would 100% stay again!

The cabin was exactly as described and so much more. Anything and everything you could ever need for a stay. Was up for snowmobiling and location was great! Donald went so far above and beyond to make us comfortable. I can't say enough good things about Donald and his wife and their cabin. We will definitely return. This is definitely a lake Superior treasure!!

We had a great time! The house is even better in person. It was perfect for our group and the location was amazing... the views were stunning and the house was so open and well laid out... were hoping to go back in the summer time!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Big & beautiful home. It was great for our crew. Plenty of comfortable beds. The details of the stay were great. It felt like our personal 5 star hotel. Halder Bridge bar had delicious food just minutes away. The back patio sitting was delightful watching the sleds pass on by.

Sarah was very responsive when the snow kept falling thanks so much for sending a plow!! We had a great ski weekend and kids loved it. Will be up in the summer for some fishing

The cabin was right on a lake with kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe. The fire pit was located lakeside as well. It was beautiful and peaceful at all hours of the day. Our kids loved it! The house is clean and fully stocked. Perfect space for our family of six. Connections are spotty in the area which allowed us to more readily unplug from the world. Host was communicative and responsive to our questions and gave clear instructions for arrival and departure. Very happy with our decision to stay at this location! Highly recommend.

We had a great week of snowmobiling out of Nikki’s Lodge on the lake in the woods. Our group of 16 guys had plenty of room to hangout comfortably, plenty of kitchen and eating space, and a great time all being together rather than renting 8 hotel rooms for the week. What a cost savings for us and was way better being together all the time. We snowmobiled out of the cabin to the groomed trails a couple of days, and trailered to Republic and Champion the other days. We had some phenomenal riding. We brought ice fishing gear for the private lake but not enough time on this trip, maybe next time we’ll fish either in summer or winter. The deer walking up to the back deck and eating out of our hands was an awesome experience as well. I would highly recommend Nikki’s place for a big group of family or friends. We will definitely be back again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is gorgeous and very comfortably fit 10 of us. Everything was just as described and very clean, decorated nicely. Early during our stay it was communicated that the hot tub was not in service but they had a tech come out the next day and even with the hot tub down, they resolved any issues we had and communicated everything clearly and quickly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful huge cabin on the lake! Comfortable bed and linens. Aaaand pet friendly. My little family and I really enjoyed our time in Iron River and did a lot of exploring. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. They helped save our weekend.

Our family (5 adults, 2 kids & 1 dog) had a fantastic time at LaBri. Amazed by this beautiful home with spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the large refrigerator. Absolutely loved the large screened in porch facing the lake. The kids and dog took full advantage of the large backyard and swimming area by the dock. The location was quiet, perfect for relaxing but also plenty to do. We rented their pontoon boat, spent time on the lake fishing and observing the wildlife. LaBri had paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes available for use which we took full advantage of. I appreciated setup of the fire pit, framed by logs that gave an extra safety feature with kids and a dog running around. What impressed me the most was communication with our host Rick. He responded quickly and was very informative and made himself available for all questions. I felt like we were renting from friends. Thanks Rick & family for sharing their beautiful home.
