This was our second time staying at little elk cottage - it’s a great location, comfortable space, and has views for days! We loved building a fire at sunset. We did have an issue upon checking in but Chelsea was extremely responsive and quick to fix the problem. We had a great time & we’ll visit again.

This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

Fantastic hosts with fantastic little cabin. Absolutely loved my stay. Super cozy and warm during the coldest snap of the year! Would be even better in the summer with the beautiful location, outdoor amenities, and classic cabin on the lake!

Great little cabin stay. We mostly wanted to stay in a log cabin because of our son's recent interest in building houses with logs. He seemed to enjoy the simple aspects, of just a simple cabin in the woods. The playground was simple, and he enjoyed it. The best was sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars and reading books with him. We brought chairs but didn't need them. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great place.

Very beautiful location and a very short drive from downtown Charlevoix. It took a few minutes of walking to get from Cabin 1 to the main cabin where we could charge our devices and use the bathroom, which we didn't mind too much since it was a short stay. If you'd enjoy a camping-like experience with a comfy bed and no bugs, this is a great place to stay! Carl was also super helpful and responsive :)

Robert's place is so cozy and lacks nothing in "creature comforts." We love escaping from "people" after a day of visiting hot spots in Door County and Robert's cottage provides just that respite. He communicates extremely well, beginning with the document he has prepared for visitors that tells all that is needed for your stay as well as other suggestions of things to do; continuing with what is needed for check-in; and in response during your stay, if needed. I cannot recommend this cabin and Robert highly enough.

Trails are right across the street! Great place to stay if you have any atvs, dirt bikes, sxs, or snowmobiles.

We only stayed one night (previous night was cancelled due to the blizzard and hazardous driving conditions from out of state). Driveway and front stoop had been shoveled(20"of snow!) Upon arrival, the party lights were lit outside the house and the electric fireplace was on and made the cabin warm and homey. The cabin exuded such charm and character. Appreciate the well equipped kitchen and overall cleanliness of the cabin. The ladder to the loft is on a pulley system which my husband found easy to operate. The cabin is only 10 miles from downtown Marquette and short driving distances to cross country ski, snowshoe and taking in the Eben Ice Caves. The cabin was quiet, secluded and had beautiful views of the snow covered woods. Theresa was a gracious host and timely with all communications. Highly recommend!

You could definitely see the pride that was taken on the cabin, everything was amazing. So many wonderful views. We will be looking to book again for future adventures.

My boyfriend and I stayed with Kimberly at her Valley View property for the past two nights and it was exceptional! The property is even better than the photos can capture. The camper was so clean, and beautifully decorated with everything you could ask for. Kimberly is also a truly amazing host as well. We had a few hiccups, but as these things sometimes happen, she was attentive to every need. We would recommend booking at this property to anyone who’s looking for the perfect “glamping” experience. We hope to come again!

What a beautiful place to stay. My husband and I needed a place to get away from the daily rush. Tranquilo was perfect. Every time I looked out the windows, it was like I was in paradise. The view was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend staying here!

Ideal location serving as a cozy Basecamp for exploring several surrounding winter scenes. Our day consisted of a short drive to Kortmans for breakfast, Family Fare for snacks, Ocqueoc Falls for a snowy hike, and The 211 in Onaway for a filling meal. One of our favorite moments was fully embracing the hygge vibes (fireplace, flameless candles, blankets) and looking out the giant A-frame windows to see a bald eagle catching a fish in the lake then landing in a ice floe to feast. We would recommend this place to anyone seeking to slow down and enjoy a retreat surrounded by nature. This place was the perfect balance of rustic and comfort.

Bonnie’s Backyard Oasis was lovely. It was great to have a designated place to park, be able to check ourselves in and out at our convenience in a quiet neighborhood where we felt safe. The place was clean and adorable, and the bed was comfy, too. Bonnie was so thoughtful with a list of good places to visit in the area if we had time and even left some snacks and beverages in the unit for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent place to stay... Cool location, amazing Lake Superior beach across the street .... And very private, even with the partner property on the other side of the fence. The Patagonia concept was really cool. And a welcome break from all the northwoodsy stuff in so many other accommodations along the North Shore.

The cutest little cabin you could ask for. It was cozy and easy to find and well taken care of! Loved the location, the peaceful surrounding and the distance from L’Anse. The host had everything laid out on laminated sheets inside the cabin, which made it so easy to know how to take care of the space and use it! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy get away!

This was my second stay with Scott and Jenna. They did not disappoint! Their house is warm and cozy with a beautiful little wood stove,friendly smiles and warm hellos! The guest suite has a lovely claw foot bathtub where you can lounge and watch the leaves/snow fall. Maybe you want to take a walk? Ask Scott or Jenna where you can walk. The highlight for me personally? Being able to, no problem, watch The Greatest Showman whilst I took a lovely sauna. Heaven on earth people ☺️ Enjoy your stay! I’ll be back folks 😁

Great place in remote area. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful cabin and very well kept. Very cozy.

The location was perfect for plans in McMillan and Grand Marais. It was just right for our family of three and a cozy winter retreat. Some instructions could be made more available (like the sauna and thermostat), but Scott was very responsive to our questions/messages.

Suz has a really beautiful place in Frankfort, cozy and really calm. Would recommand it anytime ! Great host too.

I really enjoyed my stay. I needed somewhere peaceful, and this place delivered. I'll definitely stay again.

Amanda & Ryan were such amazing hosts plus an added welcome from the dogs who were super friendly and playful. The property was outstanding with the location being perfect for some peace and quiet. We were lucky enough to stay during a period of snow and it was perfect. Ryan and Amanda suggested plenty to do even with a 1 year old and also let us borrow some of their son’s old toys which certainly kept our little one happy! They were always happy to help with anything we may have needed and made us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Traverse City again.

This place was great for a weekend trip

The cabin was very peaceful and welcoming. Almost everything you may need is there. Definitely well worth it!
