Upper Rigsdale : locations de vacances

As we were arriving at 4am, Denise kindly upgraded us to No 1, because it was easy to access as right next to the car park. The house has been recently refurbished. It had everything we needed, perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, beautiful views. The welcome pack of tea, soda bread and biscuits was very welcome as we were unable to buy supplies on the way as we drove through the night from Dublin airport. The drive was from Dublin was easy, the check in was easy, the house was perfect and our hosts generously allowed us to be relaxed about our check out time too, which was much appreciated. There's a shop and a hotel with restaurant moments away, it's a longer walk into Killarney but doable. It's a very beautiful part of the world. We were visiting relatives nearby so hope to return soon.

I don't think I've ever stayed in an airbnb with a host as considerate, accommodating, and fashionable (both in personal and interior decorating style). The space was designed with livability and beauty in mind, and it shows. My family and I settled in instantly, as the space oozes comfort, from the wood burning stove to the well-stocked and compact kitchen. And if that wasn't enough, as it was Christmas, she brought me and my family plates from her meticulously cooked family dinner. If we're ever in Cork again, we will surely rent with her, and maybe even take her out for a cocktail. Thanks, Maureen!

Phil’s property was the perfect night of comfort and warmth after a few nights camping. It has everything you need, and the bed was extremely comfy, so I had a great nights sleep. The bathroom was spotless.

A spacious, immaculately clean apartment with everything you could need. Julie left milk, tea bags and a lovely treat which we were grateful for. Have already recommended to family and we would definitely like to stay again.

a cosy house, off the beaten path, surrounded by the beautiful west cork countryside. Close to Leap, and reasonable drive to clonakilty, schul and other great locations. highly recommended for those wanting some peace and quiet and good access to nature and the surroundings. Ger is a great guy, very welcoming and friendly , and I would not hesitate to recommend going there. might go again myself:)

This house was perfect for our needs. As a large group of adults, the number of en-suite rooms was great. The house had a wonderful large kitchen/living space, perfect for gatherings. The house was warm and beds were comfortable. Barbara was quick to respond and very helpful with our check-in and check-out arrangements. There was plenty of equipment and a well stocked cupboard of herbs and spices and odd bits that you need but don’t want to buy just for a few days. The location was perfect - 10 min walk to the centre of Bantry and the views are amazing from the house (despite the rain). We will definitely be back.

This place was really incredible. Mat and Sophie were very warm and happy to tell you about the place. The faerie trails were magical. I know I was healing just from being there. They put a lot of love and energy into this space and it shows. If your looking for a 5 star resort, this isn't your space. But if you want to be close to nature and reconnect with the Irish land and folklore, do yourself a favor and go here, open your heart and let the magic in. I will be coming back.

The holiday started well as we were greeted by Maureen who gave us a warm reception and showed us around the property. The property is amazing, and it is stylishly furnished and equipped with all manner of household items including hundreds of toys which occupied our granddaughter throughout the week. The property is located on a hill with panoramic views, and we enjoyed watching the sunsets every evening. We were fortunate with the weather which was dry but, in any event, there was plenty to occupy ourselves with within the property including a television and various equipment such as the dishwasher and washing machine which made our life quite easy. We also appreciated the beach equipment including chairs which helped us to enjoy the seaside which we visited virtually every day. This was undoubtedly the best holiday property we have experienced, and we are likely to return again next year for more of the same.
