A true gem in Ladysmith ! Was welcomed warmly & had a comfortable stay (and great breakfast). Can recommend.

David was super accomodating towards us. My daughter took part in a sports event and we were in and out and very much in his space but he made us feel like part of the family. He made me the best coffee and her a chocochino which she was thrilled about. The room was lovely and comfy. Just perfect!

Heidi is an excellent host. She makes sure that you are right at home. The flatlet is private and beautifully decorated. It was a very comfortable stay.

The place is beyond beautiful. As people who are familiar to Ladysmith we were beyond impressed that such beautiful sceneries exist there. Rooms and bathroom were clean and neat. Loved the minimal deco and neutral colours throughout the room.

We will defnitely make use of this accomodation again when in the area. Everyone was super friendly and the surroundings and views were spectacular. The seated areas were situated in spectacular locations so you could sit and relax

Lovely, quiet place in the Drakensberg. Near the end of a road, you’ll feel like you’re right in the heart of the mountains. The breakfast view is stunning and breakfast itself was excellent. It’s a great option. There’s a large pool and an in-ground trampoline for the kids. Our room was clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient and free.

We had an awesome stay at The Raz! The look and feel of the place is very modern, yet comfortable. We enjoyed the large bathroom which came with a jet bath which is a nice addition to the experience. Thanks Amina, we really enjoyed!

Winner! This place is a real find. Great service. Excellent breakfast with fresh sour dough bread. Very pretty manor house and gardens. The staff are always available but not intrusive. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The dogs and cats are extremely cute and add to the manor house charm. Position of B&B is very good for restaurants, pubs and the Midlands Meander. The delicious Terbodore coffee sachets in the rooms and at breakfast, is a welcome treat. We would definitely use this again as our base on a Midlands Meander.

Far Side Manor is the coziest, comfiest home away from home we have ever been to. You won't get better hosts than Graham and Ryan, their hospitality makes you feel like you've known them for years. It sounds cheesy when people say you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend, but in this case, it's the only way to describe it! Book your next Midlands trip here—I promise you won't be disappointed. In fact, you won't want to leave! PS - Thanks Abel for the amazing breakfasts!

I was there for one day and the place was as it was advertised and the host was very kind and welcoming and even though I arrived late to the place he was very understanding and explained everything to me.
