What a fantastic stay at Wyford Farm. Such brilliant history, spotlessly clean, everything you need, and true African character! We’ll definitely be back!

Robyn is the most friendly and responsive host I have dealt with. The property is amazing and wonderfully private. Great open areas for the kids to play and a game of Rugby was awesome on the lawn. We enjoyed the friendly horses and beautiful cows and the kids loved the chicken coop. The house was amazing loads of areas to braai with a large wrap around veranda and a fantastic pizza oven. All bedrooms look onto the mountain and were a good size. Huge kitchen and lovely herb garden. Royce the farm manager was lovely and helpful. The games room was a win. Kirsten the farm manager as even posted back a few items my teenager left behind - such amazing hassle free service. Thank you were had an amazing stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Louise’s place. She sent clear directions and descriptions of the house. It was a great space to stay in with everything we needed for a weekend with friends. There is lots to do in the area so worth a visit.

This is a really lovely location, with great view of the Tugela River and the Colenso hills. Very peaceful and comfortable stay and an extremely well-equipped kitchen! The farm milk is a perfect extra touch. Just be aware that the last few kilometres are over extremely poor roads so avoid driving there during darkness.

A lovely, spacious house with a beautiful garden. Near to restaurants and shops but quiet enough to enjoy the peace of the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. Love to be off grid. We can really recommend the cottage. Lovely , friendly hosts! Marion Ann and Andrew are down to earth...our kind of people...May the Lord bless and keep them...

A little hard to locate with the driveway overgrown and the sign was not visible so really difficult to find specially at night. The host was extremely helpful and drove out to find us and take us in. The location was simply amazing, peaceful and I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Mooi River.

Thank you so much - The Green Lantern was really lovely, it was beautiful and we had a warm welcome. Doggies and kids all welcome and it works so well in the tranquil setting. The food at the restaurant was very good - I have one recommendation though, if the menu could be sent and people can also order ahead specially since the restaurant only takes orders until 8pm. Loved the table tennis and the staff and chess.

This Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way! The views were simply amazing, and we spent hours gazing out at the stunning scenery. The home was beautifully decorated and spacious, with plenty of room for our kids to run around and play. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. And the location was perfect - close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. 5 stars and more if we could!

Absolutely breathtaking and highly recommended

We went with our two dogs to escape New Year's Eve fireworks, & stayed for 3 days. The journey from Durban was not much further than the Northern Berg, with the turnoff close to Harrismith & other settlements. However, after a few kilometers of dirt road you are surrounded by farmlands & in a peaceful world of your own. The cottage is unpretentious, clean & homely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has an expansive, private outlook in the front but is not totally isolated, with the main house & outbuildings nearby. This only adds to a sense of security & belonging on this most beautiful farm. If our dogs could write a review it would be 5 stars, as they romped about freely in their own massive fenced garden, marvelled at nearby sable & roan antelope, & enjoyed guided walks with their humans. We saw more buffalo than on a game reserve, as well as fish eagles, gemsbok, merecats & remarkably preserved San paintings. Warm thanks to Graham & Nick for their hospitality.

We enjoyed the gorgeous views across a tranquil valley and loved the walks through the gentle hills, dotted with various buck along the way. There is also so much to see and do in the area - if you can pull yourself away from the very comfortable and cosy home. Great family time and a wonderful escape from the city. Thank you, Kim!

Nice cottage with a great view in really nice surroundings. Kat was very friendly and pointed us in all the right directions - can happily recommend staying here!

Oh what a beautiful & peaceful place to be in. The pictures honestly do not do justice, it’s much more beautiful in person with gorgeous surroundings and the rooms are huge. The restaurant, playground and horse riding being in the same estate are a cherry on top. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

Brenda & Keren were amazing hosts... Keren was always available & quick to respond to whatever I needed. The house was clean & beautiful, the pictures here don't do it justice at all. The mountain views at the estate are nothing short of amazing.

UNIQUE experience! Very friendly hosts and unique as well, felt right at home. Didn’t know where to look first, so many things to discover. We’ll never forget our stay at the Zulu hut! Marvelous views to Drakensberge! Highly recommend

Linda is such an amazing host, she was so helpful and responsive to questions that we had for her. Her home is perfectly positioned in front of the most beautiful Drakensburg mountains. Last but not least her home is clean and beautiful, we will definitely be going back soon.
