Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Anjelo was a fantastic host and super responsive throughout and I can't thank the caretaker for the house, Keerthi, enough for taking care of my family when we stayed for a couple of nights. Keerthi helped arrange meals, took us around in his tuktuk to tourist sites, restaurants, the money exchange and even nearby shops and was always reachable within minutes and made our whole experience much more enjoyable. Highly recommend Anjelo's house !

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and my daughters were excited to have their own little house! It was well set up with a restaurant across the road for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also packed breakfast for the safari if needed. The hosts were very friendly and showed us lots of birds and animals in the lush garden. They also shared badminton nets and cricket bats for our daughters to play and put up big hammocks to relax in. They were able to arrange everything such as the safari tour, a trip to the local Buddhist temple and to see a colony of fruit bats, and a car to our next destination. I’d recommend going for the 6 hour safari as you can go a bit further into the park and not be around as many jeeps. We saw elephants, mongoose, monitor lizards, the giant Sri Lankan squirrel, crocodiles, wallowing buffalo and 20+ kinds of birds. Recommended as a place to stay near the safari park entrance.

This villa is perfect for a group that wants to hang out together and eat local food cooked by the wonderful Chef Jacob. The housekeeper Roman will also help you sort out laundry via a pick up and drop off service and were friendly and lovely people. Happy to stay in a place that supports small local businesses rather than big hotels

Nous avons bien été accueilli par Dana, logement incroyable et atypique. Le repas préparé a été délicieux. Dana nous a donné de bonnes recommandations sur les activités à proximité. Nous avons eu son aide pour déposer nos bagages dans la chambre. Il nous a même aidé à mettre le feu de cheminée. Je recommande ce logement. Pour le moment c’est notre coup de cœur du Sri Lanka!

This airbnb was a highlight of our trip. Came here to hike devil’s staircase to the waterfall. The view through the valley and all the way out to Udawalawe national park is stunning. And the staff there were so attentive always offering tea and offering to pack a breakfast when we were going on a hike early in the AM which was really helpful. The room was simple and clean and cool at night due to being in the mountains. Cool enough i wore a sweater outside. Food was delicious, sri lankan dinner was one of our best on the trip. They also provided insider knowledge on local hikes which was great when we had an extra morning and wanted to get one more hike in. Note that it is not easy to get to! Recommend either hiring an SUV or being dropped at the train station and going the rest of the way by tuk tuk which can handle the uneven road and steep decline much better. Overall highly recommend

"Wilderness Bliss at Yala's Edge" Our stay at this Airbnb on the border of Yala National Park was an absolute wilderness extravaganza. It was a culinary delight that perfectly complemented our adventure-filled days. Mr. Santosh, played an instrumental role in making our stay exceptional. His assistance and warmth added immense value to our experience. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience throughout our time there. This spot is a must-visit, especially if you're planning a safari at Yala National Park. The rates are incredibly reasonable, offering exceptional value for the experience it provides. It's a treasure trove for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly
