Uvita Beach : locations de vacances au bord de l'eau

Beautiful place! So serene in the middle of a national park. We enjoyed taking a stroll down to the beach every day, looking for wildlife and ultimately relaxing. The house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed! The area had a lot to offer and we checked out some of places recommended to us which we enjoyed. This area has a lot to offer without feeling touristy.

Geweldig verblijf gehad. Vriendelijk ontvangen en leuk gekletst in de avond, we mochten nog gebruik maken van het zwembad, speciaal voor ons waren de watersproeiers in het zwembad aangezet. Heerlijk wakker geworden met tropische geluiden en fruit gekregen in de ochtend.

Our stay at this property was absolutely incredible, with a breathtaking view! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. The concierge was welcoming, and we appreciated for a hot shower and fresh towels. The pool area was stunning and well-maintained.However, there are a few areas that could be improved. It good to have coffee or tea for guest, and we were surprised to find there was no iron. Additionally, some house rules were unexpected, such as the prohibition on drones and no BBQs, despite them being shown in the photos. Although the balcony is shared with other guests, we were fortunate to have it mostly to ourselves. The bar chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable, and there was only one patio chair for the two of us. We also felt a bit uncomfortable with the presence of several cameras on the property, including one right of our apartment. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was fantastic! We would definitely stay again!

Ian's hotel is the perfect little spot in Dominical. Great location great pool great rooms. Great crowd. Ian himself is a cool guy and has fun plans to expand the place. Really looking forward to staying again sometime.

The place is very close to everything in Uvita. A walkable little bar down the street with a pool and restaurants. Beach is about a km away. waterfall with slide little farther. Two bedrooms were plenty for my wife and son. Pool is a must in Uvita because it is hot day and most of the night.

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans la Casita Tropical de Cindy. L'environnement est magnifique et la piscine très appréciée. On est au calme mais à quelques minutes à pied de tout : l'entrée du parc, les agences proposent des sorties. les restaurants, supermarché et banque sans oublier le marché bio 2 fois par semaine ou nous avons pu acheter de tres bins fruits et légumes d'une grande fraîcheur. Cindy est très réactive et de bon conseil. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié sa recommendation pour le bar-restaurant de la Cusinga Lodge à même pas 10mns en voiture de la maison. Nous y avons pris un verre pour voir le coucher de soleil sur la baie. Moment magique. Le personnel du lodge est très accueillant qu'on y séjourne ou qu'on vient de l'extérieur. On serait bien rester p’us longtemps chez Cindy mais d'autres beaux lieux nous attendent au Costa Rica alors peut-être à une autre fois...

Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

Nos encantó todo. Desde la comunicación, el lugar en si, está super lindo, la decoración sencilla pero elegante y muy acogedora. Todo se encontraba super organizado y aseado. Cositas cómo que dejaran el refri con agua fría, son detallados qué marcan la diferencia de un buen host. De verdad quedamos encantados con el lugar y la atención. RECOMENDADISIMO ❣️

Amazing amazing place… if you do some exploring, you can definitely walk to the playa

Un alojamiento y entorno hermoso, con vista impresionante. Toda la casa limpia y ordenada, amplio espacio de parqueo y para compartir en grupo. Regresaríamos sin dudarlo.

Clara was a wonderful host - so kind and thoughtful. Place was beautiful, in serene nature with river access. Couldn't ask for anything more, it was perfect! I would go back in a heartbeat. The access to the river was amazing, the place was stunning, would recommend anyone looking for a tranquil getaway. It was well-stocked and also very large. Airconditioning was installed half-way through my visit, which was wonderful in the heat. Thanks Clara! Note for fellow digital nomads: This area occasionally experiences short power outages, usually due to weather. I’d recommend having an internet backup plan just in case—an eSIM with data worked really well for me (I used Airalo). While coverage can vary along this road, this particular Airbnb had excellent Wi-Fi (40mbps) and strong eSIM reception. With both high-speed internet and a reliable backup, it was a great spot for working online, even with higher bandwidth needs. It was the best internet experience I had in all of Costa Rica.

Amazing spot with incredible view from the porch and very clean interior. Very easy communication, would gladly stay again! Note: Septic system if you aren't used to that, and most definitely need AWD to get to the place.

What you're going to find is much better than what you can see in the photos, the house and its surroundings are quiet and private... very comfortable, I definitely hope to return.

Big cabañas with AC, a pool and a shared kitchen which is great for communication and social contacts. Very nice hosts and family. Having a car is a plus due to the long road to the beach/supermarkt, but they rent bikes for a fair price, too.

La estadia fue rapida pero el lugar estaba limpio y acorde a lo que se encuentra en el anuncio. La comunicación fue adecuada. Completamente recomendado.

I wasn't aware that the kitchen is shared but it was great! The hosts are really responsive and supportive and didn't have any troubles.

Todo muy bueno y es como en las fotos y además el ambiente es bonito ya que hay un choque de culturas y se pueden llevar bien

It’s hard to put into words how perfect this condo was for our family. The pictures online were incredible and seemed almost too good to be true, but everything described and pictured is accurate. The condo is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. The patio is fantastic with a view of the rainforest and pool. The short walk to the beach is BEAUTIFUL and full of wildlife. We saw monkeys, toucans, little birds, crabs, frogs, and beautiful flowers. The beach is nearly private. There were rarely others around and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for swimming in the waves and watching the sunset. 10 minutes or less from restaurants and town. Just perfect! Would live to come back!!

Beautiful macaws in the tree right outside the hotel! The owners are a very nice family and live on-site for support if needed. The communal kitchen was actually kept very clean, and each room has a designated section in the fridge and a box for non-refrigerated foods. The communal space was a nice way to meet others in the hotel. It isn’t a very walkable area, but that’s Uvita in general, so I’d recommend having a car or renting a scooter in the town (the hotel has plenty of parking spots). I worked remotely while there and the wifi was good for video calls.

Beautiful accommodations with gorgeous view! The whole property and pool are lovely! Stunning view of ocean from balcony where we also viewed many birds, capuchin monkeys, and heard howler monkeys in the evening. Beautiful Dominicalito beach just 5 minutes drive. Excellent communication with host, would definitely recommend!

If we could give the Macaws 10 stars we would. This is the best AirBnB and one of the best accommodation experiences that we have ever had. Our entire vacation was great, largely because of the Macaws. Yes, the beds, location and rooms are excellent but what sets the Macaws out is the outdoor kitchen/dining area. For travellers who wished to hang out there to share stories, a meal, play a game, etc. it was the perfect setting. If you didn't want to, you could stay in your room like any other place and no one would bother you. The pool was also nice and refreshing. Finally, on a few occasions we saw big Macaws in the almond tree. Thanks Victor and Family!
