Uvita Beach : locations de vacances

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the cabin. We spent our days driving to remote waterfalls and taking jungle walks or swimming at Playa hermosa. The evenings were very relaxing at the cabin. We saw a flock of Scarlet macaws and a family of howler monkeys. Blue morph butterflies by day and giant lightening bugs and bats at night. We found the cabin to be cozy and modern, just our style. Communication was excellent. Definitely reccommend.

This was such a great place to stay, the view is AMAZING. It is a little of a trek to get to the property, but really not that bad as the road is well maintained. You will need a 4 x 4 but in all honestly if you are worried about the road, don't be. The house is nice and open, and the deck has great views for eating meals. The plunge pool was a nice treat as well. Jeff is a great host, and very friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to be above the clouds and have a spectacular view, while enjoying the sounds of the birds. Thanks, we will be back!

We stayed 10 nights at Sasha's place and had a lovely time. It is around a 10 -15 minute walk from the whale's tail but we drove because of the heat. We didn't meet Sasha and her family because she was away but she communicated well and always responded quickly. Also, Tony who lives there too was very helpful and friendly. The apartment is even nicer than it looks in the photos. It is tastefullly furnished, and the beds were very comfortable, it's spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning was good. We really enjoyed spending time in the pool. It's not huge but bigger than it looks in the photos. The garden is lovely and very well kept with lots of flowers. We spotted scarlet macaws, parrots and lots of other birds in the trees nearby. I'm not a dog lover but the dogs were really sweet and no trouble at all. They were very friendly but settled quickly after saying hello. I'd certainly like to stay again when we return to Uvita.

We absolutely loved staying at Johnny's place! After the first quiet, comfortable night as we lingered over coffee on the patio watching the hummingbirds, we decided to change our plans and stay a little longer. The house is beautiful and has everything you could need provided. We especially loved all the outdoor space and spending evenings watching birds with drinks on the rooftop (we saw Yellow Throated Toucans and Montezuma Oropendola right from the deck!). The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. 15/10 we'll be back!

Our family of 10 had a wonderful time at Casa Alta Vista. The home was very clean and well maintained. Because the house was so beatiful that we ate all of our local fish dinners at home. The kitchen was well appointed and had the oils and spices we needed. Small stuff but it matteres when you are traveling long distances. Can not say enough about the house, the view and the Domenical area. Loved it all.

My husband and I and our 4 kids LOVED this house. We spent a week there and it was perfect for us. The beach was amazing - great for swimming and playing at high tide and great for walking at low tide. The house had chairs and boogie boards we enjoyed. The pool was awesome. The views of the pool and beach from the deck great. We really appreciated the AC and the ice maker when it was hot outside. House was clean and comfortable. Really cannot say enough how much we loved this location and house.

We are already planning a return trip. Our only regret there was that we stayed at another place for 2 days when we could have been there. The home was exactly what I was looking for, a private home with a pool but even better. The town of Dominical was the perfect size, not a huge touristy area, but easy to get around and find a unique place to eat, groceries to cook, and a nice beach. The river was an added bonus as it was very clean and swimable. The only concern with the place would be the drive up the dirt and rock hill. I didn’t have an issue with it in our rented RAV4 with Rock and Dirt setting on, but I have friends I’m sure that would not feel comfortable navigating it. It is a short drive, but steep in parts.

We recently stayed at Villa Azul at the end of December for 4 nights. The location was great and close to town, yet very quite and peaceful. The access to the private beach was wonderful and a luxury for sure! it was a 5 min walk from our room! the views from the villa was amazing. We saw capuchin monkeys from our deck and scarlet macaws from the pool snacking on almonds. Amazing! This is completely on me as I did not see the floor plan closely enough in the listing, but I didn't realize that the two bedrooms don't have an interior connection. This was slightly inconvenient for us travelling with young children, but we made it work! just a heads up in case it helps anyone. Also, the interior could use some minor maintenance but nothing that prevented us from having an enjoyable stay! Pablo, the groundskeeper, and the cleaning lady were nice, and we appreciated the laundry service. Thanks to David and his team for making our stay memorable!

My wife and I loved this place. The privacy and wildlife were exactly what we wanted out of our vacation. Tucans daily, parrots and lots of other birds. We felt very comfortable with our host Adrian and he was always very respectful of our privacy and communicated if there was any need to come by the house and what time he would be there. The road wasn't as bad as what I was expecting and in fact they were even upgrading it while we were staying there. Was completed just before we left. We already wish we were back there and will be booking again.
