This Airbnb was such a lovely place to stay in Uvita!! Check-in was very easy and the place felt very safe. we had a lovely view and there were cows in the field right next to the pool!!

Rio Escondido is a supper clean property and only about fifteen minutes to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The house and surroundings are very peaceful with a great view down a valley towards the sea. The house was spotless, the kitchen very well equipped, the beds clean and comfortable, the large outdoor terrace a great place to read, eat and relax and was well protected from the sun. The saltwater pool, a good size and very refreshing. INNOVA Management is a great team and were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. It was a pleasure to meet Josue, a very friendly and thoughtful person, who is very informed and knowledgeable about the area and Costa Rica. Thoroughly enjoyed our five weeks there!

Beautiful house that feels just like home. Cozy and nicely decorared, invites you to relax and enjoy the peace there. Unfortunately the neighborhood is quite noisy at the moment due to construction work just meters away from the house. At time not even possible to hear the conversation. Anyways, we enjoy the house as much as we could. The environment is so relaxing when is quite. A nice pool with a big tree providing shade and cooling down the area, perfect to spend some time with family. The house has everything you need, close to supermarket and walkable distance from the park entrance.

The house was exactly the space we were looking for as a family of 5 with three teenage daughters. There are good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We especially loved the proximity to the waterfall slide at Catarata Uvita!

We stayed at Eric’s house and it was wonderful and easy to get in. His response was amazing and the location is perfect. We were there just for the night but love the place. At first you think that the pictures are not real but they are actually. New place and wonderful to stay. Thanks

It’s a very nice house. We stayed there with our 2 kids for three weeks and really enjoyed it. The house has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, nice veranda. Our highlight was the really big private pool. We can definitly recommend this place. Thanks Pinar for having us at your place.

Awesome stay! Loved staying in Uvita at this great property! The pool was so nice to cool off in during the day. Lori was great, very responsive and provided helpful tips for the area!

Both Amy and Gary were super friendly, helpful, and you just felt like you met some really good people. The place had everything you needed. Clean as a whistle. And what an amazing view!! We will definitely be going back! Soon!!! - Mark

Sehr schönes Haus mit Pool und großem Garten. Großzügiger Wohn-Essbereich und schöne Badezimmer. In jedem Zimmer ein Fernseher, Grillmöglichkeit vorhanden. Wir hatten als Familie richtig viel Platz. Es sind nur 2Minuten zu Fuß zum Supermarkt. Haben u schon pudelwohl gefühlt!

Disfrutamos de una maravillosa estadía en la casa de Craig. La casa esta muy bien equipada, limpia y muy bien organizada. La entrada y salida fue autónoma, sin interactuar con nadie pero en la casa todo funciona tan bien que no fue necesario ninguna instrucción extra. La casa es muy cómoda para tres parejas, los baños muy amplios, la cocina muy completa y había muchos detalles como elementos de cocina, de limpieza y de aseo, botiquin, toallas de primera, etc que facilitan y hace mas facil la estadia. La casa queda en un área verde a pocos metro del rio que se escucha bellamente durante la noche. A menos de 5 minutos caminando hay restaurants y negocios diversos para hacer las compras necesarias. La casa tiene cochera propia. Cada vez que escribimos a Craig el respondió en segundos y se mostro flexible a los horarios de entrada y salida. Recomiendo la casa de Craig para pasar hermosos dias en Uvita en una casa confortable y bella.

Magnificant villa in what we consider to be the best part Costa Rica. Sea views, empty beaches, good restaurants, no traffic and the mystic cloudy jungle mountains at your back. Many birds and monkeys around the house and a superior pool make this a perfect place to stay.

Jolie petite maison dans un endroit calme et à moins de 10 minutes à pied du parc marino ballena. Tout était propre bien rangé et moderne La piscine était très appréciable avec ces températures! Le lave-linge et le sèche-linge ont été utiles. Le propriétaire est très réactif. une très belle adresse, où l'on se sent bien.

This was our second time visiting Jim’s place. It is such a special property, surrounded by nature. Jim did an incredible job designing and landscaping his home. There are native fruit trees that surround it. Every sunset Tucans visit the property, and we were lucky enough to see Howler monkeys in the distance. This property fills our cup and we hope to return in the future. While we love visiting Domincalito and the laid back beaches, our favorite thing to do while visiting is lounge at Jim’s and take in the beautiful landscape. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Fue un viaje familiar. La casa está ubicada en una zona retirada, muy tranquila. Durante el día pudimos observar muchos tipos de aves y mariposas. Durante nuestra estancia una pequeña ave pasó haciendo su nido en un arbusto frente a la ventana de la cocina y por esa misma ventana pudimos observar un Venado pasar. La casa es muy acogedora, completamente equipada. La recomendamos en todos los términos. Esperamos volver pronto!

For a group of 3 couples looking for both relaxation and adventure, this was the perfect spot! The house is amazing and even more beautiful than the pictures, with iguanas and tropical birds to see as we enjoyed the views of sunrise and sunset from the pool. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. The location is a perfect hub to explore some beaches and restaurants to the south in Uvita, and not a far drive to Manuel Antonio, with a good selection of places close by in Dominical. Hosts were so responsive and available with lots of great recommendations and helped with anything we needed. They were flexible with our check-in and personal helped us find it on a rainy night. We can’t recommend Casa Linda highly enough!

Geweldig verblijf! Ik heb een fantastische tijd gehad in dit huis. De accommodatie was brandschoon, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden waren comfortabel, de keuken goed uitgerust en de omgeving prachtig. De gastvrouw Silvia was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, met snelle communicatie en nuttige tips over de omgeving. De ligging was perfect: rustig, maar toch dichtbij Ojochal. Het terras was een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen. Ik zou deze plek zonder twijfel aanbevelen en kom graag nog eens terug!

This place is more breathtaking in person than in the pictures it’s absolutely stunning! We visited with our 3&1 yr old, and we had an amazing time enjoying the pool and exploring the jungle trails(bring bug spray for the trails, but no bugs by the pool). We saw alot of monkeys and birds. The groundskeeper was so kind and even brought us fresh coconuts to drink. The landscaping is beautiful and well-maintained. The host gave us a personal tour of the house when we arrived, making us feel welcome. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for our 1yr old(who still naps)it stayed cool and dark. There was even a crib for him. The hammocks were fun for both the kids and adults we spent hours just relaxing and enjoying the jungle views. At night, the accent lighting around the house created such a cozy and relaxing vibe. We had a 2WD car, and it did great in low getting up the driveway, even 6 people and our luggage. Pay attention to the landmarks when finding the place, as it’s easy to miss.

We had the great fortune to spend a month at this fabulous house. Everything you’ve read previously is absolutely true..the house and the view are even better than the photos. We saw amazing birds and butterflies daily. The house is comfortable and well stocked. It is a quiet and peaceful haven. The hosts are so kind and responsive. Good to know: the house is very remote. It is at the end of a VERY steep mostly dirt/gravel road with sharp blind turns, about a 2.5km drive up from the highway. The road is not for the faint of heart. We got used to it as time went on but I did contemplate my mortality regularly! Note that you can’t walk anywhere from the house. Wifi and power outages happen in CR and there isn’t enough cell coverage to hotspot from this location if you need regular connectivity. The beds feel quite small, more double than queen - fine for a few days. If you need to work you might prefer staying in town. This is a perfect retreat for a few days of luxury in the jungle.

The grounds are perfectly manicured and the house well maintained. Very comfortable with a beautiful view. A definite repeat.

Living in San José, Costa Rica, we travel a lot. This home was the cleanest an freshest to date. We had a great time in the area and enjoyed the pool and grill. Thank you!

Private, pristine, secure, all amenities you'd ever need. Grounds and pool were impeccably clean. Bedding and furniture were comfy. We saw white faced monkeys, coatis, blue Morpho butterflies and toucans. All these were beautifully backdropped by the whale's tail at Marino Bahia Ballena. This home's architecture, construction, decor, and use of space was the best blend I've seen here in the southern zone. The house is even more spacious than the photos show. We had a group of 7 adults and it was perfect. Plenty of shops and restaurants at the bottom of the road in Uvita. 4x4 is a must. The trip up and down the mountain to the property is scenic as well. I'd definitely book this place again.

We needed a place for our large mixed group of family and friends who were here for a wedding and this place was perfect. Ample room for everyone, safely gated, a pool to keep the kids busy and large common area for everyone to convene. There are others living nearby but they are quiet and we’re always very helpful whenever we needed. You’ll want to have a car while here so you can quickly and easily jaunt into the city centre or take a short trip to Dominical (about 35 minutes). Would happily return! Great place.
