Karsten and Durita are the very best hosts! They were hospitable, friendly and very helpful, far behind their host duties ❣️ The apartment is absolutely wonderful, well equipped and with a really great view. It is a calm place, where you can relax after busy days outdoors in the Faroe Islands. We spent a great 12 nights and days there. The only negative thing was, that we had to leave ☺️

Great location to start your day in Torshavn. We were challenged to find the unit as the ad did not show the door, just the buildings around the neighborhood. Once inside everything was great. Be aware the locked door relies on your phone using an app. Not our favorite as you lose your phone or it runs out of battery, you would be stuck. Also meant one person always had to be the one to unlock.

We’ve stayed in many Airbnb units and this is easily our favourite. It’s spacious and amenities are well thought out. Everything that you’ll need while travelling is there. BONUS supermarket is a very short walk away, opens Monday - Sat until 10pm, which helps in meal preps when we get back from exploring Faroe everyday. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Great place to stay - parking right outside the house. Clean - and with nice view from kitchen and living room. Would not hesitate to book if visiting to Torshavn in the future.

I must say this is a really worthy stay here in green pearl, this nice house is located in the heart of Thorshav so you could reach out to all viewpoints easily, and all necessities for living are guaranteed:)

This flat was a wonderful place to call home for a week. Comfortable, bright, and very well designed, it really felt like home. Very close to the harbor and restaurants -- ideally situated and a great value. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals when we weren't eating out (local restaurants can be expensive, so we cooked a couple of nights.) The bed was comfortable; the linens are excellent quality. Lovely and interesting art. This is the place to stay! Takk fyri, Sólrun. Paul and Andrew

Marianna’s house in Kvívík is a comfortable place to stay in. The house feels really traditional and the village has some history which is interesting to explore. Driving around the Island and to Tórshavn was easy and buying groceries outside of Kvívík was no Problem. Also, communication with Marianna was easy and fast and she was a really friendly host. The fact that we could use the washing machine also came in quite handy.

Our stay at Anetta's was amazing. The house is beautiful, in a quiet corner of a quiet neighborhood. Gazing at the view was the highlight of our evenings. Everything is well thought for airbnb visitors. We'd come back again!

We enjoyed our 3 night's stay at Ingrid's place. Location was good, not far from Vagar airport, easy to find and near amenities like supermarket and gas station. It was homey and cozy, allowing us to prepare meals which we can enjoy with a nice view. It was cold and raining during our stay, otherwise we could have spend more time in the balcony. It was good to have 2 toilets to share among 5 adults although one is located down the basement. It was nice of Ingrid's daughter to come and help us with the internet setting when we arrived and also readily gave us some cooking oil when we couldn't find any in the pantry. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed in Finnbjørn's house for 6 nights and was feeling like at home right the moment I entered the house. Since it was my first time visiting the Faroe Islands, the house was a perfect spot to relax between my packed days of exploring most spots of the Faroe Islands. The surrounding area is perfect for walks, (trail-) runs, hikes, swims (if you're brave enough) or simply sitting at the banks of the fjord to take in the scenery. The house features everything you need: a very spacious and well equipped kitchen, cozy couches, comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom with a great view out to the nearby fjord. There's a small supermarket and a café right around the corner which is perfect for stocking up on supplies or simply relaxing for a bit. The communication with Finnbjørn was perfect. I sometimes even felt sorry that he replied so quickly and I forgot to write him back because I was so absorbed by the magnificent nature. I will definitely try to stay at this place again!

La casa di Sunnfrid ci ha consentito di immergerci perfettamente nello spirito e nella cultura faroese: lo stile degli arredi, il caldo del legno, la cura dei particolari ( candele e oggetti decorativi) Inoltre la comunicazione via mail era molto efficace e rapida, ci ha permesso di chiarire dubbi e richieste. Il villaggio molto grazioso e comodo per girare tra le isole senza fare troppe volte tunnel a pagamento. Esperienza meravigliosa! Segnaliamo solo che per noi italiani mancava una caffettiera e uno scolapasta.

Katrin was vriendelijk en makkelijk te bereiken. Ze legde ons van te voren uit dat er geen winkel aanwezig was op het eiland, enkel een café. Dit was prettig om te weten. De locatie was prachtig, je liep zo de natuur in. Het huisje had veel voorzieningen, prachtig uitzicht op ze en de helicopter opstijg plek. Heel gaaf om te zien. We hadden graag geweten dat er een badplaats aanwezig was op het eiland, zodat we onze zwemkleding mee hadden kunnen nemen. We hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad!

Appartamento molto grande e spazioso. La grande vetrata nel soggiorno offre una ampia vista sul mare. La cucina è molto bella e ben attrezzata con diversi elettrodomestici utili (macchina del caffè, tostapane, teiera, forno a microonde), oltre ovviamente a forno e lavastoviglie. Le stanze da letto (3) sono ampie a sufficienza con materassi molto comodi. Il bagno è invece essenziale, nel senso che è piccolo per la dimensione della casa che può tenere fino a 6 ospiti (noi eravamo in 4 con due bambini). La posizione infine è strategica perché in poco tempo di auto si raggiungono le principali escursioni (lago sospeso a 5 minuti di auto, bour a 20 minuti, traghetto per mykines a 15 minuti, 10 minuti al "dito della strega"). Le comunicazioni con l'host sono sempre state veloci ed efficaci

We enjoyed staying at Óluva's place! The location was perfect and we were easily able to go into town down the street, and it was a great location to base ourselves in the Faroe Islands! The view from the apartment was great and it was wonderful to have all the amenities (like a full kitchen and laundry) during our stay. We would happily stay here again when visiting the Faroe Islands!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

We had a fabulous stay in the Faroe Islands. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and easy to find. Magnus was quick to answer any questions and truly cared that we had everything we needed. Thank you Magnus and Jonas!

Super beliggenhed. Dejlig udsigt. Fint udstyret lejlighed og meget privat, selvom værten bor i samme hus. Anna-Maria og hendes mand var meget søde og hjælpsomme.

We absolutely loved our stay at Helgi’s. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, cozy, and had ample space four our family of four. Helgi went the extra mile in providing a highchair for us. We would definitely stay again!

Osvald has been a very welcoming host, always available and kind. His flat was warm, clean, comfortable and easy to find, made us feel as at home. Washing and Drier machines availability has really been the most valuable facility of our stay
