Place was as described, although felt larger than it seemed in the photos. Perfectly walkable downtown Blowing Rock location. Clean and tidy, comfortably furnished, roomy enough for our group of three with three separate beds. It's in an older house with lots of character, but the inside is updated and modern. As others noted, we did occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs, but weren't bothered by that at all. During a foggy, damp and cold day we were happy to spend time in the cozy breakfast nook with lots of natural light. Would gladly stay here in again!

Everything we expected and more. It was a beautiful spot in a great location. It was a lot bigger than expected as well. We also didn’t realize how close it was to the ski resort!! You can walk there. We will definitely be back.

We had a very peaceful stay while catching some late season skiing. Everything was just as described very nice. We loved it.

We chose this property due to its location, cost, and pictures. We were there for a quick weekend to visit family in the area. The unit was clean and comfortable. While we did not prepare meals the kitchen seemed very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The area was 100% safe and the location was excellent. Maybe a little too close to Kilwans Chocolate Store. It was quiet, even though it was located on West Jefferson's Main Street. Instructions for checkout were displayed on the refrigerator. Can't imagine anyone not being extremely happy with this unit and we would love to stay again.

A perfect retreat for two! Simple to check in and out - had no issues. Up a gravel mountain road, so make sure your car can handle it especially if it snows!

Kevin was a very friendly host and his wife even made us cookies and offered to make us breakfast. Very sweet people and we will definitely stay again.

If you’re planning to go to the slopes this is a perfect place. Host is responsive and nice!

We enjoyed our stay at sky loft! The space was clean, easy to access, and perfect for our getaway. Mark was easy to contact and communicate with from booking to check out. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a last minute booking on a home close to Boone and came upon this listing. The place was spotless clean and had everything that you may need for a short stay. The instructions and the check in and out process was super easy. My teens loved the giant tv screens and the pool table and we loved the view and the privacy. We would love to stay again but this time in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the porches and the views more.

Adam and Debra were great hosts - they were extremely flexible and understanding when we were concerned we'd have to cancel our trip due to the snow/roads. Thankfully we were still able to visit Boone for our scheduled weekend, and we had a great time! The house is so close to downtown you could walk there (we didn't, just due to time). They're right across from App Cookie Co (AMAZING cookies and coffee), and the house was amazing. Will definitely book with them again :)

This place is very welcome very cozy very clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very quiet and relaxing place .we enjoyed our vacation and we will come back . The host Melissa was super nice and very thoughtful of everything what you need to make your stay fantastic.we love that place and is highly recommend to give a try .

Perfect place as a base for day hikes in Linville Gorge. Accommodations were just as described and we enjoyed sitting outside at night with a fire. Host was always responsive and friendly and helpful. Highly recommend !

We had a great stay! It snowed in the days before we arrived but the driveway was clear. My daughter was able to do some sledding in the side yard. The fireplace was wonderful and we enjoyed the collection of board games. An overall great mountain weekend!

The house was as described. The host was very nice. The access to the slope is a little steep making it challenging when wearing ski boots.

Sara's place was comfortable for our family of 4 and very convenient to Boone while also feeling very private and peaceful. It was about 12 minutes from Appalachian ski mountain, 10 minutes to groceries, drug stores, and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and the layout made it easy to gather while giving my teen boys their own space. We had a couple of hiccups during our stay and Sara was very responsive and kind even though we were communicating during the holidays.

Yrma was extremely responsive. Very quick to respond to questions. My husband and I booked this place for after our wedding and Yrma was very helpful on how to check in as well as being lenient on when we could check in. After a long day of wedding affairs it was a very peaceful place to come back to. Instantly felt at home, the place was spotless, and it smelt so clean.

Beautiful, beautiful place with every amenity thought through. This is a gorgeous little condo super close to skiing. We had the best time and I would stay every time I come to that area. Absolutely loved our stay here! So cozy and didn’t want to leave!

Jennifer and her co-hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. The condo was perfect for our family vacation. Close to ski slopes, but not within walking distance, which was fine with us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The porch furniture was the best, love the gliders. And the view of Grandfather Mountain and surrounding mountains was beautiful. Great experience!!

Your place was very lovely. It was very clean and I hope we left it without any issues and followed your check out instructions. Unfortunately the pool and Jacuzzi was out of service due to them doing renovations but that was ok and we understood, stuff like that has to happen from time to time. Liz and Chris have a wonderful condo, the walk to the slopes is very short, and they have a private locker available on the slopes to store ski gear, which makes the walk even easier.

Dean was very quick to respond and our stay was wonderful. The condo was exactly as pictured and described. It was very spacious, neat, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely be making arrangements to stay here again. Great experience! Eric

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

Fabby is a wonderful host! The beautiful unit was well stocked with everything we needed. I see the care Fabby puts into making guests very comfortable for their stay. We adored being so close to the slopes. We could see the chair lift from the balcony. I highly recommend this location. We would love to return.
