A beautiful Airbnb with a great view. We loved the view from the balcony and use of the hot tub since it was too cold to use the pool (although we did use for cold plunges). We stayed with a baby so the many stairs weren’t ideal but the living room was large enough our 1 year old could play in there with us watching as it was far enough from the stairs. I wouldn’t recommend for a toddler who is walking and requires baby gates. Loved the town and we were able to drive down to the bottom of the hill then walk along the boardwalk each day. The many restaurants and bars on the beach were great and even in February most things were open. The Airbnb was very clean.

We had a long stay 6 weeks in feb/march 25. our dog was with us for half of the stay. The house is as described, we had quite unusually wet weather for half of our stay but the climate control in the house worked really well so we could be warm in the cool evenings. The house is very cute and spacious and the roof terrace was amazing on the sunny days. Pia told us about some of the lovely walking routes and we enjoyed many of them. There is an easy walk to Competa ( once you get to the top of the village- which is pretty steep) it is fairly flat with wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. I would recommend Maro beach, it has parking ( in winter) and a small beach bar, lovely clear water where you can hire a Kayak 22 euro for 1 hour where you can see a fab waterfall that is only visible from the sea. Adrian's bar in Competa, great for cocktails, very chic. Pia was very responsive as was Chris who lived close by for any issues. A real home from home feel. we had a great time.

Zona muy tranquila , facil acceso y aparcamiento.Cerca de Sierra nevada y de la alhambra. La casa es tal cual se describe no le falta un detalle,todo super limpio, las camas son super comodas que para mí es primordial para un buen descanso.Hemos pasado 4 dias con todas las comodidades de una casa propia. Miguel su anfitrión super atento y amable para todo. si deseas pasar unos dias por la zona y visitar Granada .Te lo recomiendo 100%

Do Los Casilleros wybrałem się z żoną. Chcieliśmy na kilka dni uciec od cywilizacji. Trafiliśmy idealnie. Podczas naszej podróży w drugiej połowie września byliśmy praktycznie sami. Domy są przestronne i wyposażone we wszystko co potrzeba. Wioska Paula wygląda jak z bajki, jakbyś się przeniósł w czasie. Nie do opisania. Basen był świetnym atutem. Jest duży, czysty i z pięknym widokiem. Trzeba mieć tu samochód. Do Malagi 40 min. Nad morze do najbliższej miejscowości - Torre del Mar 20 min drogi. Paul jest przyjaznym, pomocnym człowiekiem. Mam nadzieję, że wrócimy.

Estupenda ubicación en un entorno privilegiado. La casa tenía todas las comodidades y muy bien dotada. El anfitrión siempre atento y accesible. Muy recomendable

Una estancia increíble, el alojamiento es fiel a las fotos y es un sitio tranquilo súper bonito e ideal para poder visitar todos los pueblos de La Alpujarra ya que se encuentra a pocos minutos en coche desde el alojamiento. Luis es un encanto de anfitrión, muy atento y disponible a cualquier hora y momento. Sin duda volveremos!

Un lugar maravilloso alejado de la ciudad y con el esapcio suficiente para estar relajado y felizmente, pues puedes disfrtar de la piscina y de la calma del lugar.

Juste l’endroit parfait ! Nous avons adoré cet appartement. Très bien décoré, cosy. Propre très spacieux pour deux personnes. L’extérieur est très agréable et nous avons pu profiter du beau temps pour écouter la nature. A 15 minutes de Granada, il est idéalement placé. Guillermo nous a donné de très bonne adresses. Le village est mignon et les gens sont très gentils notamment Antonio qui a une boucherie/charcuterie/épicerie. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!

Nos encantó el apartamento. La decoración es exquisita y con todo lujo de detalles. El menaje incluso es de mucha calidad, y tiene cafetera, hervidor de agua… en fin. Estuvo más allá de nuestras expectativas. Gracias por ese magnífico refugio en el centro de Granada.

El apartamento tenía todo lo necesario para que no echases en falta nada, muy equipado y acogedor. Ruth nos atendió en todo momento y cuidó el más mínimo detalle. Unas vacaciones fantásticas sin duda

Un grand merci à Alfredo pour son accueil ! Nous avons passé deux nuits dans son appartement à Grenade et tout était parfait : un logement d’une propreté irréprochable, spacieux, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, et idéalement situé en plein centre de la ville. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Grenade à pied, et le parking privé à 150 m de l’appartement est un véritable atout. Malgré sa situation centrale, l’appartement est hyper calme, on n’entend aucun bruit. Alfredo est un hôte parfait, très réactif, et les informations pour accéder à l’appartement et au parking sont claires et précises. Nous recommandons vivement !

Precioso, coqueto, acogedor y cálido apto al que no le faltaba detalle. Anfitriona muy atenta y dispuesta a solucionar cualquier problema. Muy buen ubicado con impresionantes vistas y cerca del telesilla. Por poner una pega, diría que tiene poca presión la ducha y que no tiene señalizada la puerta peatonal del garaje para subir al apto y al principio es difícil localizar cual es, pero en general es un general hemos pasado unos días muy agradables en él.

Zona calma, um pouco afastada do centro de Granada mas fácil de apanhar transportes até lá. Escolhemos este alojamento porque viajámos de carro e queríamos uma zona com estacionamento. Não foi assim muito fácil de encontrar estacionamento, mas com alguma persistência conseguimos. Talvez por ser fim de semana tenha sido um pouco mais difícil. No entanto a nossa estadia foi ótima, o apartamento é adequado para duas pessoas, com o essencial para passar uns dias. Tem ainda o bónus de ter informações acerca de transportes públicos e recomendações. O Manuel foi um ótimo anfitrião, disponível e deu instruções muito claras.

Fue todo genial! Muy bien ubicado, tranquilo, bonito e íntimo. Incluso nos ayudó a recoger un móvil que nos olvidamos allí después del check out! Muchísimas gracias! Estamos deseando repetir.

wouldn't book anywhere else. It's a shame we only stayed for the night and left early in the morning as this was the best airbnb we have stayed at during our trip. spacious rooms and a big kitchen. The hosts are also very responsive and helpful!

The place was astonishing! The balconies provided beautiful views and the opportunity to enjoy dinners outside in the calm atmosphere of the neighbourhood. The place was pristine and additionally equipped with just about any basic necessities we could have needed! The location is perfect, with multiple supermarkets, a bread factory and restaurants within walking distance!

What can I say about Craig’s place that hasn’t already been said other than if I could give it 100 stars, I would. My husband and I spent 8 nights in this slice of heaven and felt like we were on top of the world. From the inception of our reservation, we were well cared for by Craig and Georgina, who lives local and looked in on us. We wanted for nothing. The well appointed kitchen, beautiful linens, hot tub, pool (although weather made it too cold to swim) washer and the views. The VIEWS were magical and the stars and silence at night….beautiful. The hiking around Competa and Canillas was lovely. Craig’s info so helpful and the tourism office in Competa helped us with hikes also. We loved the Aquaduct hike from Canillas to Archez and the Goat Path from Comp to Can. Both easy! So much fun in Competa also. Bars and restaurants full of wonderful folks from all over the world. So welcoming. We loved Adriano’s in Competa as well as Alicat. Two fun places! Thank you Craig and Georgina!

Una casa tranquila, bien situada cerca de Granada, y cerca de Sierra Nevada. Bien equipada, hemos estado muy a gusto.

GENIAL.hemos pasado unos días estupendos. la casa es mejor que en las fotos. muy amplia y con todo lo necesario tanto dentro como en su exterior. tomar un café con esas vistas es un lujo. la zona de piscina,y barbacoa se disfruta mucho. la mejor opción para relax, desconexión y entretenimiento. Debby como anfitriona demostró gran amabilidad y nos dió flexibilidad horaria en nuestra entrada y salida. Sin duda repetiremos

We had a wonderful month long stay at Lorie’s beautiful villa. It was well equipped for all our cooking and hosting needs. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the beach (20 min) and taking day trips to nearby Nerja, Granada, Malaga, Solabrena, and further to Seville and Ronda. Watching the sunrise over the hills and sea from the front patio with the stunning view will be etched in our memories of this happy time in La Herradura. The village itself is quiet and less touristy than others but with plenty of restaurants and activities for the family. Lorie was quick to respond to all our requests and a gracious host.

Die Villa liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten mit traumhaften Pool, Olivenbäumen und Zitronenbäumen. Alles strahlt Entspannung und Ruhe aus, auch durch den Blick in die Berge. Das Haus ist liebevoll und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, und verfügt durch klassisches Geschirr, dunkles Holz, schöne Türen u.s.w. über eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Besonders das obere Schlafzimmer mit Blick in die Pinien ist sehr schön. Danke für einen erholsamen Urlaub!

The piece and quiet is hard to describe. The views are stunning. the property is immaculate. The aircon is effective if needed. The pool although not heated was fine. It is not practical to walk far from the property. The house is situated about 1/4 - 1/2 mile from the main road, along an unmade road which for the health of your suspension is probably 5 MPH. the house and views are well worth this part of the journey. Debbie airdropped the location to me, without this I probably would not have found it. It is an hour from Malaga airport with the last 12km taking 25-30minutes due to the winding roads. This means that Competa isn't flooded with tourists, but have amazing restaurants. Also I cant recommend an automatic car enough otherwise every time you go up or down the hill to the coast you will get a workout. It is easy to get to Nerja, Torrox and other towns and villages. Also believe Googles directions.
