Came to take our 8.5 year old dog to see mountains. The Garden Cottage was squeaky clean, comfy cozy, and fantastic. The flowers and plants were gorgeous; I felt like a hobbit in the shire (high compliment). We cooked every night and never were without. Excellent WiFi, quiet area. The rooms don’t have ceilings so you can hear the TV In the living room or room next to you but honestly, yall will all be tuckered out. It gave it a summer camp vibe and each room had its own fans that would drown out noise if you wanted it too (plus AC). We will certainly be back And sharing this gem with our friends.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very neat and the hot tub was a great bonus. Also, the whole area is private and cozy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Claudia did a great job of staying in touch with us when needed.

This was by far the best trip my wife and I have ever taken. We were able to totally disconnect and spend time with one another. April and Daniel really made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay the most comfortable it could be. We’re looking forward to returning in the near future!

We stayed here for my daughter’s spring break and had a great weekend! The hot tub was great and we toasted s’mores in the fire pit in the back. We also went and visited DeSoto Park just a short drive away for a fun day of hiking and hit up Mentone Market for some pizza afterwards. Such a great place for a relaxing getaway!

We had a great time exploring the area, our house was a great space to hang out in and enjoy. Plenty of room, clean and beautiful!

This place was AWESOME. Perfect for people who enjoy having both, the peace, quiet, and beauty of mountains, but also like not being too far from the city. The hot tub is everything and really made the stay amazing even when it got done to the low thirty’s. The place was clean, stuff to do on the mountain or 25 mins away go hit the city and hit Chattanooga. Host was also responsive. 10/10 experience, was perfect to bring my girlfriend and 2 kids.

My husband and I came here for our 7 year anniversary. It was lovely and peaceful. I love the imperfections of the old cottage and its cleanliness. The hot tub, kayaks, and views are lovely The kitchen was adequately stocked and beds were clean and comfy. Shower was large and hot and the washer and dryer were very helpful! The house was stocked with everything needed. We will definitely be back. The town of Mentone was just down the road and we loved the areas. There was even a gas station at the end of the street that was very convenient as well! No regrets! Just a lovely vibe and great getaway destination!

The NEW Overlook was the absolute perfect retreat from my hectic life back home, and just what I needed. I could not have asked for a more perfect accommodation or more perfect location. The view is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. I experienced some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my life from the hot tub on the back deck. Incredible! Although there are cabins on either side of the house, it is still so private. I love that you’re far enough away from things to feel so removed, yet only a 10-minute drive to charming Mentone. One thing to note: if you need any special provisions (gluten-free etc), I would highly recommend bringing those with you, as Mentone has very little. Back to the house: the kitchen was very well-appointed and lacked nothing. I loved the living room fire place, as well as the fire pit outside (reminder: pack your own firewood). I actually loved my stay so much I extended and I cannot wait to return soon!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and blankets. We loved that it was a pet friendly home. And THE VIEW!! The view was incredible. We were able to watch the sun set each evening from the deck.

Rogers place was so peaceful and he was an amazing host that was extremely flexible and kind. Would more than recommend him.

We had a great little getaway here - saw beautiful sunsets, had a huge bedroom with a very comfortable king bed, nice bathroom with large walk in shower, giant tv and cute little kitchen! We had privacy and were able to bring our dog as well!! Host was very quick to respond and friendly! We would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! What a perfect mountain getaway - we can’t wait to come back. The house is beautiful and comes with everything you need. Denise thought of everything to make us feel comfortable and is an exceptional host. We greatly appreciated her guidance and responsiveness during our stay.

We chose this place because we love Mentone, DeSoto St Park, just the whole area and I was looking for enough room for 6 of us and our dog. Our doodle vacations with us and this house was perfect with a large front yard on a quiet street. It was a meet in the middle place for our group. We like to cook, play games, puzzle, hike while we are here and Misti's place had great spaces especially for games and puzzles and was so cozy with the propane heaters and fireplace. Our power went out during the night in a storm but we were able to stay until it was restored because of the light from all the windows and we were plenty warm with the fireplace. We made use of the generous gift for breakfast for 2 at Hatter's in Mentone. Reservations are recommended for the best experience and we really had a nice time. It is a wonderfully unique place and the food was great. I loved that this was not the cookie cutter cabin but a beautiful cottage with attention to detail. We would happily return.

Wow! My experience and sentiments are the same as most all others that have left reviews here. The accommodations were clean, welcoming, comfortable, quiet and filled with fun, whimsical decor. The opportunity to leisurely roam the garden made this trip one to be cherished and shared so that others can experience it. Paradise Garden at night (magical!) and during daylight (awe-mazing!). Thank You PGF for the passion to maintain this treasured space.

There were some things missing in the kitchen, but Danielle took care of that the very next morning. She communicated with me well and was so very helpful.

My team and I liked it very much. Everything is at the highest level. I will be glad to return to this house again.

We were upgraded to the upstairs of the Cove house. The experience spoiled my family and we had a wonderful time.

This was home was extremely beautiful, Megan was always so responsive and helpful no matter the hour. We had a lot of fun and overall it was a loving experience. Thank you Megan and we hope to be back for the summer.

Our stay at Kerry’s place was perfect! It was even more beautiful in person even though the pictures were so good. We had the best time fishing and hanging out. They literally thought of everything. We didn’t need a thing while we were there. Already booked our next getaway weekend at his place.

This place was like going to your grandparents. They have all the snacks, and anything else you need. The yard is spacious and our little girl enjoyed playing in it immensely. This place is meant for relaxing and that's exactly what we did.

This Airbnb is a perfect stay close to the lake and the mountain.
