Joe made us feel welcome right away and they responded to everyone of our needs in a timely manner. We’ve never been there before and they helped us navigate our way to the destinations. Great for a large family with a very well equipped kitchen. There were nice sized TVs for rainy daysand quick access to all the stores we need to get to. We loved every minute and appreciated our Host being so friendly. Great for a long stay!

The house was gorgeous! Also, Nicole was an amazing host. She made sure to make us feel at home and was very responsive to all of the questions that we have.

Joe's place feels like a real home - many AirBnBs can feel like a hotel with a little more space - Joe's house was not that! Complete with a ton of my personal favorite books, tons of kitchen utensils/supplies, a desk, and more. The huge fenced in backyard was perfect for grilling and our dogs. The location is right off of a main road that takes you to shopping/amenities within minutes. If you're looking for a great place to feel comfortable while visiting Sarasota, we'd recommend Joe's property to anyone!

We LOVED our stay here. Close to everything, yet have your own peaceful space. We walked to coffee every morning, then gelato at night. Beach and restaurants super close. Always something to do. We had a car with us, but didn't really drive when we were there....took the trolly, which was great! The neighborhood is charming and filled with the best neighbors! Would love to come back!!

Amazing place. We had wonderful time here, felt like at home. House was very clean. My nephew loved Pokémon game in the living room. A lot of toys for kids. We spent most of the time playing games, fishing and kayaking. Cj is a wonderful host, very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place, and I hope we will stay here again.

The house/location/amenities were all as advertised—very clean and included everything you could need. We loved the fenced in yard, canal water access, and available kayaks. We will recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful home on a canal front with lots of amenities, pool and hot tub ,horseshoe & cornhole. Looked like the pictures. Beachy & clean. Easy check in was easy with code. Toilet and outdoor shower outside by pool area. Had some issues with that pool heater but the pool guy was out right away fixing it. Definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a quiet, peaceful location.

This was a great place to stay for the week, very clean and quiet. Good location to get to either side of the island and the beach. Having the golf cart and beach gear was very helpful! Lynda was a great host.

We specifically booked this home to support the community after last year’s hurricanes. As expected, some areas are still recovering—Stump Pass Park was closed during our stay, which was a letdown, but we still made the most of our time here. If you’re looking for beach amenities, this place had everything. I was especially impressed with the shelling gear—that was a big reason we chose this spot, and it didn’t disappoint! While we didn’t get to use the kayaks due to high winds and handicap access issues, we found other fun activities, including a dolphin tour that was a highlight of the trip. The home is a tri-unit property, and while there were guests in the other units the entire time, it still felt peaceful and private. The house was clean overall, though we did notice a bit of dust in the bedroom and bathroom—nothing major for us. I would absolutely stay here again, especially once everything is fully back up and running and the park reopens!

We love this little cottage! The view from the back is phenomenal - we even saw a couple gators. The set up is so good for pets. The cottage has everything you need and the primary bed is more comfortable than a hotel bed. 10/10 and would def stay here again!

Mike place was within walking distance to the beach. My 12 yr old son rode the bike there that was provided. We also enjoyed riding bikes at night though the small beach town. We walked over to the bay to see dolphins playing daily. The condo was nice and well furnished as well as the kitchen.

Absolutely fantastic stay! This Airbnb is a gem, located just 8 minutes away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. The cleanliness of the place is impeccable – it was super duper clean and well-maintained. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. From a fully stocked kitchen to cozy linens and even beach gear, they've got it all covered. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

Very nice place to stay. Perfect location to the beaches and nice restaurants/hang out spots that were very close. Very quiet and peaceful. September is a quiet month - not lots of tourists. Lovely place that was clean and nicely decorated. My only issue was that the shower water never got above luke warm. I like hot showers. Otherwise, very nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend.

Location is great, less than 2 minute, very easy walk, to the beach. Quiet street and properties on either side were not disturbing. There is no grass, so if you bring your furbaby, there are walkable areas to let them do their business. The house itself was very clean and not cluttered. Kitchen is well stocked. There is a great washer/dryer combo. There is no screen for the pool, but a quick daily skimming was sufficient. The pool was clean....no algae. There's a beach cart, chairs, floats, beach towels, etc there, so no need to bring your own. The house is older and in the afternoons it gets very warm (78-80) despite keeping blinds closed and setting ac at 74. We were there in the middle of August and we live in the South so are used to the heat so it wasn't that big of a deal for us. There was a box fan that we used.

The Cottage on the Bay was exactly as described. It was very inviting, clean and comfortable. Jack and Carmen were the most hospitable hosts that you could ever meet on your journey. Their communication as hosts was excellent and prompt from the beginning and throughout my stay. They explained that a welcome gift of food and drink is provided for each guest. I explained my food allergies to them. Jack thoughtfully provided substitutions for me instead. The kitchen had a generous array of utensils, pots, pans and essentials. This was an excellent plus for me since cooking was necessary due to my allergies. I considered the location excellent because it is near the airport. This made transportation convenient anywhere from there. The views of the Sarasota Bay sunset were wonderful. I loved walking around the scenic and quiet area. I enjoyed the best vacation stay at the Cottage. Jack & Carmen's hospitality and care took this trip over the top. They are the total package, 💯!
