Second time we've booked this house, genuinely one of our faves!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb property, and I can’t recommend it enough! The rooms were not only spacious but also exceptionally comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Each room featured its own ensuite bathroom, adding a layer of convenience and privacy that we truly appreciated. The common areas were large and impeccably clean, providing a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation or gathering with family and friends. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the amazing pool – it was the perfect spot for unwinding and soaking up the sun. Overall, this property provided an exceptional experience, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

We came to hermanus very last minute from the UK for a family bereavement and booked Petro’s place for the time we were there. It was such a perfect space. Petro met us as we arrived and showed us round and made us feel so at home. The house is amazingly kitted out with everything and more. The rooms are spacious and really clean. The garden is so beautiful with a gorgeous pool. It really ticked all of the boxes and made our time away really easy and as restful as possible in a challenging time. Petro was so accommodating and generous i would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to stay again.

The place was great for our family of 10! We enjoyed it and would definitely go back. The only major issues were that the place needs some maintenance as it is an older house and the chemicals in the pool was really strong so it made it a bit difficult for the kids. But overall we had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed the house, it is spacious but still homely!

We had such a great time at Ciska’s place!! She made a huge effort to make sure we had everything we needed for our family with 2 young kids. The house has such a relaxed vibe, is super comfortable and well equipped. Safe neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, fun beaches… best vacation ever!!

This was a weekend of a lifetime.. This house is so lovely and we all immediately felt at home. So much thoughtfulness has gone into creating the home. Sitting in the heated indoor/under cover pool with a view of the mountain, while watching our friend doing the bbq/braai was one of those moments of shere gratefulness. It was a double blessing that we had a weekend with out wind in Betty's Bay. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us!

One of the very few AirBnBs where you just immediately feel at home. Everything is stocked the way you would do your own home. The knives are plentiful and sharp, there’s plenty of glasses and plates and everything. They’ve also created such wonderful different spaces around the house, so that by the end of the day you felt like you’ve been in 4 or 5 different homes. The views, the braai, everything is just perfect.

A lovely, spacious and very well equipped beach house in a very peaceful, quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. A short stroll from the coast and Davie’s pool - a great place for a dip and to watch the sun go down. Some good restaurants and shops in Onrus and a huge shopping mall between Onrus and Hermanus. If you’re worried about security- don’t be…. The property is fully alarmed but everyone we met were so polite and friendly! Corneil and Rachelle were excellent, responsive hosts. We had a great holiday here. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

The place is clean and well kept. It is very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there. It is well located in a safe and secure complex, close to the shooping centre, the beach, the main road to Hermanus. I'll definately recomend it

We stayed on the property for a week and it was an amazing experience. Pictures don’t give justice to the sea view. Property highly recommended for anybody thinking to rent .

We spent a week at Aline’s place and what a lovely experience! The house is beautiful, spacious and has a fully stocked kitchen (which was a bonus for me!) The finishings of the house are beautiful, making it feel very homey. The host was helpful, friendly and always responsive. We are definitely keen to come back again :)

Lovely home with excellent location close to the cliff path, Grotto Beach and Dutchies. Kitchen is very well equipped and caters to a lovely relaxed atmosphere and vibe. We had a great time however struggled with the sun in the mornings in the bedrooms with thin/shear curtains waking us up much earlier than we would’ve liked.

We had a great time at Jean and Andre's. we enjoyed the massive space and unique architecture and if course the sea starts right behind the house so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves - which I loved!

We had a lovely stay at the beautiful home. All you need to feel at home. Lovely area and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen is well equipped but remember to bring the basics with. We enjoyed the swimming pool and indoor braai. The garden is beautiful and peaceful and we loved all the birds. We had such a lovely stay we already rebooked.

Toni’s place was so beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. She was a lovely host and very responsive. Would definitely be back!

Definitely great for what we needed. Will definitely be back if we need space like that again. Lots of nice spaces for each of us to have a quiet spot when needed.

Het was een mooi, comfortabel huis met leuke terrassen met zicht op zee. Volledig uitgeruste keuken. Grote, aangename slaapkamers. Alle comfort. We hebben er graag verbleven. Nadine reageerde snel als we iets wilde vragen.

Wonderful host and lovely house, very unique character. The kitchen took me right back to my young days - exactly like our house was growing up, so lovely memories came back. Big rooms and ample space, including a pool table for evening fun. Smart TV, books to read and games to play, and a lovely fireplace, makes this the ideal winter getaway. Close to the beach to take the dogs for a walk and relax in summer also The garden is lovely and the security good, so we felt at home and the dogs loved running around. All in all a great but too short stay. Highly recommended and we'll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Tranquility heights for a week in January. Very private and peaceful with amazing views. The only challenge would be the steep stairs to access the house for anyone mobility challenged. We loved being close to nature and "away from it all". The house was very clean and comfortable. Tanya was a very helpful Host. There are walking trails on your doorstep although we did not do any of them having elderly parents with us.

The house is clean, comfortable and spacious. It has everything you need for self-catering. There was more than enough space for us and our 3 kids. Lovely view of the mountain. The best part is the location. Voelklip is quiet and safe. It's only a 15min walk to Kammabaai, cliff paths, other beaches and a 5min drive from the town centre. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again in the future. Thanks Cara & Kalli for being excellent hosts!
