Just what we needed after a long day of traveling and car trouble. Sanet was helpful and flexible with our check-in time of 10pm! A very near and clean stay, well worth the money for an overnight accommodation stay just off the main road.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Chargo. We received a friendly welcome, the rooms were comfortable and the food good. An unexpected bonus to see so many Rhino on the game drive, as well as Sable, Giraffe, Lechwe, Kudu, duiker and other buck. Thank you.

The Dusty Vine is a beautifully and delicately restored old tuinhuis, boasting national monument status. The restoration work is exceptional, blending the old-world character with modern comfort seamlessly. A highlight for us were the very tastefully, modern renovated bathrooms and updated kitchen boasting everything you could need for a self catering option. The property includes a lovely cottage as a second en-suite bedroom, connected to the main house through a wonderful central courtyard. If you're planning a stay in Philippolis, The Dusty Vine is a definite must. It offers a unique experience of history, comfort, and tranquility. Highly recommended!

Jeanette’s place was a fantastic overnight stop. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom featured a great walk-in shower. I especially appreciated that Jeanette had menus from most of the nearby restaurants in the apartment, making dining choices easy. The restaurants are all within walking distance, and the location is very central. Plus, the place is right across from a stunning church, adding to the charm.

Wonderful, friendly, clean, welcoming. You can't ask for a better way to end a long day of driving than to stay the night at this oasis.

Absolutely stunning view! The house is definitely on a difficult road between Pillopolis and Gariepdam but worth the drive and privacy. It was very hot when we stayed but apparently that is not normal. Stephan and his wife made the best of it and even offered for us to braai. The home is a little outdated but clean. It is very spacious and can fit large families. Stephan sent clear instructions for us to get to the house because the address on Airbnb is incorrect. it is not near anything in town.
