Vanuatu : locations de vacances avec salon de jardin

This was just what I wanted! A week in the middle of nowhere with good internet for a working holiday. Since it is so isolated, I had my taxi driver stop at the grocery store for breakfast foods on my way to Banana Bay and brought lots of my own snacks for lunch and then just ate dinner on site. The restaurant food was good, but mostly pizzas and burgers/sandwiches, so I was wishing there was a bit more variety by the end of the week, but I am not a big foodie, so no real complaints. (And the veggie pizza and the Aussie burger were my favorites, so definitely give those a try if you can!) Since I did not have a car, I hired Greg from EBikes Vanuatu one day for a scooter ride around parts of the island and that was super fun! I highly recommend! Overall, I would for sure come back and probably spend 4 nights there and 2 nights in town for a bit more variety. But it was a lovely stay all in all and Kris and her mum Carollynne were fantastic hosts!

Bill's place was amazing and it exceeded our expectations. It actually looked better than the photos. Agnes took great care of us and was so welcoming and helpful. Loved the papaya and bananas. Great deal and fully recommended.

Everything positive that others have written about Carmen and her place is true. When you arrive in a new country, the best thing is to be greeted at the airport by a friendly face and taken to accommodation that has all of your needs catered for, right down to there being breakfast supplies… and that what we got from this Airbnb. We only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the location - although the taco restaurant up the road had some nice food. Thank you Carmen and Roger

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at Hibiscus Retreat. It was perfect for a quiet relaxing get away. The accommodation was fantastic, with windows all around and the view from the veranda was excellent of the bay. The grounds were very well kept up and beautiful. Tricia and Russell were excellent hosts, and went above and beyond to help us navigate Luganville for groceries, and medical needs. We used the kayaks and had great snorkeling right off the beach. We went to the Plantation for lunch one day and were treated wonderfully with a delicious meal served. We were given great advice from Tricia and Russell for places to go once we got back to Santo island. If you are looking for a beautiful location that is quiet, peaceful and very relaxing I would recommend Hibiscus Retreat. Also worth mentioning it has a full fridge and stove as well as a barbecue to self cater your meals.

Namele Villas are spectacular and our family had an amazing holiday here. The Villas are fully equipped with all the necessities. The location is very close to town, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. We spent the days by the pool and snorkelling in the ocean discovering the beautiful fish and coral on the reef - with lots of equipment provided including kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear. Deborah was a very gracious and attentive host and Robert was very helpful during our stay. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

from our initial booking request to his personal farewell at checkout, owner Colin was always on hand with great recommendations, a detailed compendium and just letting us "be" at our own peral whilst at Watermark. our island hosts, Nolan & Fanny, was just a short walk (or text) away to give further insight to Moso Island and its Ni-Van, while we also got the most delectable home made meals delivered from Fanny's Kitchen! you can spend the whole day admiring the craftsmanship of Watermark from the verandah, snorkel up & down the house reef, have a stroll to the nearby Tasseriki- & Sunaï villages, go turtle & dugong spotting or try kava at a local nakamal (Bamboo bar's the best)... whatever you do, just book, you will most definitely find paradise!

We loved our two weeks at Lonnoc Beach bungalows with Kalmer and his family. We had a spot right on the beach front to camp. There is wifi included in the price and use of kayaks for free :) we had clean showers and a toilet and the restaurant was available if we needed it. If you fly into Santo get to Luganville town and jump in a public minibus, they usually leave after 2.30pm and will cost you only 500vt each. Then during your stay you can hitch hike to and from town or along the east coast for 500 per person. The luganville market have great fruit and veg for cheap too - mango’s and pomello’s for 15p!! During our stay we felt part of the community, making friends with Kalmers big family, going to church, eating with them and sharing stories. We definitely recommend camping here (if you have your own tent) and you’re on a budget but want to travel to Vanuatu.

Colin’s place is a paradise for water lovers and those truly ready to unwind and have a remote and peaceful holiday. Great communications and appreciated the additional touches to keep our family entertained (paddle board, board games…etc). I would recommend having a car as not too many things are walkable. Great views and access to private beach! Make sure you bring bug spray!!
