This was my second time staying at Marco’s place. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, hassle-free experience in a real Cuban neighborhood with incredible surroundings. This is an impeccably kept home, with vintage Cuban styling and comforts. The neighborhood is safe, steps to restaurants, entertainment and shopping. For those who are traveling to Veradero for the first time, this is the part of the peninsula where you will be closest to real Cuban life. And Marco’s house is an excellent place to experience it.

très belle maison proche de la plage. propre et calme. les hôtes sont très sympas et vous recommandent des restos sympas pas cher aux alentours. très satisfait je recommande.

Excelente ubicación si quieres conocer el pueblo de varadero A unos 4 min está la playa con acceso y muy cerca hay muchas opciones de comida rica y económica.

El alojamiento está muy bien, cuidando mucho la limpieza y la comodidad. Rolando tiene buen trato y es atento a tus demandas.

I stayed in the apartment that includes the living room and kitchen. It is very spacious, and well worth the price. Nice restaurants are near by, and the pool at the house is a nice option for a quick dip. I would recommend this place.

Wat een geweldige plek, wij waren na de drukte van Cienfuegos wel toe aan meer rust. Dit hebben we bij La China wel gevonden, wel kraait de haan al om 04 uur maar dit vonden wij niet erg, als je hier niet tegen kan dan moet je oordopjes meenemen. China is een geweldige kok, heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt 1 avond. Strand is vlakbij en op het strand is het ook rustig. Op zondag komen er ook meer locals naar het strand maar dan nog is het rustig. China heeft voor ons geregeld dat we konden gaan snorkelen, dit was een leuke ervaring. Als wij ooit terug komen naar Varadero dan graag bij deze Casa.

Loved the location and Mayuli was super kind and helpful. She even took the time to arrange a taxi for me to go to Varadero and also made me a snack before I went on my way to my next destination.

Our hosts, Otto and Lidi, received us with open arms. They were so easy to talk to and always made themselves available for anything we needed. Super welcoming and nice. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean and beautiful. When the power went out, the backup generators kicked on automatically so we had no issues with lighting. My only critique is that the house presented itself as a standalone home when really it’s a series of bedrooms that are connected to what I would describe as a small housing complex. Multiple family members, along with Otto and Lidi, living on the premises so there wasn’t exactly a house let alone to ourselves. In all, it was good and we are super appreciative for the stay.

Ottima esperienza! Siamo molto contenti di avere conosciuto una famiglia così ospitale ed amichevole. Forse leggermente sotto gli standard per noi europei... la cucina era economica e qualche formichina girava qua e là, ma sei ai tropici se non ti adatti non venirci, gli insetti sono quasi dappertutto. Comunque grazie per essere stati semplicemente meravigliosi Liz e famiglia (mamma Raquel e papà Lazzaro) sono vivamente consigliati. Ci hanno trovato praticamente di tutto e si sa che a Cuba fare la spesa è molto complicato. Grazie Gracias ed a presto.

Excellent place to stay, close to main attractions in Varadero beach, all the resorts, restaurants, bars and places to have a vibrant night. Fermin, the person who received me is very kind and caring, he personally engages and makes his best to make you feel like home! Thanks for that!

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Alles war wie angegeben. sehr sauber und die Betten waren gemütlich. Der Strand und die örtlichen Bars sind schnell zu Fuß ereichbar.

Mari is a charming and helpful host. the place is very comfortable and quiet, with plenty of space for a large group to spread out and enjoy the privacy of the extensive patio and gardens. Beach, shops, and restaurants are nearby. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms cozy. Mari even helped us with some remedies for upset stomach.

Excelente experiencia en la Casa de Yorgis, Varadero Tuve el placer de alojarme en la Casa de Yorgis en Varadero y, sin duda, fue una de las mejores decisiones de mi viaje. Desde el momento en que llegamos, Yorgis fue increíblemente amable y acogedor, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos con cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Nos hizo sentir como en casa, con su calidez y atención al detalle. La casa en sí estaba en perfecto estado. Todo estaba limpio, ordenado y bien cuidado, lo que nos dio mucha confianza y comodidad. Las habitaciones eran amplias, luminosas y perfectamente equipadas, con todo lo necesario para hacer nuestra estancia lo más agradable posible. Además, la casa tiene un ambiente muy acogedor y relajante, lo que hizo que cada día fuera aún más placentero. La ubicación también es excelente, cerca de las principales atracciones y playas de Varadero, pero en un ambiente tranquilo y privado. La casa tiene un bonito jardín, perfecto para disfrutar de una tarde tranquila. Volveré

We have stayed in Veradero many times and this was the first time we decided to stay off the strip and we were not disappointed. This place was more than we expected. Located right in the best place for town, but just one street away from the hustle and bustle was perfect for going out or staying in and relaxing on the big beautiful porch with sunset views over the city. We were greeted immediately with smiles and a helpful hand to get us to our rental without any worry. We were welcomed with a refreshing beverage and great conversation as we got to know that we were in good hands. The breakfast was amazing, which we go every day we were so pleased. A discount at the family restaurant was also offered to guests only and we found it to be one of the best places in Santa Marta and Veradero to eat. Just google the Mojito and see what an amazing place it is. The roast traditional Cuban pork was amazing and was very romantic as 2 guitar men played love songs in the restaurant as we ate. They took requests so we started to have more fun when our meal was done. The room had hot water for both our showers and the water pressure was awesome compared to alot of places i stayed and awesome TV's with USB port so we watched our own movies on a rain day. We will definitely return to this new found Gem just minutes from the beach. I cannot say enough for the respect i have for these people and how they made my wife and I's stay so special.
