La maison est très bien située à 5 minutes de l embarcadère pour l île d Hornoya pour photographier les oiseaux marins. Le logement est parfaitement agencé et meublé. La literie est confortable ainsi que les nombreux fauteuils. Vivian c ‘est montrée très réactive à chacune de nos demandes. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement à Vardø.

This place is full of magic! We had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the lovely cabin apartment, the wonderful view and the relaxing hot tub! The host Lone is very friendly and full of love! We will definitely miss this place!!! Check out their floating sauna in the harbour of Vardo as well, it is just great! Thank you for everything!

Vi bodde på Oyster-Catcher mandag til fredag, i slutten av september og vi er utrolig fornøyd med vårt opphold her. Utsikten var fantastisk, uansett vær. Vi følte oss som hjemme i hytten og her var alt vi trengte av utstyr etc. Det var vakkert og fredelig her på Ekkerøy og det var fantastisk å være så nær havet. Mye fint å se her, et eldorado for foto-interesserte! Ingjerd var hyggelig og hjelpsom og ga oss gode tips for vår ferd videre til Vardø. Vi kommer tilbake, gjerne for å oppleve en annen årstid her på Ekkerøy. Takk for oss!

For our stay, this was perfect. The apartment was a good size and very clean, on arrival. Jan even left us pastries in the morning , which was a pleasant surprise. Quiet and peaceful for when we had to sleep during the day after begin out in the Hare Hide all night.

Sjarmerende og trivelig varangerhus. Nydelig beliggenhet i nærhet av den flotte stranda på ekkerøy, samt fuglefjellet. Anbefales virkelig!

Had a great time! I wanted peace and quiet and fantastic sea view. The interior of the cabin was both tasteful and had the right amount of exclusivity. The kitchen and cooking facilities were top notch and then some. A blend of new and modern with some almost antique and classic looking furniture gave the nearly minimalistic space an exquisite and personal feel. The beds were absolutely perfect and way beyond what is normal in any contemporary hotel. This was really a home away from home.

We enjoyed every single minute in this beautiful cozy house with stunning views. Lots of birds and also hares around the house. For a nature lover the location is perfect. The house is extremely good equipped. Hope to return as soon as possible. Thanks Mette!
