Wonderful luxury cottage perched high on the mountain, close to everything, but with spectacular views over Akureyri and the fjord. Modern, clean and well stocked with amenities, including a hot tub and laundry. Arnor was very responsive and easy to work with, gave great suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

We had a magical couple of days at the hidden cottage. We came up to the north hoping to do some skiing with the kids. We had a beautiful drive up from Reykjavík and drove into a valley creeping into spring. We woke the next morning to a thick blanket of snow! It meant it was tricky to leave the cottage with our vehicle but the kids enjoyed a day in the snow and a bit of a hike up the valley. The cottage was clean, comfy and warm with beautiful views and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was fun. When we had to leave early the next day and were worried about the roads, Lea was extremely helpful. After a bit of snow shovelling we got on our way. The 4x4 we hired managed the main road into town no problem. We enjoyed looking around Siglufjordur on the way in and went via Akuyreyri on the way home where the kids had a fun swim and we managed to get on the slopes in the afternoon. We rented ski equipment on site. Wish we had had a couple more days to explore the towns a bit more!

Oh gosh, this is probably one of the cutest, coziest spots I stayed at in Iceland. I originally booked for one night but the second I walked in I decided to extend my stay by another night. This place is perfect. I loved the heated floors, the decor and the tiny little dishwasher. Everything was spotless and very, very cozy. The surrounding sea is super peaceful. Kolla is also very nice and helpful if you need anything. I would love to return someday!!

We loved staying in Daníels cabin! He is an incredible host, friendly and helpful and welcoming. We felt comfortable and welcome from the start and he provided us with anything we needed. The cabin itself was very warm, spacious and had everything we needed and more. There were beautiful big windows all throughout the place where we could gaze outside at the stars and northern lights. We also enjoyed the hot tub outside and the sauna, and the location was peaceful. The perfect getaway!

This was our second time staying there. Always super amazing to spend time there, thank you!

Mon ami et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce petit chalet de compagne Islandaise. Zuleyma a été très actif a nous répondre lorsque nous en avions besoin et très compréhensif. Le chalet est simple mais possède une superbe vue sur la mer et les montagnes et les voisins sont très gentils, y compris les animaux qui se baladent de temps en temps. Facile d'accès en voiture, proche d'une petite ville portuaire très sympathique a visiter a pieds. Si j'ai l'occasion de revenir en Islande, ce logement sera mon lieu de prédilection. Very nice and tidy accomodation, excellent to make daytrips to Myvatn or Husavik. Bathroom is a bit small. The family helped us with the hot pot that was quite nice.

Πολύ όμορφο σπίτι, όπως ακριβώς περιγράφεται. Δεν είναι ανακαινισμενο αλλά έχει όλα τ απαραίτητα για μια όμορφη διαμονή. Είναι σε ήσυχο σημείο πάνω στη λίμνη!! Δεν έχει πολυτέλεια αλλά δεν μας ενόχλησε! Το συστήνω ιδιαίτερα για να δείτε το βόρειο σέλας!!!
