Had visited the place for 2 nights with my wife and dog, the place is exactly the way it was described and is in a peaceful and private location. Its recommended you have your own private vehicle to get around as the place is little more than 1km away from highway/ main road. There are restaurants around to go and eat food, one restaurant food can get delivered to the stay by the caretaker. Caretaker Deepak is very helpful and responsive. Overall i loved the place and would consider booking again if i am around again. Thanks to Nikhil and Deepak for making our stay memorable and peaceful.

If you are someone who loves to be in nature this place is for you. The house is surrounded by trees, touched by river & its blissful sound all day long. The hosts are amazing. They sent someone to pick us up, so finding property was super easy. As soon as we reached Mr. Rajput welcomed us with a big smile & roses. He briefed us about the property. Sitting by the river was the most blissful part of our stay. Rooms are clean & have everything you need during the stay. Rooms have view of the river. The food was homemade, Organic & Delicious. Hosts made us feel at home. I recommend booking this stay, 100% you wont regret :)

The staycation felt extremely cosy and welcoming! Peaceful environment, clean spacious rooms, great hospitality of staff and beautifully maintained space. Loved the artefacts that enhance the beauty of the place even more. The provision of hammocks, swimming pool and walks along the greenery made my day. Me and my group enjoyed the place. Also the hosts were proactive in helping us with suggestions for places to visit and make our journey even more enjoyable. Food arrangement was delicious and reflected the beauty of maharashtrian cuisine that we were looking for!! Thank you Revathi Vilas's team for making our stay a memorable one!!

It was a superb stay … a must visit place … location is very much beautiful… check in and check out procedure is very much easy … host is superb … property is cleaned well equipped… very much close to all famous kokani food joints … had wonderful stay my parents and kids enjoyed a lot

We had a great stay -the apartment was very comfortable, spacious and with an amazing view from the balcony. Advait as a host was very responsive and friendly, giving us great tips on what to do and good places to eat. His father kindly lent us some birding books - we were able to do birdwatching from the balcony and even saw an Asian Paradise Flycatcher early in the morning. We would definitely recommend this place, thank you Advait!

The house is a very beautiful place with very beautiful surroundings. The owner takes a lot of care about your well-being (asks you by call often), the housemaid comes every day to clean the house and the neighbour is very helpful and lovely. You will meet every almost every neighbour in that peaceful village. The beach is a dream and just 10/15 min by walk.

I had an incredible stay at Shekhar Villa. This peaceful beautiful property is a step away from a clean tranquil beach. We enjoyed a walk by the ocean, met friendly local fishermen, and watched the sunset from the Gajabadevi temple. We thoroughly enjoyed authentic fish thali and Malvani veg thali prepared by Ms Deepali. The host Ms Vanita Ma'am was in constant touch ensuring everything was perfect. Just make sure to carry some snacks with you since there are no eateries close by. However, The house was maintained properly including clean bathrooms. Thought it was a spontaneous trip turned into a memorable experience :)

This is a great place to relax and have a nice quite vacation. We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. The host is very welcoming and helpful. The property is very well maintained and in a very peaceful location. Shailesh kaka, the owner is an amazing host. Always available for you and will provide you solutions for everything. He arranged for an escort (Shinde kaka) to come with us to the fish market at the jetty to help us select fish. Shinde kaka then prepared the fish for us also. It was absolutely delicious. Shailesh kaka also guided us with tips of what to see around Ratnagiri. In all we had a great stay. Pros: - peaceful and clean property - all amenities in working conditions - amazing hosts Cons: - Property is a bit far from Ratnagiri and Ganpatipule - food can be improved

Beautiful place and well mainatined home. Rooms were spacious, clean and common room was very well managed. Whole place was maintained well and it seems Niyoti had put lot of efforts in chossing the kind of artifacts used. Place is exaclty same as it was shown in pics. Terrace was spacious, at one end you can watch the sun rise , green plantation across and during evening you can watch the sun set , sitting and admiring the calm sea. our family liked the place very much and it was like our home for days we spent there. Niyoti and Vinay were always easy to reach and helped as when needed. Place is near to Sea. In the night clear sky with stars around and nearby sea sound gives a very different peace of mind. Thanks Niyoti and Vinay for keeping the place in such a beautiful and organized manner. In future if we will come again then we will stay at this place.
