We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

My sister and I spent five nights in this tiny home on Vaxholm. The location is perfect. We were lucky with the weather, so we had our breakfast in the garden right next to the sea every morning, and sometimes enjoyed the evening sun there too. It's also easy walking distance to the ferry. The house is very simple but nicely decorated and has the basics you need. The kitchen is fine for cooking simple meals but isn't really big/equipped enough to cook big meals (we tested it to its limits). We'd recommend walking around the island, and around the Bogesund reserve across the water; visiting the Hembygdsgårds café ☕; seeing the sunset at Eriksöbadet; and catching a ferry to Grinda. Take note, the online ferry timetables are a bit useless, just go to the port! We also hired a bike one day and cycled ~60km around the Bogesund area, which we really enjoyed. 🚲 Thank you for a lovely stay! 🌞

Elzbieta and Bill were fantastic hosts. They were very accommodating and always fast to respond. I would highly recommend staying at their place.

We have stayed in about 30 AirBnBs but this was our favorite. The rooms caught the morning sunshine through to the evening sunset, everything was so spacious and comfortable. The location was blissful, yet within an easy drive of Vaxholm and Stockholm. Supermarket close by. We all felt so relaxed.

Maria’s place is ideally located by car or public transport with great amenities near by, I would recommend car however the bus was just as easy for us. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Maria and her family as it was self check-in ( which was ideal given our late arrival ) however communication was perfect, all my questions were answered super fast and even with some last minute hints on where to get supplies. The house suited our little family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children [2yr, 4yr] ) extremely well, and we were more than comfortable, it really did feel like a home away from home. When we come back to Stockholm we’ll certainly be checking to see if Maria’s place is available again!!

Krásny apartmán. Cítili sme sa tam perfektne ani sa nám z neho nechcelo odísť. Apartmán bol čistý. Pred apartmánom je bezplatné parkovanie. Kľudná štvrť. Autom kúsok od Štokholmu. Pri ďalšej pracovnej ceste sa určite vrátime. 🙃

Beautiful place in a charming area! I loved exploring Vaxholm and the nearby island, and transit to Stockholm is easy, as there is a direct bus. Evie is a great host!

Lovely stay in Nevila’s apartment in Vaxholm! Comfortable beds with fresh linens and all necessary conveniences, and the apartment was meticulously kept and clean. Flott, stor og pen leilighet. Hadde alt vi trengte. Hadde koselige frokoster i vinterhagen. Båt og togtransport til byen innen kort avstand. Fredelige og rolige omgivelser. Hyggelig og lett kommunikasjon med verten. Gav virkelig inntrykk av at han ønskte at vi skulle kose oss i leiligheten og på stedet. Kan anbefalest.

Sara is the great host. Very quick to respond to our questions, she gave us very good suggestions on local attractions. House is spacious and well equipped. Das Apartment hat eine super Lage! Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen und das Stadtviertel bietet viele Cafés und Restaurants. Das Apartment sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern und hat alle nötigen Ausstattung! Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden gewesen:) Der Gastgeber ist super hilfsbereit und sehr flexibel, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat.

Great for a long weekend stay to explore the city of Stockholm. Perfect location in terms of walkability to all the must-see sights and very cozy neighbourhood with lots of F&B venues around. Recommend!

Leiligheten var stilig, ren og godt utstyrt, og beliggenheten var super. Verten var vennlig og informativ og svarte alltid raskt.

L’appartement est idéalement bien placé à proximité des métro, du train 40 direct Arlanda, et des bus très pratiques. Le salon est grand et agréable, la cuisine est fonctionnelle. L’appartement dispose de 4 chambres, dont 2 avec de vrais lits : la chambre parentale avec un grand lit, et une des chambres enfant avec lit une place. Comme indiqué sur l’annonce, les 2 autres chambres ont des lits en mezzanine accessibles par rampe d’escalade ou échelle raide. La salle de bain comporte une douche style italienne avec le toilette et lavabo. Un peu juste pour 4 personnes quand on doit se préparer tous en même temps. L’annonce a du être modifiée mais je m’attendais à une baignoire. Deception. Torbjörn a été très disponible par message malgré la distance. La serrure connectée est très pratique pour éviter de devoir jongler avec des clés. Je recommande ce logement mais pensez que 2 des lits ne sont pas utilisables par tout le monde (ni trop petits ni trop grands)

This is a really special find. The flat is roomy with a high ceiling (if anything the photos underplay the space). It’s a stylish, creative place, cleverly furnished and the kitchen very well kitted-out. The outside area is leafy and green, great for kids and meals in warm weather - or just sitting and reading. The garden is accessible from the kitchen and opens out to the middle of a courtyard with a nice area connected to the flat as well as an added communal space with a big table, treehouse and slide which in a week we saw no-one else use. The location is the best we’ve ever stayed in in Stockholm, near Centrum as well as lots of parks and was an excellent first time introduction to the city for our 6 year old daughter. It’s Katja’s living space (which is where Airbnb is best) and everything is well tucked away with a decent amount of storage for guests. Two bedrooms tucked away on one side and another bedroom connected to the living area and its huge(!) sofa. Very much recommend.

we hebben het fantastisch gehad. Het huisje is gezellig en prettig. De sauna is ook heel fijn. Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk en bij vertrek kregen we een zakje gedroogde eigen appels mee, heel lief. Kortom: een aanrader!

We were warmly welcomed by Peter and his gentle dog, the room is clean, the decoration is neat, and we've got everything we need in the kitchen. Peter is very generous and friendly - he offered us a lot of local information and even allowed us to check in early. The surrounding environment is also very beautiful and quiet. Living here is definitely a pleasure! Thank you Peter!

Wonderfully adorned and a perfect place to stay for a small family. The space is very well-equipped and has a great little toy bin for the little ones to keep busy. It's in a fun location close to a couple accessible bus stops and lots to do around in Sodermalm. Would definitely stay again. We had a fantastic time.
