A Home Away from Home – A Truly Wonderful Stay! Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb was nothing short of amazing! The house itself is even more stunning than it appears in the pictures. It radiates such a warm, homely vibe that we instantly felt at ease. Despite not having an AC, the house remained naturally cool, making our stay incredibly comfortable, even in the March heat. What truly made this experience special was Gopakumar Sir and his wife. They are such wonderful hosts - kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like family. They not only greeted us with warmth but also guided us to nearby attractions, ensuring we never had to worry about anything. Gopakumar Sir was always prompt in responding to our queries, making everything seamless. The location is also convenient, with the market nearby for any essentials. This place is worth every penny, and we’ll surely return. Grateful for such a memorable stay!

My husband and I—both musicians—came to Kaayal in Varkala for a secluded retreat to make music, and what we experienced went far beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Nobby, the gracious host, who made sure we felt at home and fully taken care of. The property itself is an absolute gem—nestled by the lake, surrounded by nature, and so serene that we woke up each morning to the sounds of birds and the gentle rustle of leaves. The view of the lake alone is enough to calm your soul and inspire creativity. Special shoutout to Vicky and Kichu, the incredible caretakers who went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and joyful. Whether it was delicious home-cooked meals, piping hot tea within minutes of asking, or just being on standby for anything we needed—they made sure we could focus on what we came to do. The house was spotless, and the bathroom looked like something straight out of an architecture magazine. Highly recommend this Air BnB!

We can only give 5 stars on every count - I wish we could give more. Binduraj is a kind, thoughtful and interesting soul and his hospitality was boundless! He showed us round the stunning island, delivered us the most delicious food, and allowed us to check in SO early (even coming to pick us up in his boat at 6am). This was easily one of the best Air BnB experiences I’ve had - the village was amazing, the backwaters beautiful. We even ventured out in his kayak! Could not recommend more.

A lovely, cozy Airbnb stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. The host was friendly and responsive, making the check-in process smooth. Perfect for a relaxing getaway , highly recommend!

This trip with my friends became more memorable because of the host’s humility and kindness. He himself took initiative and suggested lot of local places to visit. The statutory placement of the building was just right. The rooms were well ventilated and we definitely did not require ac even on the hot sunny day. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We have enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth's home. Room photos are matching with the description. This property is surrounded by peaceful area and walkable distance from beach. We stayed here with family of 4. Hd a comfortable stay , the house was exactly as described and felt homely. The owners are also very sweet and nice. The house was very spacious and neat and clean and had everything we could have needed in a stay.

Ontzettend fijne week gehad in het huisje! Ook nog 1 extra nacht bijgeboekt. Genoten van de rust en van het huisje. Host dacht met ons mee met tips voor Kerala. Bedankt!
