Wow. Just wow. When looking for a comfortable, out-of-the-way, isolated location to have a staff retreat, Ameļkrogs was exactly what we had in mind. Spacious, yet cozy. Full of amenities, yet simple. Remote, yet close to town. Elizabeth and Martiņš were so kind and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better hosts and communication. The only surprise we had was just how much we felt at home there. Hopefully, we can return there for our next retreat.

It was an amazing place to celebrate Christmas. The house is really big and spacious, it was cozy and warm. They even put a decorations, lights and Christmas tree, that was very thoughtful, we were surprised. The kitchen had all we need for 6 people. The surroundings are amazing, the forest arround and the fresh air and tranquility. Everything was amazing. Would like to come back on different time of the year 😊

Vi var en familj på två vuxna och två småbarn som bodde hos Oksana i en vecka. Fridfullt trädgård, fräsch bostad på bästa läget i Ventspills med närhet till lekplats, matbutik och strand. Vi stortrivdes under den veckan. Lite få köksutrustning (till exempel gamla kastrull och ingen kaffemaskin) men utöver det så rekommenderar jag boendet varmt.

Очень милый, красивый, просторный дом с большой зеленой территорией. Прекрасный пруд с лилиями и лягушечками. Отличная сауна. Всё очень ухоженное, на кухне есть всё необходимое, в душе шампуни, гели для душа и даже крем. Приятная, отзывчивая хозяйка. Мы отлично отдохнули и всем рекомендую приезжать к Валде!

I recently stayed at a charming Airbnb room in the heart of Kuldīga, and it was a fantastic experience. The room had a cozy, atmospheric vibe with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Located right in the town center, it was incredibly convenient to explore the beautiful streets, cafes, and landmarks. The host was friendly and ensured a smooth check-in process. If you're looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Kuldīga, this place is a gem!

Both this apartment and Kuldiga itself were absolutely charming and wonderful. The location was perfect—right next to a beautiful park and just a block from the Kalku area which had an amazing restaurant, brewery, and coffee roaster. Everything else was a pleasant 5-10 minute walk. The apartment itself was comfortable and restful with easy parking.

Skaists, plašs dzīvoklis, jauka istabiņa ar skatu uz Kaļķu ielu. Dzīvoklī 2 lielas vannas istabas un virtuve. Bija viss nepieciešamais palikšanai, viss bija kārtīgs un tīrs.

I can't speak much about the original place itself, but I have to compliment the host. Due to unexpected maintenance, we couldn't stay at the exact location we booked. However, the host went above and beyond to arrange another apartment nearby, which was even nicer—I’d consider it an upgrade! The effort and thoughtfulness were greatly appreciated.
