What can I say but wow this was my first time in Santa Monica and first time in LA and this location did not disappoint while it was much cooler outside than I expected which limited my time on the beach the amazing views from the balcony actually kept me in the unit more than I originally anticipated The balcony is on the second floor, and so it comes with a couple of trade-offs while the view is amazing, you do get some odd looks if you are standing only 20 feet off the ground, but I made casual conversations with several of the passer buys, which got some laughs and some waves. I guess it’s just my Kentucky hospitality that I brought along for the trip. Check-in was easy. Communication was great. The parking is secure. The building is an apartment building not a condo building so it’s not maintained as well as some other places I’ve stayed but once inside the unit, it’s a nice little studio that was clean and smelled great

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and near public parking, which made everything super convenient. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Chris’s place. It is right across the street from the beach and next to amazing restaurants. Chris gave great directions on how to find the parking garage and it was easy to check-in. $30 a night for parking was a little unfortunate but overall we loved our stay and would stay there again.

This was a magical house i will definitely return to. I grew up spending time in this canyon and this creek view spot really felt like an alternate world. We loved the thoughtful details in the space including the amazing bathtub and bidet with a seat warmer. The sounds of frogs all night were amazing, and the hot tub we used every day. Mona was also incredibly flexible with our early travel arrival. It was all around wonderful.

Adam was always available and quick to respond to any question. He has a video library that answers any question you may have! The place was clean. Beds comfortable. Location was great!! 15 minute walk to the pier/ beach and Third Street. Pool was peaceful. Neighborhood quiet and safe. Had a great stay at Sunset! Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed an absolutely FABULOUS week on the Venice canals at Marie’s gorgeous and supremely charming and well-maintained bungalow. From start to finish everything was magical and dreamy and Marie could not have been a more thoughtful, kind and generous host. We cannot wait to return!! 😊

Amazing place! So happy that I was able to snag this place as last minute as I did. The original apt that I got was not available so they swapped me over to another apt, super similar! I appreciated them asking me if that was okay before moving forward! Complex is super close to the pier! Both hosts were super responsive to any questions I had, which were a lot! Place was super clean, no imperfections! Made multiple target runs to the one nearby, super convenient. A little hesitant when having food delivered, but the doordashers were aware of how to get into complex. Overall, will definitely look here again when I come back! Thank you again!

Jayne's place was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. She was a very friendly, responsive, and helpful host. I would recommend this property as well as her hosting to anyone. One particular thing worth mentioning is how well stoked her place was with useful amenities for the beach and the home. We brought more than we needed because she's stocked the house so well. Nice studio close to the beach and the everything Malibu has to offer

We stayed at Sarah’s beautiful property at Silver Strand for our wedding, and it couldn’t have been more memorable. Sarah was an amazing host—her clear communication, warmth, and hospitality truly added a special touch to our experience. Though it was pouring rain when we arrived and on our wedding day, the cozy atmosphere of the home made it a perfect place to celebrate. On our last day, the sun came out, and we finally got to enjoy the stunning ocean views from the rooftop balcony—it was absolutely breathtaking. Our dog, Obi, also loved it here! He had a great time walking around and lounging with us, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in the area. Thank you, Sarah, for helping make our wedding stay so special!

I would go back again and again! I was lucky to get the dates and times it presented and I took it! So glad I did! The waves cleared my mind and the sunset was beautiful. The beach walk was so peaceful and I felt like it was just my personal ocean (hardly no one in sight). Thank you Amber for allowing me the opportunity to stay in this castle! I will be back!

This is our 3rd time staying here, and it is just our home away from home. There is just a sprinkle of magic in this home, and I believe it has everything to do with Bridgett with all her creativity, and love put into all the little details. It just feels like a hug when we stay here, and the memories I have of my daughters are just priceless! So grateful for this place!

Great host, very responsive and pro-active. Location is really great with sea view. Nice size of bedroom and living area. Nice shower. Bess provided all necessary toiletries, like shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, etc… Furniture are a bit old but it remains comfortable. Cutleries, plates and glasses could be improved. There was only one glass for wine. I was alone, do it was ok, but still… Very happy overall and I am strongly recommending Bess place. Will gladly come back.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

The apartment is in a nice community. Including a pool, barbecue places, parking slots, and a gym. We felt comfortable during the whole stay. We would take this apartment again the next time we visit Santa Monica. 🙃

The building itself is close to the beach and ocean, so it shows some weathering. However, as soon as you step inside, it's Magical. The place was super clean and had everything you needed to be completely at home. The beds were super comfortable. We did not use the clubhouse so I can not comment on that. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come here again. Roza was so amazing and responsive. She is truly a Super host! Thank you Roza 😊 💓

Beautiful place right on the ocean! Walking distance from many restaraunts and shops, and allowed for a perfect relaxing weekend stay. Bed was comfortable and living room/kitchen was spacious and clean. The deck was the perfect vibe and would recommend to anyone!

We stayed there on our way back from LA to San Fran. It was an absolute surprise. Shamim is truly a super host. And the place was a gem. It was neat and clean, and everything was provided. Instructions were very clear and had a keyless entry. Dedicated parking was a great convenience. The absolute best part was the private access to the Beach. And the beach was gorgeous and expansive—a large flat swath of fine sand land all to yourself. It reminded me of the Copa Cabana beach section in front of our five-star hotel in the early morning when there was hardly anybody. The waves were gorgeous, and one young girl attempting to ride them in the distance. Shamim also recommended great restaurants in the neighborhood, which turned out to be great. Pacific Grill was great, and American Pizza, a few miles away, made our kid's day. Reasonably priced.

Great place on a great beach, plus pool and jacuzzi! Crystal was a wonderful host—easy to deal with, responsive and clearly cared about ensuring we shad a good stay.

Ivan’s place is a gem in Malibu! Ivan’s place is well appointed and well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, along with toiletries. The steam shower is a treat at the end of the day. The instructions were exceptionally clear and Ivan was communicative along with responsive. I would highly recommend staying here. The heaters on the ocean facing balcony were perfect for the cool evenings and mornings. There is gated, private parking provided. The pool along with the hot tub are a relaxing way to spend the day or end the day. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. There are restaurants within walking distance to dine in or order take out and the County Mart is within a short drive of Ivan’s place. Pepperdine University is a short drive from Ivan’s place. If you are looking for a well appointed, relaxing experience in Malibu, Ivan’s place provides this and more. You are steps away from the beach and the ocean waves will lull you to sleep at night. We hope to return very soon!
