We had a wonderful stay! Check-in was super easy and had clear instructions for check-out as well. The views were breathtaking, and we really enjoyed the hot tub.

Our trip exceeded all expectations. The home was beautiful inside and comfortable with such high quality amenities. The kitchen has stocked up with any utensils and pans you'd need. The hot tub was great and had a beautiful view to look out at. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

My partner and I had a great two night stay. We enjoyed the peace and quiet! The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and relax.

Spent two nights here with my husband. Kari was friendly and the accomidations were great. She had everything we needed to make our meals, even down to the digital thermometer for our steaks. The highlight of our trip was watching eagles fly around while the sun was setting, all while relaxing in the hottub. Not to mention the breathtaking review of the River Valley. Truly beautiful, peaceful and private. We look forward to returning!

This was a super cozy place overlooking the Mississippi River — a truly gorgeous view! It was perfect for a weekend birthday trip for my partner and we brought along our 2.5 year old who loved the upstairs loft! He immediately found toys (barrel of monkeys and a dice game) which was a nice bonus! The beds and the lot are perfect for kids - I ended up having to sleep part of the night up there (because toddlers) and I’m 5’2 and I don’t think I would have enjoyed the sleep more than a few hours even though the mattress itself was comfortable. The room with the full sized bed was small but comfy and I appreciated they provided an extra space heater! The hot tub was great and we got to use it after the little one went to bed. The first night we could see so many stars! Lastly, Emma was super communicative and friendly! The recommendations in the guidebook are spot on too!

This cabin was the perfect retreat to relax and get away from the hustle of daily life. Kari was very responsive and friendly! Cabin and the views are absolutely stunning- we would absolutely book with them again.

This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Cozy, comfortable, homey, amazing views, hospitable locals AND a hot tub! Emma and Jamey definitely pay close attention to the details that made this adventure not only memorable but unique. My husband and I hope to be back again soon!

Absolutely stunning location! Sunsets, stargazing, hot tubbing, all in a very quiet and peaceful location. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. As someone who cooks a lot, that's saying something. I particularly appreciated that when I realized I left several basics at home. The internet was strong enough to stream a TV show. The pictures didn't do justice to the steepness of the driveway, but in a RAV4 I had no problem making my way up! Definitely heed that warning! We can't wait to come back.

A lovely cabin with plentiful amenities. This cabin was decorated in a beautiful and cozy way. Everything you need was provided making it the perfect place for laying low during a winter getaway! The property had plenty of room to romp around.

The cabin is in a beautiful location and the huge front space was so great for the dogs. I really appreciated her ease of check in and her prompt response time. She was flexible with us regarding our check out time and that was hugely appreciated . This was our second time at the cabin and will always recommend

We loved staying at the Hilltop Hide-a-Way! The surroundings were beautiful. Everything we needed for the weekend was supplied. It was so clean, cozy, and comfortable. The only slightly negative thing was the driveway. The listing does state that the driveway is steep. But it also has two sharp turns. It was a little bit difficult to navigate when you are unfamiliar but definitely do-able! Just something to note. The next trip to Hilltop is already in the works! We are looking forward to visiting again. 💕

Staying here was a great experience. Stoddard is a nice little community, situated in a beautiful part of the country, an easy drive to La Crosse. Ryan is a great host, and the house was as described, beautiful, clean, with nice amenities and a great view overlooking the river.

The Space Between Cabin was perfect for our family. We watched movies, played games, picked up pizza in DeSoto and had several bonfires. The wood stove definitely adds to the coziness of the cabin. We loved every minute of our stay. We look forward to returning, hopefully in the fall! Charity- Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with our family !

My boyfriend and I love escaping to cabins around the Midwest for outdoor getaways, and Patrick and Paula’s cozy cabin was absolutely perfect. It was charming, well-equipped, and provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our retreat. Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The surroundings were peaceful and scenic, and we had a lot of fun walking along the trails. My 8-year old especially loved finding the tree swing! Rodney was very welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was just right. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again!

Josh has a Jewel that's stunning and is located right on the Mississippi River. one the best locations we have ever stayed at. We will be back!

I rented Rodney's cabin Vireo for a girl's weekend with my daughter and my friend and her daughter. We arrived on Friday when it was beginning to snow. The driveway is long and very steep so we were thankful to be in an all-wheel drive vehicle-a Subaru (in the snow I don't think a vehicle without AWD would make it up the driveway). The cabin is nestled atop a ridge and is absolutely beautiful. It was incredibly cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We hiked and cross country skied on the trails on the property. We overall had a really lovely stay. The only tricky part was how steep the driveway was with snowy weather making the cabin difficult to access. If there wasn't any snow or you have a larger 4 wheel drive vehicle it wouldn't be an issue. We would return and would love to see the property in the summer! Beautiful immaculately clean log cabin with gorgeous view. The host was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We’ll be back for a cozy winter weekend.
