The place was super easy to find, tucked down a road and up a dirt driveway. The front porch was safe enough for my 1 year old to run around and know he wasn't getting out. The hosts knew we were bringing a baby so they sat out a pack and play and a bunch of toys for him, which wasn't expected but so appreciated. We ran out of trashbags and wrote them about it, they had some delivered asap! Beds were comfy as was the couch and super clean. Only thing was the back bedrooms either get VERY hot or VERY cold so be prepared for that. But we did love every aspect of this place and will stay again if we come back to town.

Very Clean, peaceful location that is safe for anyone to stay at and quiet too! Host is very responsive and informative check in and out was a breeze, highly recommend!!!!

I enjoyed my stay at Mrs. Ruby’s home. The view was amazing and the home was nice,clean, and comfy.

I was looking for a private cabin getaway and I got a perfect private cabin getaway. The location is small and cozy surrounded by forest with a nice fireplace and comfy hammock outside. We had a great time just relaxing with each other and living in the moment. I will definitely be coming back to this place with more people when we just need a break from life and want some good memories together.

From the moment I requested the reservation, Brendon was available to help me plan my trip and answer any questions. From local restaurant recommendations, to directions to the military base where I was working, to grocery store suggestions and local attractions, Brendon was the consummate professional host. His property is a lakeside oasis. The cabin is clean, quiet, and peaceful with scenic lake views. While I didn't partake in the fishing due to my work schedule, based on the fishing boat activity, this would be a prime spot if one was so inclined. One evening Brendon and his wife hosted a dinner party for some neighbors. He arrived at my door with an invitation to join them for dinner. I was blessed to partake of his hospitality and enjoyed some of his delicious seafood chowder. It is very rare to find someone these days who takes the role of host so seriously. I would highly recommend not only the cabin, but also the hospitality one will experience at this location.

We have stayed at this Air B&B several times and always have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Kristi has always been very responsive and quick to fulfill and request we have had. It is a perfect place for a family gathering. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance you would want. The beds are comfortable. It’s always clean. You can’t find a more beautiful lake sunset on Toledo Bend. We enjoyed sitting out on the massive deck and playing dominos and Uno. I highly recommend staying with Kristi. We will definitely be back.

We loved staying here! It’s a peaceful cabin, you can see the lake from the back porch, super clean area and an awesome host who makes everything so easy! They have EVERYTHING you need in the cabin; lots of room, comfy furniture + beds, towels, pots/pans and outdoor cooking equipment. We’ll definitely be staying again.
