This is a great house, equipped with everything you could need, and is especially nice for staying with multiple couples because everyone has a bathroom.

Wonderful location for a family gathering. 10 of us stayed here at Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfy and our dog enjoyed the large yard. This was our second time renting this house and we would happily stay here again.

Recommended place to stay with families

The house is very cute in quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. We had free access to member’s only area that included indoor pool, gym, and other i door games. That was great for kids as well as for adults on rainy cold weather get away.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jess’s place! The home is nestled in a serene, wooded setting, with peaceful views from every window. It was the perfect layout for our family, and our kids especially loved roasting s’mores by the fire and relaxing in the hot tub. We enjoyed quiet strolls around the private neighborhood with our dog, and the well-stocked closet full of family games and toddler toys was such a thoughtful touch. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, remote with easy access to Galena, Many Conservation Parks and Debuqe Iowa. Spacious house for a Cozy Country Romantic getaway. Love the private hot tub on the deck and enjoyed Community Indoor Pool and Fitness Center down the road. The little pond is very nice and the symmetrical background view of the hills is just breathtaking. Fantastic for a large family getaway with a tree house, playground, basketball hoop and fire pit.

Jonathan was the best host!! He went above and beyond for me. You let him know what you need and he will do his very best to provide it. Don't hesitate to stay at his place, you will feel welcome and comfortable there.

We loved our stay at Nora’s place. Right beside the water and cute little streets to walk the dog and baby around. Bathroom was amazing! Coffee shops were great. Nora was very responsive and even checked in after we got there knowing we arrived in the middle of the night. She was also so sweet and accommodating with our baby. Definitely would stay here again!!

This place won’t disappoint! Exceeded our expectations! Very clean and wonderfully decorated. Conveniently located with a short walk to a coffee shop, cafe, bar&grill and more in downtown Shullsburg.

Great location for skiing, dinner options are a bit further but otherwise an excellent host!

We had a lovely vacation at Justine's beautiful home. Even with cold/rainy weather, we were able to walk to a local coffee shop, the children's museum, and a tasty cafe. There is an awesome free zoo just a short drive away that our kids loved, and the botanical center is small but beautiful. On a rainy day, we went to an indoor putt-putt place that proved to be a lot of fun for all ages. The home was the perfect place to return after a long day out, and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed relaxing in the evening streaming movies, and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. As other reviewers stated, parking can be an issue, but mostly in the late afternoons/evenings. We were prepared for this, so it wasn't a big problem. We did pay for a parking ramp one night but the rest of the nights we were able to find street parking, even if it was a block or so away. For us, difficulties in parking was worth being close to the heart of the city. Enjoy your time at this beautiful home!

My husband and I visited this rental for the first time recently and fell in love. It was close to our family but decent space to relax and was quite! I would 100% recommend this rental and the owner was SO helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend a better place in the area!

What an amazing property! Our entire group absolutely loved the house, and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The house is beautifully laid out and furnished, has tons of space, is in a great area, and has wonderful amenities. It was perfect.

Was in town for the wedding of a graduate school buddy, and Aleen's BNB was a perfect spot from which to relive the old days and good times. Extremely cozy, with beautiful views of Lake Mendota and easy access to nearby favorites including The Bou. Highly recommend.

I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a nice place. We enjoyed the stay and may visit again. It's very near Devil's Lake and easy to get to.

We had a great weekend in Madison staying at Douglas’s home. Amazing views of Lake Monona from the living room made the time at the house worth the trip. Highly recommended.

I felt comfortable right away. Clean, recently remodeled, well stocked ,nice neighborhood. Christine was so helpful!

My husband, daughter, and I , along with my sister and her family spent our second Thanksgiving at Shannon’s beautiful home and it was as wonderful and special as the last time we were there. I love everything about this historic house with modern amenities (the heated floor in the downstairs bathroom, huge clawfoot tub, and rainfall shower heads are luxuries!!) and Shannon made sure we had everything we’d need for a relaxing and fun holiday together.

Debbie was very proactive and responsive with communication. House was clean and as described. Neighborhood was quiet at night and close to restaurants. Would recommend.

Fred's place is just as advertised, a comfortable home to relax and live in. Fred is a wonderful communicator, ensuring we arrived safely, and checking in a few times during our stay. We were a little mystified by the multiple television controls, and he graciously called and walked us through it. We would definitely stay here again.

Their place had plenty of space for my adult daughter and I. We took the Badger bus from Milwaukee and the location was very close to the bus stop. Since we had taken the bus and arrived before the customary check-in, I did ask to put our bags there early and was granted early check-in. I really appreciated that as it was a cool, rainy day, and we only had about 24 hours to explore the town. If you’re planning to use the three beds in the upstairs loft, just be careful as the ceilings are slanted.

Well-kept, serene, and charming. This place is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The Farmhouse, set in the rolling hills of the Wisconsin countryside, is spacious and inviting and guests can expect a quiet, comfortable stay with all the amenities of home. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at the Farmhouse.
