Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

Rummelig bolig med gode opholdsrum. Flot master badeværelse. Det lille soveværelse var lidt trangt til 2 voksne, men vi var informeret om dette på forhånd. Dejligt og veludstyret køkken.

If You think the pictures are good, wait till you see the cabin in person! Such a cute cozy place. It's very well curated, not a lot of clutter and a lot of personality. Every single decor item was well thought and helped giving a very pleasant and comfortable feel to the cabin. The location is amazing: no neighbours to bother you, fantastic view, and so much silence around. The cabin had everything we needed and we particularly enjoyed the closed off terrace that allowed us to sit in front of the fire pit without the worry of our dog getting lost in the woods. The host was fantastic: first of all, she left clear instructions on how to reach the cabin since Google Maps was slightly incorrect; additionally she was very responsive during the booking process and was helpful the day before of the check-in, making sure we wouldn't be in trouble because of the icy road. We definitely recommend the place and hope to visit again!

Had a fantastic week in Hemsedal. Sondre Christopher’s place was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our needs. Communication with Sondre Christopher was easy. He was always available and checking to make sure everything was working well. It’s clear that the chalet is as much a home as an Airbnb listing so this is worth noting. There’s not lots of instructions or guides if that is what you expect but Sondre Christopher is always on hand to help with any requests. We would certainly stay again. Thank you

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.

Great accommodation and stylish interior. Everything was decorated thoughtfully and we felt immediately at home ourselves.

Beautiful and very spacious cabin, in a perfect location close to Hemsedal ski centre. Lovely and cosy place to relax in after a day of skiing. Responsive and helpful host.

We can recommend this 100%. Excellent location for both downhill and nordic skiing. Apartment has fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room with Netflix for bad weather. Signe-Lise and family were very nice and helpful. We and our dogs enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed staying at Cato's place. His apartment is comfortable, in a great location, and has beautiful views of the mountains.

En toppenlägenhet som ligger bara ett stenkast från backen! Välskött och fin, har allt du behöver. Rune är en supervärd, informativ, trevlig och svarar snabbt. Kan inte bli bättre!

Utrolig fint sted! Hosten var hyggelig. Hytten lå gåavstand fra alpinbakken og butikk. Har ingenting å klage på :) Anbefales!

Amazing place to stay! Very clean, has everything necessary and even more. I would say this cabin overcome my expectations! Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it truly made experience special!! Thank you for making it such a memorable experience!! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Wir haben uns in diesem Apartment sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist super ausgestattet und der Blick über die Skipisten ins Tal ist einmalig. Die Lage direkt an der Skipiste ist kaum zu übertreffen und die Garage ist perfekt für die Aufbewahrung der Skier.

아니타의 오두막에서 2박을 머물렀는데, 정말 특별한 경험이었어요. Cabin이 꼭대기에 있어 세상과 단절된 듯한 평온함을 느낄 수 있었고, 아늑한 난로 덕분에 따뜻하고 포근한 시간을 보냈어요. 🔥 아니타는 친절하고 신속하게 응답해주었고, 항상 안전을 빌어주는 세심한 배려 덕분에 더욱 편안했어요. 첫날 밤에는 늦게 도착해서 주변을 잘 볼 수 없었지만, 다음 날 아침 창밖으로 보인 호수 전망이 정말 멋졌어요! 마지막 날 아침엔 눈이 내려 오두막 주변이 하얗게 변한 모습까지 볼 수 있어서 잊지 못할 추억이 되었어요. ❄️ 노르웨이의 진정한 Cabin 경험을 해보고 싶다면, 이곳을 강력 추천합니다!

josteins place is great for those who want to see the areas by cross country ski and there is the great vaset skiheiser 3 min drive away where you get som down hill skiing as well.

Flott hytte med panoramautsikt over Vaset og områdene rundt. Vi hadde dessverre mest «innevær» under vårt opphold, men vi koste oss veldig i hytta. Vertskapet var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme og svarte raskt. Kan absolutt anbefale både hytta og området!

Mette er en veldig hyggelig vert! Stedet er fantastisk, nydelig utsikt og god beliggenhet. Mange flotte turer i nærheten og rett utenfor døra. Kan absolutt anbefale hytten videre!

We hebben genoten van een heerlijke kerst in het huis van Iver. Het is erg mooi, sfeervol ingericht en schoon. Iver had het het huisje helemaal in kerstsfeer gebracht. Genoeg ruimte voor 2 gezinnen. Prachtige omgeving. Heerlijk kunnen sleeen en langlaufen. Iver reageerde altijd snel en was zeer behulpzaam.

Wir waren zum 2. Mal in dieser gemütlichen Hütte- diesmal für 5 Tage. Leider lag wenig Schnee, so dass wir zur Loipe mit dem Pkw fahren mussten. Das Loipennetz ist super- wir waren nahezu allein. Danke für diese gemütliche und schön gelegene Hütte mit den guten Betten und der gut ausgestatteten Küche. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We enjoyed staying at Larysa's place, there is a very beautiful view from the living room and the a big supermarket is at 5 minutes. The road was always clean and getting to the parking spot was easy even if there was quite a bit of ice. From the parking spot to the house entrance could be challenging for older people or people with not good mobility if there is so much ice, it is only 15-20 meters, we just sit and slides down.
