Place was as described. Check in was easy. Sherry gave some great recommendations for food in the area. This was for a guys golf and river rafting trip and was a good place for us.

This place was an amazing winter get away! Still did some hiking and enjoyed the hot tub. Made the trip easy for pets with the fenced in yard. Walkable to restaurants. We loved the Gaines estate and Erin’s place we definitely want to come back!!! 10/10 review

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

Absolutely amazing Airbnb, wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Not only is it an incredible stay in an actual airplane hanger, but Ashley and her husband have included every amenity you can think. From the indoor fireplace, tvs, and stellar decorations, to the outdoor pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit, you’ll never be short of things to do. We loved watching planes come and go on the private airstrip, we can’t wait to come back and book a flight on the biplane! Highly, highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourselves !

Meeting up with family for thanksgiving. Everything we needed to cook a feast was there. It’s a great place plan to return

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

This house is a great place for a large group! So many beds and everything was well stocked to cook for alot of people, plenty of cups, dishes, silverware. Also pool towels and bath towels, we never ran out of anything. The pool was so nice! warm and very clean, lots of pool toys for the kids. Our host was so fast to respond to any questions we had, and they even mailed us back our stuffed animals we left behind. We had a great time!

We traveled to the area to explore New River Gorge. Easy access to the park. Traveled with my elderly parents and the accessibility features were perfect. Easy to get them in and out with their walkers. Relaxing space and quiet street. It was perfect for us! My Dad mentioned they were the most responsive hosts we have ever had at an airbnb.

This is the second time we have stayed here. If we are coming this way again, we will definitely stay here.

The cottage was a cozy place to stay. I loved the cottage decorations and it had everything I needed for my stay. It was near restaurants and main roads but didn’t feel like you were in town. I highly recommend for anyone traveling to Oak Hill area. Amy provided needed instructions and let me know she was available if I needed anything.

Thank you so much, Autumn! We had the best time in your cute cabin for our family Christmas vacation. You were so helpful and kind. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a home away from home feel with excellent hosts. If we’re ever back in WV we would definitely stay again.

My husband and I along with our two dogs had a delightful stay at Sasquatch Retreat. Aside from the unique and charming decor, it was beautifully located for our trip to New River Gorge National Park. Having a fenced in yard and dog friendly facilities made this a perfect choice for us. The welcome guide was super helpful with suggestions for local eateries and activities. Our hosts were wonderfully responsive to our questions. Thanks again, Andrew and Kasey for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Keller cottage! We visit the New River Gorge a few times a year to go rock climbing and have stayed in multiple AirBnBs in the Fayetteville area. I have to say that the Keller cottage is definitely one of the nicest places where we have stayed! The home is very close to the center of Fayetteville, and is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The cottage was spotlessly clean and looked just like the photos. Christy was a great host. She was proactive and very helpful. We will definitely plan on staying here again the next time we visit!

This was a great place to stay for our family of four. There was plenty of room for everyone, and a porch with a pleasant view where we could eat and relax. The kitchen was well stocked with essential cooking equipment and the snack bar was well appreciated by our kids. It was a short drive over to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center at New River Gorge and there were plenty of hiking trails nearer than that. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Second time staying here, great chance there will be a third. Best value in the area, great location in terms of proximity and the property itself. Home has everything you need, and great location for exploring New River Gorge and surrounding communities. Less than 10 min to Kroger, yet extremely serene and secluded. Would recommend to anyone, families, solo explorers, pet owners.

The home was very clean and very welcoming. The area was very peaceful and relaxing. The host was very gracious and friendly. I highly recommend this property and host. I hope to stay again during future visits to the area.

We sincerely appreciated your communication, initiative and kindness. And the house was perfect for our mini family reunion. Maybe we’ll come back during sunny summertime someday :) and enjoy that beautiful porch. It would be nice to have wifi but also it was good to be disconnected and there was some cell service. Hinton is a lovely town with kind people.

Very charming place. Lots of neat family tidbits, knickknacks, and local area history displayed throughout. We also appreciated the local restaurant and hiking recommendations. Had all the amenities we needed for a quick drive they stay.

It was a beautiful area. We were welcomed with a s’mores basket and a personalized card, it was very thoughtful! The place was super relaxing. The porch was great, loved drinking coffee on the porch. We played games they had and truly enjoyed family time. There were tvs but we did not even need them! Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!

This house was very nice and worked great for our vacation. There were only 5 of us which is far fewer than the house can handle. The 2 king bedrooms was nice as we had 2 couples. The kitchen was great. I always bring some kitchen supplies as we cook all of the meals while there. But they would be un-needed here, as the kitchen was very well stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils for pretty much anything. The internet was sufficient for streaming to multiple devices simultaneously. It was in a great location to head out to some shopping and antiques for my wife. And we hit local trails and waterfalls. You can easily walk to the endless wall trail if you wanted. The road is quiet, and this house is set back pretty far off the road which is great. We received all the info to get into the house before we arrived, and had no issues with anything while we were there.

The Gorge’s View home is a beautiful property located on the rim of the New River Gorge. The home is new and in excellent condition. It is well laid out to take advantage of the spectacular views across the gorge, and comfortably and amply furnished. The kitchen is large and well appointed, and there’s a large rear deck on the lower level and a very nice fire pit at the end of a paved walkway in the rear of the home. We used this house for a family gathering and it very comfortably accommodated 9 people for sleeping and 15 people for dinners. One thing we particularly liked is that the home has several different gathering spaces so that we could comfortably enjoy small group conversations without having everyone in the same room. Jessie and Jay were terrific hosts. They were responsive and accommodating, and provided lots of guidance and suggestions. They’ve even taken the time to label wall switches and drawer contents for ease of use - an example of their thoughtfulness.

This is the place to stay! From easy check in, fully equipped kitchen, ample sleeping quarters, fire pit, and convenient location to places you'll want to explore.
