Seymour was responsive and check-in was a breeze. We felt right at home in the tidy house with spacious rooms. The labels around the house were helpful and unobtrusive. Great location for tourists, and nature lovers. Shopping, dining and a lovely coffeeshop near by. Comfortable beds and linens. This was definitely the best Air B&B I’ve stayed in and hope to stay here again each time I return to the island.

The stay at the little house on the west coast was impeccable. My husband and I needed a break and the stay here was exactly what we needed. An impeccably clean and peaceful home with a beautiful view. We felt we could stay on the balcony forever looking out to the ocean, listening to birds and watching wildlife. Tess was so thoughtful and detailed with providing information that we would need. It truly was a wonderful stay and we are already planning our next trip here!

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

We enjoyed our stay in Canada so much! The house was the perfect location for us, very private in a neighborhood and a short drive to down town. Really appreciated the full kitchen!

The River House was the perfect home base for our family’s BC getaway. There was more than enough space for the four of us and our small dog, including an extra bedroom for the kids to have a sleepover when they wanted to. The appliances seem new and high-end, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We really appreciated the ability to charge our EV while we were there. We did not get to use many of the outdoor amenities due to rain, but we will definitely do so if we return during better weather. We would highly recommend this Airbnb for a family of 4-6 people!

Terry's place was absolutely fabulous! Exactly as described, very clean and spacious with lots to do (hot tub, outdoor fire pit, pool table)! I appreciated the dedicated workspace in the home which was perfect for those of us who work when we travel. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of small appliances and things to get you started when you first get there. Terry was a kind host who accommodated us with an early check in and great communication while we were there. We would love to come back next year, and absolutely recommend Terry and his place to all guests looking for a peaceful spot with lots to do, and beautiful surroundings! Thanks Terry for being a super host and for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Serene and Rodolfo were wonderful hosts! Beautiful, cozy space with well thought-out decor. Well-stocked kitchen and lots of games to cook meals and stay in.

We had very restful sleeps as the home was in a quiet neighborhood with very comfy beds. We were able to enjoy sitting on the deck one afternoon listening to the birds and enjoying the view. The drive to Ganges for groceries and restaurants was only ten minutes drive. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal including some vinegars, oils and seasoning. Our hosts were very friendly and keen to make sure we had everything we need.

This place was perfect for our family of four. we easily felt comfortable and at home. Clean and well maintained. Easy to get to. check-in and check out were easy. Felt very secure. The location is wonderful, incredibly walkable. Close to everything. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Astrid and Stephen’s place in the marina was an absolute gem. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly neighbour who so happened to be Stephen who showed us to our unit, and helped us check in. Though it rained for much of our visit, the views were still stunning—peaceful, calming, and a perfect escape. The home itself was pristine and full of charm, clearly cared for with thought and love. Every little detail made it feel like a true retreat. We flew in for my son’s hockey playoffs, and the location couldn’t have been better—an easy and scenic trip to and from the arena. In fact, we loved it so much that we added two extra nights to our stay instead of touring to Victoria. No regrets! The local touches were a highlight—morning walks for fresh sourdough bread from Grain, amazing local wines at nearby restaurants that we walked to for a few lunches, dinners and a stop for some delicious tubs of local ice cream that we stocked up on! Grateful.

Jane's suite is a perfect place for those who work away from home or want some time off. Quiet, simple and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. Communication is efficient abd warm. I would book again.

Susanne and Keith are warm, communicative hosts, eager to make you feel at home. Susanne was there to greet us and take us on a tour. There were fresh flowers and treats to welcome us! The suite is absolutely wonderful- bright, immaculate and beautifully decorated with attention to every detail. The bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchen appliances were modern and cupboards well stocked with everything you need. The neighbourhood is very quiet with access to nearby parks, trails (Lochside a must!), shopping and restaurants. One of the very best Air BnB’s we have stayed in. We highly recommend Island Stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Susanne and Keith for warm hospitality!

A lovely place in a lovely neighbourhood. The place had everything we needed and more! The parking garage was really convenient - we especially appreciated that they had a luggage trolley to bring up our things. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by, going to the nearby beach accesses, walking into Sidney and over all just enjoying a relaxing holiday. Cindy and Justin were great hosts - we hope to be back soon!

Sue was such an obliging host, she made special arrangement so I could utilize my time in the area to the maximum. I had a busy day in the area for other events and would have loved to have been able to enjoy the premises more than I was able. I would have no problem returning there possibly with better weather (it rained the whole time).

We couldn't be happier that we chose this place. Our hosts were fantastic and couldn't have been more kind and friendly. Anything we needed or even things we didn't think of, were there for us. We ended up having a prolonged stay, and they couldn't have been more welcoming or made it any easier than they did. The king size bed was wonderful, and I want to take the pillows home! The surroundings are beautiful, the birds, deer, and bunnies are awesome to see right out the door! We just can't thank them enough, we'll be back and highly recommend staying here. 5 Stars!!!

Nice place in great location!

Wonderful place to stay. We came without a car and were able to walk everywhere: Cook Street Village, Beacon Hill park, downtown, Chinatown, the inner harbour. Being able to watch the ships from the front room and walk along the seafront right out the front door was amazing. The house is luxurious and spotlessly clean. A great getaway spot!

My wife and I had a phenomenal stay at this Airbnb. Nestled in the city's heart, it provided a stunning view of the iconic Empress Hotel. The apartment was comfortably furnished, feeling like a second home. The outdoor patio was a unique highlight. Surrounded by trees, it served as a peaceful oasis amid the urban bustle. The pool and hot tub access added a layer of luxury, perfect for relaxation after city exploration. Our hosts were attentive, ensuring our comfort at every step. This Airbnb is a splendid choice for couples seeking a luxurious city stay. Eagerly awaiting our return visit!

The views of Cowichan Bay were outstanding. And the family of swans that we woke up to everyday were an absolute delight. Very peaceful place to hang out for 4 days.

If I could give more stars I would. this was an incredible place to stay while in Victoria with my family! There's so much to do, it's centrally located, and COMES WITH A PARKING SPACE. Staying at the Gambling Den made us feel like locals for our long weekend in Victoria. I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting!

We rented for a month, so we got to know the ins and outs of the building and the neighborhood. When we were searching our biggest concerns were: location, view, parking and pricing. Grace's condo is small but easily adequate for two active people (who like to cook) for a month's stay. Everyday we took long walks along the harbor. The best walk is to immediately cross the Johnson St. Bridge and follow the Songhees Walkway which goes 3km to the west. We saw herons and owls, otters and seals. Victoria has a homeless issue which is something one cannot avoid noticing. However, we did not feel unsafe at any time. There are neighborhood supermarkets within walking distance, though food prices are really high (about double) compared to the Superstore or the Costco in Langford, which is a 20min drive away. Grace's apartment has excellent parking and seems to include overhead racks for kayaks! We did not inquire about these, but there seem to be many free spaces. Enjoy!

When we had to vacate our home for restoration purposes, we were lucky to find this sweet, cozy space to make our 'home' for almost a month. Bryan and Phyllis were prompt and attentive to all that we needed. On top of that, they were such a pleasure to meet. Simply good people. We couldn't have asked for better.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning property perched on the ocean in Shirley, BC! The views of the Olympic Mountains from the premium hot tub were nothing short of breathtaking, especially when we spotted humpback whales at dusk on our first night—pure magic! The property itself at moments may feel more like a swanky international hotel with its backlit onyx kitchen and luxurious rain shower yet nestled in the rustic beauty of the coast. Our host, Robert, was incredibly kind and attentive, immediately offering his charging station for our car—a real relief. Highly recommend this place for an exceptional, premium coastal retreat close to Victoria!
