this is our 3rd stay at Katherine's beautiful spot overlooking the Mira river. Upon arrival, everything was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with everything you can possibly need. She made sure that firewood was stocked and the hot tub was cleaned and ready to go. Our group really enjoys the comfort and coziness of this beautiful home. the grounds are just beautiful, beds are very comfortable , and lots of room for the 8 of us! You need to bring nothing but your own food as she always has condiments on hand as well as a very nice welcome basket. we can not say enough good things about this property and the kindness of our hosts. We will definitely be back again!!!

Lovely home, privately situated next to the sea. The views were spectacular. The home was very neat and clean and very well maintained. It wasn't too far from the town of Baddeck where we got provisions and visited very good restaurants. We loved our stay at this home. Richard did a good job as our host. Thank you!

We stayed a week in Nadene’s cottage in Ingonish and it was perfect for us. The location is excellent and the proximity to the beach and views are exceptional. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for cooking or grilling and the satellite TV was a bonus. We’ve stayed at a number of places over the years in Ingonish area and none are better than Nadene’s. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lauretta’s place is a lovely cottage. We needed a place to stay that was quiet but central and this did the job. Very close to Sydney if you need it but also close to Baddeck and beautiful scenic routes. The cottage is cozy and well stocked. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We were visiting Cape Breton for Thanksgiving together with our in-laws. It was a great size for 4 people (and could probably hold a few more). Great layout, tastefully decorated, and was VERY clean. My mother-in-law was born and raised in the area, so we had a few visitors stop by - it was easy for them to find the place and there was space for them to park. The town had a power outage one evening - there was a knock at the door and the owner's father kindly brought us a propane lamp (we learned he lived in the area) which served us well for the rest of the evening. Power was back on when we woke the next day. Owner responded quickly to all messages. We would rent here again!

This is our third time visiting these cabins. They are fantastic each and every time we come. Our visit was in the winter this time and during a storm. The owner was very communicative with us, and the drive was plowed early so access was decent. There was a shovel provided that we used frequently. The heat pump kept the place very toasty. however I don't believe there is much insulation underneath the cabins, so if you are travelling in the winter, bring slippers or else you'll have very cold feet!

Place was awesome right on the ocean. Unfortunately we had a very rainy night and the rain water coming off the roof hit upon a ledge outside our bedroom window making it difficult to sleep.

Wow! Just a great place and she has it set up with everything you need. I really hope to get back there soon. I could not think of a single thing that was wrong. Good job Trina!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. Jayne and Luis were welcoming and friendly hosts who were quick to respond to any inquiries. The space is just as pictured, and was just as sparkling clean as other guests have observed in their reviews. We really appreciated the use of laundry facilities given the wet and cold weather, and found the cabin to be a very comfy and cozy retreat after a day of exploring this beautiful island. Thank you again - we hope to return soon!!

The house is spacious, modern and very clean. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially with the Colours in October. Each morning we enjoyed sitting with a cup of coffee in the crows nest upstairs and seeing the Bra d’Or Lake and hillsides. We had a problem with the front door lock when it often would not open or lock the door to our key presses. Aaron was responsive with providing a key to use instead. When we asked how to activate the floor heating which was not working, we were told to use the cozy gas fireplace to warm the house. That worked okay in conjunction with the ceiling fan.

Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The area is beautiful and quiet. The kayaks are great to paddle around in the calm water, and the fire pit is perfect for cooler evenings. We had numerous cloudy days and no trouble with the solar power. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

What a beautiful place! We are in a midst of a long trip through Maine and Nova Scotia, and Lisa‘s place in Ingonish stands out as a highlight of the trip. It is a real wonder to sit in the living room and look at that vista. There is a quiet and simplicity to being there that I really appreciated. Thanks for sharing this space with others!

Little oasis tucked away from it all. The location is very private and has incredible views and sunsets if you're lucky. Had all the amenities needed to cook some dinner after a day hiking or to put your feet up and relax and enjoy the views. Eric and Von responded very quickly to any questions we had and we're a pleasure to deal with.

We really enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen and laundry facilities. Beautiful view and very walkable to restaurants

Second time staying here . It is a very clean, modern and a well kept place. Is well worth the money for the space.
