Es war ein tolles Apartment, wir haben uns zu dritt sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist super, direkt am Stand, und dennoch etwas abgelegen, sodass man seine Ruhe hat.

This house is gorgeous with beautiful views and beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Our host, Karen, was so thoughtful and friendly, with great recommendations for activities on the island. Our family of seven had the best time staying here at their home, and a great time touring the island for volcanoes and puffins. Everyone in the family agreed that we needed to return here!

Our stay at Brynja’s was great! She was very proactive about communication and the Airbnb was exactly what we needed. Some great tourist spots were conveniently nearby and others were not a long drive away. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to spend less time driving and more time exploring like we did!

Eva’s home was very nice and she was very responsive with us when giving us directions!

Great place with homey feeling. Perfect parking spots. 30 mins away from the famous Seljalandsfors Waterfall. Supermarket just 2 mins away from the accommodation

I would give Sara 10 stars if it were possible! The apartment was exactly as listed - elegant, clean, and we felt right at home. Sara was extremely responsive and even had a "Welcome Guide' that included recommendations on food, activities, instructions for checking out of the Airbnb, using appliances in the home, etc. - everything that we had potential questions for, she had already answered for us. The location is Selfoss is peaceful, and it is right down the road from restaurants. More importantly, we were able to drive down the south side of Iceland and visit multiple landmarks including Black Beach, Seljalandsfoss, Solheimajokull, and more. We would highly recommend staying here if you are in Iceland and looking to explore its many natural beauties (a rental car is also very helpful). We will be staying at Sara's place again if (and when) we come to Iceland again.

Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

La sistemazione e’ stata quanto di meglio potessimo aspettarci. La casa consente di ospitare 7/8 persone in un ambiente accogliente, caldo e ben arredato, con una cucina fornitissima di tutto quello che può servire. Due bei bagni con doccia molto puliti e forniti di molti asciugamani. La titolare è stata molto premurosa nel contattarci per fornirci in anticipo tutte le indicazioni utili e molti suggerimenti su quanto poteva offrire il circondario. Selfoss e’ un’ottima base per visitare la parte sud dell’Islanda e la casa e’ in una zona tranquilla, qualche kilometro fuori città, attigua ad un allevamento di cavalli, ma allo stesso tempo molto comoda a tutti i servizi utili per gli approvvigionamenti quotidiani. L’esperienza vissuta è stata eccellente.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house! The place was well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, making our stay very comfortable. The host was excellent, super communicative, quick to respond, and always willing to help. A special mention to Maria, the lovely cat, who gave us the warmest welcome! We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to others.

Logement très confortable sur Selfoss. La décoration est soignée, tout est fait pour qu’on s’y sente bien, la literie est parfaite. Bon emplacement pour les visites du Sud/Sud-Ouest de l’Islande.

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

Best accommodation we’ve stayed in Iceland! The host is extremely helpful with lots of recommendations and tips which we really needed. We had a few requests and Ingi went the extra mile to offer help and gave us very good tips to watch the northern lights. The place is so comfortable that we didn’t want to leave. Beautiful home and a wonderful place to stay! we did not get lucky with weather but still a fantastic base for exploring the South of Iceland!
